《Finding Stardust》Chapter 62 - Breakfast

Emma woke up the next morning feeling so tired. She opened her eyes and tried to remember what happened. Her mind immediately flew to the events from the time Haoran picked her up in NTU campus and brought her to the marina.
Then, they went sailing with Haoran's new ship and celebrated his birthday together. Emma gave the special gifts she had prepared for the young man. Haoran was very moved by the gesture. Then they kissed in the air. Finally, Emma wanted to test her electromancy and she created so many lightning bolts.
Ohh, Emma now also remembered that she became very tired and later passed out.
She got up in bed and observed her surroundings. She found that Haoran had helped her put on her top so she could sleep more comfortably. Subconsciously, Emma touched her shirt with a smile. She trusted that Haoran would not take advantage of her and do inappropriate things while she was sleeping.
Emma looked to her side and found the young man sleeping on his back on top of the duvet. Apparently, Haoran deliberately took a position outside the blanket, so he did not touch Emma, who was lying under it.
Emma leaned over to look at the boy's face and careful not to wake him up. Ahh .. Haoran was sleeping so peacefully.
For some time, Emma just stared at him, admiring that handsome face. She liked Haoran very much, and her feelings for him were getting stronger every day. As her feelings for him grew, the sadness in her chest started to diminish. She just realized that she was no longer sad as she was before; when she was still alone.
Haoran's presence in her life gave Emma a place to share her ups and downs. She now believed in the Swedish saying "Shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow. "
Emma felt that her sadness halved every time she shared it with Haoran, and her joy squared whenever Haoran was with her. Moreover, Emma felt that, in this world, no one understood her better than him. They were both deeply missing the parents they loved. Haoran missed his mother and Emma missed her father and mother.

After she had enough of admiring the handsome face, Emma slowly got out of bed and changed her clothes in the bathroom. She wore a cute summer dress from the shopping bag and felt so good about herself.
She then stepped into the kitchen and checked the fridge and the kitchen counter. She was happy to find that they had bread, eggs, milk, and some fruits. She quickly made omelets and toast. She also sliced some mango and dragonfruit and served them with coffee and milk.
Once everything was ready, Emma entered the cabin to wake Haoran, but when she opened the door, she saw that Haoran was already awake. The young man was stretching his body when he saw Emma enter. He automatically smiled and greeted Emma.
"Good morning, Stardust," Haoran said in a cheerful voice. He got up from the bed and immediately approached Emma. "I smell food. Are you preparing breakfast for us?"
Emma nodded. "Yes. I was just about to wake you up for breakfast. Come on, don't let the omelet and toast be cold."
"Why didn't you wake me up earlier? I can help you make breakfast," Haoran said, grinning. He hugged Emma and then pulled her hand into the kitchen. "I can make a mad omelet, you know ..."
"Ahaha ... it's okay. I can do it myself. After all, you slept so peacefully. I didn't have the heart to wake you up just to help with breakfast," Emma replied. "You can do the dishes later."
"All right then," Haoran nodded in agreement. "Let's eat now. I'm hungry."
Haoran brought a tray filled with toast, omelet, and sliced fruits to the deck while Emma brought the coffee pot with two cups and milk. She poured coffee for them and handed one cup to Haoran. The young man accepted it and poured a little milk into his cup and then drank his coffee. His face was beaming with happiness.

"Thank you for breakfast," Haoran said.
"You're welcome," Emma said.
They then enjoyed breakfast together while watching the sea. During breakfast, the two of them talked about various things. Haoran wanted to make sure that Emma was fine this morning after she collapsed from exhaustion the night before.
"Uhm ... my body aches, but nothing bad," Emma said. "I was just too tired last night. I shouldn't have forced my limit."
"Hm ... last night you got me worried," Haoran said. "I was scared that you were hurt."
"Ah ... I'm fine, really," Emma said soothingly. "I'm just tired. I'll let you know if something happens."
"Thank God," said Haoran. "Oh, by the way... are you okay with skipping today's courses? How's your progress so far?"
"Not bad," Emma answered. "I learned a lot. By the way, on August 18, I will attend a cybersecurity conference at Esplanade. I want to broaden my horizon on the topic."
"It's Saturday, isn't it?" Haoran asked, checking the calendar on his cellphone. "Are you going alone? Do you want me to go with you?"
Emma shook her head. "I was invited by Allan Wu. He is our senior in school, maybe you know him? We took the same courses in NTU."
Haoran frowned. "I know Allan. He's the former president of the student council. That's the one, right?"
Emma nodded. "That's right, it's him."
"Oh ... I didn't know you were close," Haoran said again. "Does he like you?"
Emma shrugged. "Maybe. But clearly, I don't like him"
"Ahahahaha ..." Haoran smiled faintly at Emma's words. "I am happy to hear that."
Inwardly, he felt relieved. He still remembered how 'perfect' Allan Wu was. The guy was a model student and many girls were vying for his attention. He was handsome and smart, a perfect combination. Not to mention the fact that he was also the president of the student council.
But Emma just casually said that she did not like Allan. Ha. Haoran was relieved. He wouldn't be jealous blindly. Nobody knew Emma like he did. Their bond was special.
"If he bothers you, you must tell me," Haoran said. "His father works for Lee Industries. I can get rid of him if necessary."
Emma smiled at Haoran's words. "I know. He doesn't bother me. If there's anything, I'll let you know."
"Thank you." Haoran nodded in satisfaction.
They continued their breakfast while discussing their tutoring activities later this afternoon. Since Emma enjoyed their time at sea so much, they decided to return to the land two hours before tutoring, so they had more time to enjoy their ship.

After breakfast and relaxing for a while, Haoran and Emma decided to swim. Emma had wanted to try out her power to control water, but Haoran advised her not to take risks because she was still exhausted.
"We still have next weekend if you want to try your powers, Emma," Haoran said. "We can come here every week. No need to rush. Now we should just have fun."
Emma finally agreed with Haoran's suggestion. They spent the whole afternoon relaxing on the deck, swimming in the sea, and having lunch. Both of them were very happy, they wished they didn't have to go back to the land.
At 3 pm, Haoran finally drove their ship back to the marina. At a little past four, they already arrived back at Lotus Garden and prepared to welcome the boys to study together.

DarkBoi69's mediocre, rushed and badly-written aventure
Follow DarkBoi69's edgy adventure as I move him through a shitty plot where he meets terribly-written characters like angry evil stupid villains and naive cute useless busty women. This story is not really an actual serious story but simply a writing exercise for me to focus on overall writing speed, forcefully insert some writing in my everyday life to increase productivity and most importantly help with turning ideas, thoughts or feelings into writing directly without feeling blocked, hopefully trying to achieve something as close as possible to writing unconsciously what i’m thinking about. I'll probably try to do something like writing as much in 30 mins as I can, nearly every-day. So far I've only done this once and it already seems like a pretty good thing to do. I don’t have anything planned and that’s probably going to be a constant for every one of these exercises, so it’ll end up being not very good (although maybe better than it has any right to be? ) and nonsensical.
