《Life of the dark god》Chapter 14 Explaining the plan

The situation didn’t change at all. It remained with all of us only silently eating and sitting at that round table. I prepared to leave as soon as the sun would set, but if they remained like that I had to change my plans. I had no idea what I should do and there was no one who could tell me. When the sun did set, I had enough of it.
“If you remain like that we won’t be able to do anything. Everything will stay the same and nothing will change. We will stick to my plan and if you guys don’t prepare yourself for that, it could even be the last things you do. I will go now. And if I come back and see that your behaviour didn’t change, you will all, and I mean all, go through a training of hell even worse than what Horan, Sepp and Sandra went through.”(Me)
I stood up and said without batting an eye, without even the slightest hesitation. It was harsh but if I remained the nice big brother, they would forget the cruelty of the world. After finishing my last words, I turned around and headed into the direction of the summoning circle to go back.
“Wait! I will prepare myself, don’t worry! What you should be careful about though, is that I could beat you in 1 month.”(Sepp)
He said full of himself and filled with emotions. I turned around 1 last time to answer his challenge.
“Fine I will be. Let’s make a deal whoever is able to beat me, no matter the time, no matter the place, will choose what we do from now on. But if you only slack off a little bit, you will never be able to beat me, because I will leave you far behind. You are not the only ones who fight.”(Me)

With that I left them. If they couldn’t even overcome this situation, they won’t be able to survive on their own. When I reached the summoning circle I turned back to look in the direction I came from.
“Farewell. Till next month.”(Me)
I said and activated the formation. The next thing I knew was standing in my room. Nothing changed except that the moon had already risen, while the sun was completely gone.
“Sigh. That was harder than expected.”(Me)
I was really tired and went directly to bed. I was woken up by that damn clock the next morning.
“Come on, you even function when I don’t need to go to school. Who invented such a stupid thing?”(Me)
Let’s ignore the fact that I didn’t know that I had to change the settings then. Mostly because I had no knowledge about technology and the stuff yet.
I stood up from my bed and stretched. The sun was already up and through the window it shone into my face. I knew I had a lot of free time. I didn’t have anything to do until 15:00.
“Sigh, perhaps I should start to think of strategy how we could find the other 3 gods.”(Me)
I said to myself and left my room. Afterwards I went downstairs and left the dormitory. It was a sunny day and I wanted to walk leisurely around the school grounds.
“Now that I think about it, it would be bothersome to think of a new way to search for the other 3, I’ll just stick to my plan, which will hopefully go well.”(Me)
I said when I stood outside the dormitory and started to walk. The problem was, I noticed that I said it out loud too late and the next instant, I got my punishment.
“Would you mind telling me what you are talking about?”(Takeshi)

“Why am I so unlucky?”(Me)
This time I made sure he didn’t hear.
“Huh? What did you say? Never mind, mind explaining your plan to me?”(Takeshi)
“Don’t you have class?”(Me)
“Haha, don’t worry, our teachers are similar to each other. I also won a class challenge and the teacher allowed me to stay away from class for the next 2 weeks.”(Takeshi)
“Dammit.”(Me)
The most important thing for me was that I would seriously learn how to not say what was on my mind or I would say something dangerous 1 day.
“What dammit? I don’t understand?”(Takeshi)
He clearly understood what I said. To top it off he was smiling at me and waiting for me to talk.
“Let’s talk somewhere where no one can hear us.”(Me)
“Sure. I know of a place where no one will hear us.”(Takeshi)
“I don’t care. We’ll talk in my room there are defensive systems to prevent others from overhearing and watching things they shouldn’t. And don’t worry there are no traps installed.”(Me)
1 thing I knew for certain, I got better and better at lying to others in their face. I totally forgot to install any defensive measures. At least I checked the room of traps. The only reason I wanted to talk in my room was that I was sure that there were no traps laid out beforehand.
Takeshi was clearly displeased with going to my room, but I didn’t care. We entered my room and Takeshi closed the door. I told him to sit down on a chair while I sat on my bed.
“I will start with what you already know. I am searching for all of the 4 other 2nd generation of the race of gods.”(Me)
“2nd generation?”(Takeshi)
“It’s a cool name shut up and listen. My problem is that I only had information about you.”(Me)
“Wait how did you get information about me?”(Takeshi)
“Secret.”(Me)
“Sigh. So you have no idea how to search for the others.”(Takeshi)
“I didn’t say that. I only told you that I only had Intel about you, but I have a plan.”(Me)
“The one you were talking about earlier?”(Takeshi)
“Correct. I have some friends, which will travel around the world and search for hints, where we could search for the other 3. I will let you know as soon as we find something.”(Me)
“Anything else?”(Takeshi)
“No. That is my plan. Nothing else.”(Me)
Takeshi looked like he was thinking.
“Care to tell me what you know about the race of gods now? The earlier, the better I think.”(Takeshi)
Well he took quite the advantage of the situation. I started explaining him what I know, where I used to live with my parents and that I left home because of certain reasons. I skipped the parts with my siblings. I explained to him that someone told me that there are strong weapons and items left behind by our parents. And again I skipped the part from who I knew that. It was ok though, because he only wanted to know about the race of gods and not about my life.
I ended up telling him almost everything I knew about our race. He was really dissatisfied in the end and started to hit me with question after question. We finished by the time of 14:00 and Takeshi was finally satisfied and left. I was really exhausted by then.
“Sigh. He finally left. Man he was really persistent. 14:00? It took that long? Isn’t rune class going to start in 1 hour?”(Me)
I laid down in my bed and closed my eyes.

Apparently, even heaven had the odd clerical error. Which was not something Nathaniel Miller would have expected, and yet, that seemed to be exactly what had happened to him. The collector of souls seemed to have been given the wrong address, and instead of taking one Nathaniel Miller of the earth apparently right next door, he took Nate. As recompense for this small bit of error Nate was placed in the body of the Nathaniel Miller that had supposed to have been taken in the first place, and seeing as he now had an opportunity to try to live his life a different way he planned on taking advantage of this chance. No one, however, had specified how different this world would be from his, sure they had said the tech would be a little older, and there were other small anomalies. But no one had seen fit to let him know that older meant medieval, and those small anomalies mentioned? They probably referred to all the fantasy elements and magic that seemed to be part of this world. Still, he was determined to do better this time around, after all, chances like this were next to unheard of...
