《Life of the dark god》Arc 3 Prologue Living on my own land

It has been 3 years since I first came to this island and I have been through a lot since then. Every day, I dedicated myself to expanding my domain, training and magic. Last year, I would have needed to travel to the human continent 1 year ago and attend Sonya Academy, but I had some things which hindered me from going. To explain everything I need to start from the start.
Luckily water was secured with water magic so I first had to secure a steady food income or I would starve to death. After long thinking and a lot of failures, I created a new and my personal vegetation on the island. I could do it by fusing water, earth, life and creation magic together. Starting off with normal weeds until I was able to alter their appearances and types. Now I am even able to create medicine herbs, but in the beginning normal grass was everything I could do. Afterwards I tried to create trees which would bear fruits for me to eat and like that I would have created my food source.
At the beginning I was barely able to create a little sapling. Trees producing fruits like apples seemed like a dream to me, but I got better and better because otherwise I would have long since starved. In the first few tries to alter their age, I killed them accidently because I made them too old. They instantly withered when I used my magic which left a bitter feeling of defeat inside me. After adjusting the right amount of time I succeeded with one edible apple on a tree. That apple, even though it looked inedible didn’t kill me and helped me survive my hunger. For the beginning it was ok but I had a lot potential to grow in that category.

Like that the first few weeks pasted and after a month or so, I had a few hundred trees which I modified, so they would produce me at least 1 fruit every day, so I could survive. Shortly after, I realised that my vegetation needed more, so I created insects and animals to populate my land. Insects were really easy to create, so I left them alone when I had a few of them, but animals were a lot harder and took more time. To create a living creature, I had to know the complex biological system and when I just created the heart and brain in the beginning… It’s better not to talk about what happened. Let’s just assume they didn’t survive long.
With the new vegetation, which got even better every day, due to me constantly improving in some areas, those species I was able to create, flourished and reproduced. Because I was there, the animals were too afraid to fight between themselves over territory, so it has been peaceful and there were no deaths. Everyone only ate fruits. I tried to kill one of the weaker looking animals but when it looked at me with an innocent face, I wasn’t able to kill it. I stopped even thinking about meat since then. I have to say, I lived a simple life, at least if you ignore the rest.
At first everything was quiet and I could focus solely on my training, but after a while more and more challengers kept appearing all over the island. Beastmen, Dragons and humans came to kill me and seize my land. I guess spirits were just not interested and Demons avoided my Island, so I only had visitors of 3 other races. In the time I have been there, I have been able to feed the sword of dominance a lot of mana and expand my domain. Because of that, even if I was able to feel the enemies coming, it took some time to get to them and even more to defeat most of them. During that time, a lot of my animals got killed because I was late and eaten by them, which really annoyed me. My own creations lived day after day in fear. I won’t deny the fact that those enemies, were also helpful to me, because I could use them as fuel for the Sword of Dominance and most of them even for fighting experience, but when a few challengers came every day, I had enough. With earth magic I built a wall around the island, which unfortunately didn’t last long.

The solution to that problem came much later. By coincidence I learned that the sword of dominance had some more convenient abilities. It functioned like a dungeon core. It had the ability to increase territory, the ability to create monsters, which I never used and would never use and even the ability to reinforce things in my territory with accumulated energy. After feeding it with a lot of energy every day, I was able to use that energy, to build a reinforced earth wall. Even I wouldn’t be able to destroy the gate as it was now. I left 1 single entrance to my land and no challenger was able to pass.
When some of them fought me, they said something like coming here to discover the secrets of the black continent or a SS monster called [Nightmare] which would come after them and kill them. After some time, I realised that they were referring to me and my island but it didn’t bother me. I continued my training and more or less lived a peaceful life.
A whole year, I was able to live like that. I really liked the species and the nature I created, which helped me cool down my head, when I failed for who knows how many times. After creating a lot of animals, I had to name them. But because I didn’t want to name every single one of them, I only named their species. I got to know that I inherited my creativity from my father, the hard way. I started with the ones that looked like normal wolves. Because they adapted to their environment, they became much more docile and stronger. Who knows how long I tried to be creative and think of a name. It go on my nerves so I got a little bold and copied a name of an already existing race. I switched the race of god around and simply called them dogs. The other names were decided quite similar, I used a word and switched some letters and got new names.
It was a lot of fun playing with them and I became quite the animal friend while looking after them, like a father would after his son. They trusted me completely and would even sleep next to me. If I was angry because for example I failed to succeed in some kind of magic experiment, I had on my mind, I could stroke them every time I wanted, to calm my heart and mind.
And man that fluffiness was really unbeatable when it came down to that.

Rifts of War
The visions. It was they that told us about our future. They said that we were the true rulers of the world, the spreaders of light, the guardians of the rightious path. The visions gave us signs of a bright new world, one united under a single banner of light. All those who opposed us suffered and here we stand on the top, watching over the world. We thought it would last forever, but we thought wrong. The visions once again spoke to us and gave us insight, but not to glory or power. They spoke of a terrible fate. An enemy from beyond the realm, one that wishes to destroy us all, one that threatens to bring about the end of the light and usher an age of darkness. As its guardians, we could not allow that. And so we decided to strike. Our armies and our mages gather at the great rift that connects our world. No one knew what we would find. Treasures? Rich land? Savage beasts? There was only one way to find out. A/N: The story starts out pretty quick and I know people will say this is a "military p*rn" but that's only the beginning. I really do have much more planned for this book so I can make a true 'war of the worlds' type of deal. So stick around and enjoy
