When I woke up the next morning, I could feel every single injury I had. It hurt so much that it was hard for me staying awake and not falling unconsciousness. At least my face was healed more or less.

I opened my eyes and realised that it was another beautiful day, on which I had absolutely nothing to do. It was really convenient for me having that much free time, so I just remained lying in my bed and slept the entire day.

The next day I woke up, not because of my clock, but because rays of light were shining directly onto my face. I didn’t know if my body was just really tough or some kind of wonder medicine was used on me but on the next day, my bones went back to their original positions, at least it felt like they did. Unfortunately, the pain didn’t go away, but at least I would be able to move around again.

It was the 6th day of the 1st school week. Every 6th day of a school week was a free day. No lessons and no training. It wasn’t even allowed to do quests from the school quest board. It was a day for the teachers and students to take a short break from all the stress they had. The 7th day was also a free day, but you were at least allowed to take and make missions.

Like the previous few days, I was left with nothing to do. Training wasn’t a good idea because of the state of my body. There was a saying that overworking your body would only harm it, or something like that. If there was, I think that Sir Armstrong has never heard about it.

I left my room to go downstairs. When I opened my door, I was “Good morning” –ed by Takeshi, Sakura, Ryo and Haruto. Afterwards I got questioned, why I stayed in my room all day yesterday. I have no idea how they got to know that, but I told them about Sir Armstrong’s “training”. Their reaction differed. Sakura thought that it was a barbaric way to train someone by breaking their body and Takeshi was happy about it.

“By the way, actually we came to ask you if you are free today.”(Ryo)

“Well yeah, I have nothing to do today, why do you ask?”(Me)

“After discussing what to do and…”(Ryo

“We want to visit the city. Do you want to come with us?”(Haruto)

Haruto disrupted Ryo to finish this discussion faster.

“Sure why not.”(Me)

We went downstairs and headed towards the exit of school. When we reached the gate, a gatekeeper asked us to show our student cards, that thing I got after my entrance exam. After showing him our cards, he let us pass and we left Sonya academy.

“Sigh. It has been a whole week since we left the school grounds.”(Sakura)

“Right. They should let us out more often.”(Ryo)

“Agreed.”(Takeshi)

I could only smile when I thought about how I could leave whenever I want.

“Are there any places you guys especially wanted to visit?”(Me)

“Marketplace!”(Ryo, Haruto and Takeshi)

Sakura was taken aback when all 3 of them shouted from behind her.

“There you have it. Sonya academy is famous for its marketplace. No one of us is noble and our parents don’t have much money. The only way for us to obtain money in the past was by completing missions.”(Sakura)

“We acted as a team on all those missions and we will also share the money we earned.”(Ryo)

“Not with you though, cause you weren’t there last year.”(Takeshi)

Sakura looked at Takeshi with eyes that would kill him every second after his unnecessary statement.

“It’s ok I totally understand. Don’t worry, I have accumulated quite a fortune in my past.”(Me)

“Then it’s fine. Don’t worry about Takeshi, he loves talking without thinking before.”(Sakura)

“I already noticed.”(Me)

We proceeded towards the marketplace with Haruto leading the way. His father owns a little restaurant at the edge of the market place and when he was young, he often ran in the city, so he was the most familiar with the city and knew exactly where to go.

After we reached our destination, a plaza of the marketplace, we started visiting some shops. Starting off with some food shops. I have to say, I loved those sweets we bought. We also went into a jewellery. They had sapphire, ruby and other stones with weird names. I wasn’t interested at all but I didn’t show that to Sakura as she was enjoying the shopping tour.

I don’t know why but we passed a lot of blacksmiths and armor, as well as weapon selling shops, but never went inside 1. When I asked Takeshi, he asked me if I was stupid enough to visit 1, when I don’t even look like I could hold a short sword. Moreover, he said that in a really sarcastic tone. I had the urge to punch him in the face at least once but refrained from doing so.

After a while, we lost each other. Or at least I lost the others. The last time I saw them was when we passed some clothing stores. Then I saw some chocolate fruits, you have fruits on a stick and dip them inside a chocolate well, simply delicious. When I saw them I had to get some and lost my guides. Afterwards, I tried searching and ended up wandered around for a whole hour, but couldn’t find them. I somehow ended up in an alleyway.

I was completely lost. What was even worse, was that there were no people around. All I could see around me were houses and walls. The further I went, the more I felt lost. I wasn’t desperate though. I knew I could leave with wind magic any time I wanted, but the sun was high up and I had a lot of time so I wandered around the alleyways for a bit.

“Help me!”(?)

“Hold it, kid!”(?)

A little child, in tattered clothes was chased around by a human man. It was hard to tell, which race or which gender the kid had, because it was dirty all over the body. In its despair, the kid saw me and ran towards me.

“Help me, please, I beg you!”(child)

The child wasn’t the only 1 who saw me.

“Oy, you, stop her!”(Man)
