《Tremors Of Time: Spirit Gauntlet》Chapter 12 Two Hit KO

"I've finished the goal and killed 4 rabbits for their fur. Time to go," I said refilling my vibrations from the rabbit I looted. I start walking in the direction of town when I noticed how dark it was. "Guess I'll have to hurry up," I said, proceeding at a light jog so I could avoid the monsters that come out at night. I heard the wind shaking the leaves and rumbling through the bushes creating an eerie scene. Almost as if I was in a cliche movie, a monster appeared to stop my advancement back into town.
"Speak of the devil," I said, annoyance in my voice. I stopped running and got into the boxing position you see in movies. The monster was a brown wolf with red eyes (I'm half expecting it to be called devil wolf) "Wave Inspect," I whispered.
Corrupted Wolf Lv 8 rare
Description: A Wolf that got kicked out of the pack for myriad of reasons and was corrupted by its rage
Hostile: All
Skills: Bite {} Scratch {} Pounce
Build: Agility based
(I'm fucked) I rush at the wolf ready to defeat him, the Corrupted Wolf similarly rushed at me, jaws wide open. "Slow touch," I said, raising my fist. The wolf bit my arm, while I grabbed his maw with my other hand to inflict Slow Touch. The wolf opened his maw and got out of my grasp (luckily he's agility based or I would have died. The problem is If I can't slow it down I can't hit it).
The wolf rushed at me breaking my thoughts, this time attacking my legs. I looked for something I could use to give me range (Damn it there's nothing to use. The next attack that lands will kill me, there's gotta be something) I spotted a long but thin branch a few feet away (Bullseye). The wolf is almost on me, I started running to the branch. The corrupted wolf tried to pounce on me, but I slid barely out of his reach into the range of the branch. I picked up the branch next to me and prepared to fight.

"Now it's fair fucker, " I said, rushing at him again with my branch raised. The wolf similarly rushes at me claws its extended to full length. He closed into me at a frighteningly high speed (I gotta time this perfectly). He pounces on my chest maw open (Perfect). I jab my makeshift sword with as much strength as I can muster KKKGGRRSH. The branch durability is down to 0 and disappears. The wolf lays down dead with a hole in its head.
Level up
gained 2 attribute points
I kneel down and put my hand on him, "Absorb," I wait a while to regain my Vibration. I use loot after I finished absorbing. The wolf's body turned into light particles and left a wooden sword and fur in its disappearance, I put the loot in my inventory. (Finally, a weapon that took longer than it should have. I want to inspect it but I got to get going. I'll put sonar on to avoid monsters.) "Sonar" I could see clear as day there were no monsters in my immediate vicinity, "Better to be safe than sorry" now running in the direction of the Town I spawned.
I had many close encounters with some monsters but managed to evade them by going around them. In the solitary night, I could observe the breath taking scenery with Sonar. Lost myself in the view so much that I barely noticed that I was nearing The town.
When I get there I see the gates closing, "WAIT!" I screamed to the two guards closing.
"I'm guessing you wanted to get in right," said the guard with a mustache and beard.
"Ya," I said wearily Him and the other guard shared a look.
"Well we can't it's time to close but I don't know if my pockets were heavy maybe we could trip and accidentally let you in," said the guard with a scar on his chin. (I have to bribe them, first the wolf now this)

"I don't have anything but a wolf fur."
"I'm sure you have something more than that," said the hair guard.
"I’m sure if someone hears this you'll get more than fired, "I said clenching my teeth.
"Fine, the fur," the scar guard growled.
"Good," I handed him wolf fur (I was gonna give it to Garcia to make armor but oh well).
I walk in the town ignoring the angry glares from the guard (Where is Garcia?). Not seeing her anywhere I decide to go in for a night. ‘Log Out'
Are you sure you want to Log Out

I tapped yes on the blue screen in front of me. I dispersed in white particles and woke up in my VR machine. "How did you like your time in Choices Online sir," Said Alis with a soothing voice
"It was quite an experience, to say the least," I said after thinking for a moment. "Alis, what time is it."
“It's currently 9:45 pm" (That explains why I'm not tired. He really wasn't lying about the time ratio, that's quite a long amount of time. Everybody must be rushing to Arron to get this Tech.)
I pushed open the VR machine and walked to the restroom beside my room. (It really doesn't seem like I just spent time killing monsters. Yup just as I thought It's gonna take a while for me to get used to this isn't it.)" Might as well go to subway see if they're open, wait no. They don't have 24/7 I'll go to the nearest gas station to get a f'real and I would die for a chocolate bar right now." I went downstairs got my keys and went in my car, turned the keys and the car revved up. "Wait should I go to Starbucks, Nah, today's not the day to wake up my inner white girl." I chuckled at my own joke. (I'm laughing at my own jokes what am I becoming.)
A few minutes later I'm in front of my tv watching a John Oliver rerun with the f'real smoothie in my hand and Chocolate bar in my mouth. After finishing the rerun I go to my room put the alarm for 5:00 am in the morning and go to sleep.
