Chapter 6

'Welcome to the world of Midas, Heroes.'

Stunned and dumbfounded, we heard a woman's voice, turning our head. A silver haired woman was staring at us, her pair of eyes were blue, has an oval face and wore a luxurious clothing. She was holding a scepter and wore a crown, behind her back a group of armored soldier line up protecting her. A princess I suppose.

'Wow, A beautiful Woman.' I thought

'Your Majesty, forgive my insolence.' A blonde bowed to the silver haired woman. She has a pair of black eyes, wore an armored vest, and a sword was hanging at her waist. The silver haired woman stared at the armored woman as she replied with a light smile.

'Seeing you excited I decided to watch for a while.'

'I didn't notice your presence if you inform us on your arrival, I would not act like this.'

'At last, we succeed, Claire.'

The two converse on their own pace, they seem to ignore as they talk to their selves ignoring our presence. The truth, I am confused, that armored woman said World of Midas. I am not ignorant not to know that we are not on the planet earth anymore, I happen to read one of Gabriel's novels. So I knew that this queen summoned us.

When I thought of fighting those scary demons, my body shivered and became weak.

'Are you okay?' Seeing me in this state, Hinata approach me with concern, I look at her and nodded. I don't want to be a burden, who always on someone, I have to be strong so I can stand beside them.

'Enough, let's greet our heroes first.'

The silver haired woman turned her gaze and saw our vigilant expression. A hint of worry appeared on her beautiful face.

'I apologize for late introduction, I am Claudia Gabriela 2nd.'

'I am also the queen of this empire.'

'As you've heard, you are all summoned in this world to be our heroes, don't misunderstand. I am not ordering you, but requesting you all to help us.' She doesn't seem arrogant like those queen in the novels, so we nodded our heads without thinking. But Hinata response was different from us.

'We humans were on the verge of extinction. In the past, the human had fifteen territories on this continent, but now, only six remains. At this rate, we will perish and become slaves for demons.' Hinata was indifferent as she looks at the queen with killing intent. The guards unsheathe their sword as they pointed it towards us, the queen waved her hands to stop them.

'Is there a way to go back?' Hinata said.

'There is, but.' The queen hesitated.

'We will do anything to go back from earth.' Hinata looks at Brigitte, who wore a cold face. Eh?

Is this the girl earlier?

'To go back from your world, we needed a device to track down your origin. So that we can find the coordinates of your world, making the success rate higher. But the problem is, that device is owned by the demon lord, so I am sorry for summoning you all to resolve our own problem.' The queen's tears slid down to her cheek, she's desperate for the sake of her people. I want to convince Hinata, but I am surprised at the words came from her mouth.

'Well, Earth is boring, and we don't have a choice anyway.'

'So what are we going to do?'

'First, we need to gather in the king's hall to look what kind of blessing you receive from the summoning. I have a high expectation that you all receive a powerful ability to contend with demons. Plus, you receive an enhancement from the magic circle, you should check it and adapt.'

Before going to the king's hall, we introduce ourselves to the queen.

The queen and Co, walk in the front to guide us.

Leaving us behind, I observe my body and look for the changes. I tried to lift Gabriel and found out that my strength increased a lot. Confirming my body change, we follow the guards into the king's hall.

I am wondering why they did not ask what happen to Gabriel, they seem to be considerate, as they didn't ask me about him. Did they think I am his girlfriend?

When I thought of that, my body became hot.

I calm my beating heart and look in the corridor. Hmm, this kingdom was like from the medieval era. The floor is covered with carpet, windows were little more than slits in the wall. Cold, stone floors and walls rarely kept in heat, as expected the walls were made from a mortar.

Inside the King's hall, many guards holding a spear welcome us, they are knights I suppose. In the middle, we saw an altar with a crystal attach at the top. The Queen was standing in front of us as she said.

'Put your hand on the top of the crystal, it will show us the ability you got.' The Queen urges us excitedly.

'Yosh, let's try it first.' Jin appeared to be excited, he was silent the entire time. So I thought, he was a quiet guy, he seems to be awkward earlier, but now he seems excited.

Jin put his hand on the crystal, a bright light enveloped the entire hall, then a blue a dragon appeared. The dragon stared at Jin then, entered his body.

The queen was excited when she saw a dragon. 'Amazing, he inherits the dragon god magic.' She mutters.

Jin appeared to be happy as he was grinning ear to ear. The next one is Brigitte, putting her hand to the crystal a spirits manifest, then swirl around her. But Brigitte seems to be confused.

'Those are spirits, I don't know much about spirits, but they are powerful.' The Queen explains.

Brigitte nodded and returned to her position. The next one is Hinata, I turn to look at Hinata, but realize that she was gone.

Then a commotion appeared from the crown, I turn my gaze to the altar and saw Hinata standing there. I was stunned, as I see a giant woman looking at Hinata with her sharp eyes. Seeing us dumbfounded, the Queen explains to Hinata.

'Hinata-sama, that War God belong from the ancient time. Her ability is unknown, so I can only say that she was quite powerful from the past.' Hinata seems to be satisfied as kept nodding her head.

I woke up in a daze and place my hand to the crystal, a bright green light covered the whole hall. I look at the queen with puzzled eyes, the Queen seems to be in ecstasy as she stared at me.

'It's a powerful healing ability, Philia-sama.'

The queen cast her eyes to Gabriel and said. 'Bring your friend at the altar and put his hand on it.'

I nodded and lifted Gabriel to the crystal, I hold his hand to put it above the crystal. When he touched it, a crack appeared on the surface then explode.

'What happened?' I ask.
