《Drunk Dungeon》Chapter 6

The long seven eyed thing moved its body fully into the cave entrance of Robert's Dungeon.
The beast was a total of seven feet long and a one-and-a-half foot wide. It let out a small hiss when Robert continued to stare at it after several minutes. The creature quickly made it's way deeper into Robert Dungeon.
Robert had created a passageway for Vocal as they had expanded the Dungeon, the hallway was around a hundred feet in length and about ten feet in width, and another ten in height.
Robert watched as the beast continued to move ever closer into the heart of the Dungeon.
They were starting to panic. The way the thin was inside them was just wrong. It wasn't supposed to be in Robert's Dungeon. Yet it still was.
Robert started to yell at it, screaming at it to leave the Dungeon, but whether the thin just ignored Roberts shouting or just couldn't hear it. It still advanced, this time a bit faster as well.
As the creature made it to around the feet inside. A new notification popped up in front of Robert.
Due to a lack of monsters, the Alpha Recordings shall gift you a random mob to defend yourself with.
Robert's mind was instantly filled with the image of that of a Rabbit. The little fluffy white things they had seen earlier.
Without a moment's hesitation, Robert brought the rabbit out in front of the beast.
A silver light coalesced in front of the beast, it's long body paused and it slowly lifted its head up to gaze upon the mighty creature Robert had called.
Blood, veins, and bone formed the first parts of the creature, with muscles wrapping around the veins and bones, encasing them in walls of red meat. Blood filled the once empty veins, and organs quickly formed next. The heart, kidneys, and brains. And so much more forming and activating.

Blood was quickly pumped through the entire rabbit's body. Kidney's operated and regulated the poison inside the body, the brain was quickly connected to newly grown nerve tissue. With thousands of strands of cells creating small electric pulses and bringing the rabbit into the world. Eye sockets and eyes, along with ears, a nose, and a mouth were quickly formed next.
The entire body was then covered with pale pink skin. Large brown blemishes covered the skin, before coats of white fur wrapped around it. The ears soon turned floppy with the addition of the fur.
With a mighty roar, a rabbit hopped on its feet. Ready and waiting to fight and kill the beast in front of it.
The beast opened its mouth and swallowed the rabbit whole. Swallowing the poor rabbit to bathe in stomach acid with a single gulp.
The beast then went back to slithering towards Roberts Core.
Robert summoned the rabbit two more times, but each summon was quickly devoured by the beast. It's like the rabbits couldn't even fight!?
Robert looked around, hoping to find anything that would help them beat this ruthless beast.
As the creature slowly made it halfway to the end of Roberts Dungeon. Robert channeled magical energy into the image of a rabbit, but this time. Right as the beast was about to be covered in a coat of fur. Robert imagined a part of their lake rising up and fusing with the rabbit.
The rabbit let out a horrible screech as it fell to the floor. It plopped on the ground, its once white fur now a dark brown.
The beast quickly turned towards the screaming rabbit and swallowed the thing whole like everything else. Just as Robert prepared to give up and accept defeat. The beast's head wobbled, its eyes diluted and widened. And with a mighty crash, it fell on the floor with a thud.

The creature let out a small content burp, before closing its eyes.
Robert looked at it shocked.
Ignoring the large puddle of blood that had been created when the last rabbit had been summoned. Robert asked "Is the power of being Drunk?" astonished at its ability.
Vocal let out a terrified scream as she soared around another tree, a loud screech following close behind.
The tree Vocal just passed suddenly exploded into flames. The trunk being ripped into three distinct pieces.
A hawk soared through the burning plants. Its face a mix of contempt and rage.
Vocal had been chased by the hawk for around ten minutes. The beast shooting out spears of sparks and flames at her whenever given the chance.
Vocal had already started running out of energy. She didn't know where she was and how to get back to Robert. She had turned off the connection the moment she left, wanting to keep Robert in the dark while she fetched the surprise.
Now she wished she hadn't. The link would've been helpful in finding the Dungeon and escaping the hawk. Vocal shot towards the ground like a bullet, narrowly dodging the hawk as it tore through the air and cut with flaming claws right where she had just been.
As the hawk soared forward to look around for Vocal, she attacked. Three small rays of silver magical energy shot out of her fingertips and struck the hawk in the left-wing.
The bird wobbled. Its claws slicing deep into the ground as it landed and stabilized itself.
Vocal quickly threw herself in the nearest bush. Narrowly escaping the hawk's gaze as it turned and looked around. It soared around the area where Vocal was, even landing on a branch right above her bush. Its eyes searched the area around it. Looking for Vocal, after ten minutes. The bird let out its equivalent of a sigh and flew off.
After a minute, and then two. And then three. Vocal exited the bush and collapsed to the ground. Exhausted.
She didn't realize she had made two mistakes.
The first one was not leaving the area immediately in order to put as much distance as possible between her and the hawk. And the second was calling it a hawk in the first place.
As the owl turned its head around a full 180 degrees to see if Vocal had emerged. It let out a small screech and turned around.
Its two wings flapped, and the beast imagined cooked meat, salted food. And a pair of butcher knives near a flame. The first sight it had seen when it came into this world. The only memory it had of its owner.
Its wings quickly turned crimson, and with a flap. Two blades of cooked flame shot out and hurled towards Vocal.
Vocal only smelled the flame, before the attack crashed into her and exploded.

Unliving
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon, November 2021] For the longest time, Aideen Fiachna had only one prescient wish; to be the daughter her parents could take pride in. Yet fate had a different path in store for her. For all her efforts, all her best laid plans, were but the broken off crumbs of 'one day'. That day, she was brutally slain by a vile, accursed undead being. Though, not even restful eternity awaited her in death. She awakened inside a coffin. Her coffin. During her own funeral wake. Discovering, to her horror, that she had risen. Not somehow resurrected, no, but back in the form of that most hated of beings--the curse of undeath. What will fate deal her next? Suddenly, a succubus
The protagonist is a personality like an iceberg: introspective, asocial and completely uninterested in the world and its people beyond necessity. Approaching ships beware! A succubus, on the other hand, lives for desire and interaction, playing mortal hearts like a fiddle. These clearly mix like oil and water, so what do you get when you combine them? This is a story of that kind of emulsion. *** Completed with 62 chapters + epilogue (total of 111k words). *** This novel is bit of an experiment for me. I haven't written fiction before, for one. I also chose a character context that I normally wouldn't, and let the characters drive the story, especially in the beginning. Overall the main focus will be the main character's own story rather than the events of the world. The setting itself uses many familiar fantasy elements, though I plan to add my own twists. Note that I'm not really planning to write any steamy scenes, despite the said character context being literal demons of lust and all. There are of course jokes and scenes that skirt around the subject, but this is not a romance story of any kind. So, is it a mess? Probably. But I hope it's an entertaining one at that.

Val is a 22-year old woman striving to become a User: a nano-empowered human paired with a Daemon that serves as society's final and most powerful line of defense. When a critical issue in her nanosystem's core seemingly leaves her unable to serve as a User, she's given a difficult choice: give up on her dreams or accept a potentially unstable AI, Noir, as her Daemon partner. Val and Noir are stronger together than they are apart, but can they survive long enough to unlock their potential? Can they find a place among the other pairings like them, shunned by society but essential to civilization's survival? If Users are humanity's last line of defense, welcome to the sacrificial first line: the Defects. Updates are currently once a week, aiming for the weekend. Chapters usually 2k-3k in length.
