《Supernaturals Untold》Chapter 19: Cryilla

Camilla stood there motionlessly. Tears ran down her cheeks uncontrollably.
As Lorene blasted her with unpleasant words.
Kyle had gotten tied of the whole drama that he had left without a word.
Seeing the commotion in her store, the elegant boss lady made her way to the scene.
"What happened here?"
"Thank God your here..... See what your stupid shop attendant wanted to sell to me. A broken bag! Does this store sell fake items? Why did you even hire such a good for nothing pile of junk." Lorene started her complaints.
The boss lady's gaze moved to the broken bag Lorene was pointing at before looking at the crying Camilla.
" Camilla is this true?"she asked. Having doubts on what the actress had said.
Camilla was her best employee. How would she even think of selling a broken bag.
Camilla didn't explain as she ran out of the store crying.
Her actions confused the boss lady.
And Lorene simply stood there smiling wickedly as she watched Camilla's back.
Camilla ran to the mall's elevator.
She bumped into a few people on her way there and a lot of gazes were thrown her way.
Once she entered the elevator, she tapped the last button without butting an eye.
She skunked to the elevator's floors as she cried.
The scene earlier was so painful that she didn't even have the strength to defend herself.
It wouldn't hurt if she felt nothing else for Lorene but hate.
Too bad for her, she still thought Lorene had some good inside of her.
She hated her. But she still loved her.
She thought that one day, they would look back at these days and laugh.
But from what Lorene did to her earlier. She had that thought out of her hate.
She wished she could bring herself to hate Lorene.
She was tired of all the heart ache.
Once the elevator dinged and came to a stop, she exited it and ended up in the malls underground parking.
She found a secluded place where could cry in peace.
She sat on the ground with her back leaning on a car as she let out sorrows.
Without noticing, 30 minutes had passed.
And with every single drop of tear, her heart went numb.
Her hate for Lorene had risen by a small level. But she still remembered the happy moments they shared together.
"Why are you doing this to me Kyle!" Lorene chased after the emotionless man who had just exited the elevator.
He didn't even but an eye when Lorene tugged on his shirt.

"I love you Kyle..... You can't just let me go like that....."
"Well, watch me." Kyle said with out turning back to look at her.
He continued walking forward with his hands held behind his back like an ancient being that knew all.
"Kyle!" Lorene halted her steps and pretended to be the one in charge between the both of them.
Kyle looked over his shoulder to look at Lorene from the corner of his eye. "What?"
"It's your loss. I am a rich and famous actress. Are you sure you no longer want me?" she said holding her ground. As she inwardly prayed that Kyle wouldn't say yes.
And luckily he didn't. He simply kept quiet and let Lorene's voice echo through the underground parking.
She wiped her tears with a smile of relief." As I thought. I knew I was impo...."
Before she could complete her statement, Kyle responded coldly, "Yes I don't need you. I have all the money I want. Your just another pile of virus on my neck. Now leave me alone. Remember the agreement we made before."
Lorene's expression turned grim at that statement. "If I get tired of you. I won't think twice before dumping you. You can fall in love with me at your own risk. Cause I might break your heart when you least expect it. If you want this relationship to last, not to bore me. Am I clear?" were the words that echoed through her mind.
She remembered every last word Kyle said the day they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
And foolishly, she agreed to his conditions.
She thought that she could make his feelings mutual.
She thought that the man was just joking when he said that.
And besides, she had full confidence in her beauty. She knew that sooner or later, Kyle would be the one begging for her hand in marriage.
But looking back at her actions, she couldn't help but think of herself as a fool.
Her heart ached and raced with the fastest best she had ever felt when she saw Kyle leave her.
Her thoughts ran wild as the feeling of losing something precious filled her being once again.
She was addicted to Kyle and she couldn't bare to see him leave.
Losing all ration of thinking, she ran to Kyle and fell to her knees.
She hugged Kyle's leg to tightly; "Please... Please. Kyle. I love you. Don't do this to me. Please." she begged. As the tears from her eyes wet his thighs.

She waited in anticipation for him to say she had another chance. But it didn't come.
Instead, she felt a strong hand peel her off Kyle.
"Take her home." Kyle's cold voice sounded again.
"No.... No... I don't want to go home. I want to be with you. I love you Kyle. Please don't let me go. I'm begging you." Lorene cried as she was being dragged away effortlessly.
Camilla had peeked through the car's window and was able to witness at least half of the scene.
Fear crept up her spine when she saw how Kyle's friend dragged Lorene away like she was just a piece of paper. And for some reason, she was a little happy to hear Lorene's screams. It felt like a piece of her heart had been placed back.
Her screams resounded through the parking but later died down and were replaced by the roaring of a car's engine.
"So you got tired of that one huh." an angelic male voice filled the atmosphere.
With curiosity, Camilla peaked through the car's window again.
And an extremely familiar figure stood by Kyle.
But this time he wore a polo neck black t-shirt and a pair of black jeans.
He had a playful smile on his face as he looked at Kyle.
"It's a putty though. She's such a beauty. Don't you think? I know you will regret this."
"Mind your business Tailor. If you want her, you can have her. In fact, you can have all the ladies in Vilatia." Kyle rolled his deep unfathomable eyes at Tailor.
"You such a kill joy. I was just messing with you. Jeez." Tailor crossed his arms over his chest as he watched the black Suv leave.
Kyle looked over his shoulder as he sensed someone was looking at him.
Camilla lowered her head when she saw Kyle turn his head towards her direction.
Her chest bobbed up and down in panicked breaths.
She was completely scared of the Kyle she had witnessed today.
Although nothing much had changed from his expressions, his temperament had undergone a drastic change.
When she compared him and Tailor, she couldn't make a mistake of overlooking the differences between them.
Kyle was completely heartless and lacked emotion yet both his friends or bodyguards, looked normal and friendly.
Kyle strongly reminded her of the ancient demons portrayed in books.
And not just any demon, the devil himself!
Cause demons had emotion. They were mischievous. They smiled. They laughed. They could get angry.
Yet this man was completely emotionless. Trying to guess what he was thinking was like trying to look for a gold coin in a vast ocean.
"Come out now." Kyle said then turned his gaze back to what he was looking at earlier.
Camilla didn't want to get out of her hiding but her legs carried her out.
It was like his voice was hypnotic.
She found it had to resist his command.
"Why are you hiding?"
"It's nothing." Camilla said.
Wondering on where she got the confidence to speak.
Kyle turned around to look at Camilla.
Taking slow steps, he approached.
"I hate liars." he tucked Camilla stray hair behind her ear.
Camilla's heart raced as Kyle stared into her eyes.
It was like he could see right through her soul.
"Why do you care?"
Kyle's lip rose on one side. A bemused smile forming in his face. The same usual emotionless smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Why are you wearing a suit?"
"Because I want!" Camilla continued with her stubborn responds.
Although she looked tough on the outside, deep down, she was breaking down trying to maintain her confident personality in front of the devil.
Kyle scoffed at the silly girl as if reading her mind.
" What is your name?"
"Camilla....."
"Camilla..... Beautiful name. But Cryilla suits you well." he stepped away from Camilla.
And turned to leave.
But Camilla's angry voice reached his eyes.
"Why you!"
"What can you do to me? Cry on my chest! That's all you know how to do." he mocked "Your naive and innocent. If you remain that way, this world will always be tough place for you. Take that as a piece of advise. Until next time, Cryilla."
Camilla looked at his back as he left along with his friend.
Although his words hurt her a lot, they were true.
She had to toughen up her heart if she wanted to survive in this world.
She needed to grasp control over her emotions.
She had to face her fears and face the world.
But she didn't know where to start.
Tears threatened to fall from her tears but she held it in.
The words the devil had said replayed in her mind over and over again. She had to prove him wrong.
The name Cryilla irritated her to her spine.
Who would like being called a cry baby anyway?
