"I don't know what happened between you before we met, but now we are on this together, so you better forget about all of that, at least till we leave this place." Dan added as he saw that the girl was still looking at Nero with unkind eyes.

"Where are we?" the girl turned her head toward Dan after hearing what he said.

"I'll tell you what we know soon but let us introduce each other's first, I'm Dan a high school English teacher, this here is Leonard a cab driver while this woman here is..." Dan introduced himself and Leonard, but as he turned his head to look at the woman he found that he hadn't asked about her name yet, which made him quite embarrassed.

"My name is Katherine and I'm a doctor" the woman said ater she saw Dan with a awkward expression on his face while looking at her.

"Cough cough... Yes and all of us are from the same world, I guess that you too are from the same world, right?" Dan coughed to hide his embarrassment before looking at the two and asking.

"Yes we too are from the same world, I'm Nero a new member of the twelfth Royal Guard squad, while this girl is just a thief's sister." Nero introduced himself proudly, but then he looked at the girl disdainfully.

"I'm Anie, and this is my brother Robin." Hearing what he said the girl looked at him coldly before saying that in her soft voice.

"Well now that we know each other I will tell you what we know about this place." Dan was able to feel the tense atmosphere between them, so he hurriedly said trying to turn their attention from each other.

"You see, the world that Leonard have memories of is this place, it's a world where dragons invaded the world and almost led humanity to the edge of extinction, I think that the dragon that appeared before is a good enough proof of what he said."

Dan was looking at Leonard as he said that so when the later heard what he said he didn't act suspicious in any way.

"But if we were brought here by this thie... I mean Robin, than than how did you come here?" Nero asked.

He was going to call Robin a thief but then knowing that by acting like that their chance of leaving will keep geting less and less, and that to leave they must act together and do their best for a chance to return to their worlds, he changed the way he was calling him.

"You might not know this but at first the three of you teleported to our world, and the three of you were unconscious, but then Robin woke up while Katherine was inspecting him, and seeing you covered in his blood I think that he thought you were injured, so he teleported again, and that's how we all get here." Dan thought for a while, before telling them what happened.

"Then you are saying that we already passed by three worlds." Nero said.

"Yeah for you three."

"Then are we on a different world or is this place linked to our own world "

"I don't really know but I have some theories." Dan answered Nero's question hesitatingly.

"First let me ask you a few questions, before those weird memories appeared in your mind did your world suffer from an earthquake."

"Yes, that did happened."

"Then did everyone loss consciousness while those earthquakes happened, and after awakening they found themselves with weird memories but no one was able to explain their source"

"Yes that did happened, I guess that that happened in your world too huh?"

"Yes it did." after saying that Dan fall into silence as if he was thinking about something deeply.

After thinking for a while and giving a long breath Dan looked at Nero and the girl and then said with a serious expression:

"I'm going to be honest with you right now; I just lied to you."

Hearing that Nero lifted his eyebrow as he said:

"Really?" his face didn't show anything as he said that.

"Yes, Leonard isn't the one that have memories about the dragon's world, it's me."

"But you said you have memories about our world did you lie about that too." The girl, Anie, asked.

"No I didn't, you see while other people only have memories about one world for me I have memories of several."

"How many worlds do you remember exactly?"

"Twenty-one worlds including our original world."

"Can I ask you why did you change your mind and to tell us about this." everyone stayed silent after hearing the number of world that he remembered, till Anie broke the silence by asking him that.

"Only because after thinking about it again, I found that the only way to make you believe what I'm going to say is for you to know this, and I realized that this lie won't last long, so instead of losing your trust when that happens, I decided to just tell you now and put it as a show of goodwill." he said honestly.

That was he truth as he know that in their journey something might happen in a split second, and he will be the one to react the fastest, and not Leonard, which will expose him soon enough.

That, and how after realizing that to survive he will need others, made him say the truth.

"Ok then tell us is this another world or is it linked to ours." Nero said, his face didn't show anything, as he decided to judge if what Dan said was true or not, after hearing an answer for his question.

"Yes first let me tell you about some weird things I noticed before I talk about something in my memories l.

"Now if you look at the time you will see that it has already been more than four hours since I woke up, but if you look at the place of the sun you will see that it has hardly moved, while in normal times it would have moved a considerable distance in the sky, and just so you know the time in all the worlds that I remember was the same, so this is the first point which I found weird."

"The other thing is that in a the memories of the other worlds there's a world with a scientific advancement way ahead of both of our worlds, in the memories of that world I was a scientist the memories are somehow blurry and all but I member that before dying in a car accident in that world I was studying a theory about parallel worlds" right here Dan stopped and told Nero and Anie about the multiverse and parallel worlds theory, after that he continued on saying:

"At first the memories weren't clear, so I wasn't able to notice something small like this, but then after teleporting to this place not only did the memories of this world became as clear as normal ones, but the others also got a little bit clearer, so I noticed this."

"What I remembered was that just before I died in that world, I found a proof of the existent of parallel worlds and what's more is that I found that they weren't stable, and I remember that on my way to share this with one of my friends I died on a car accident."

"Unstable? how is that?" Katherine said after hearing what Dan said.

"I don't really know, the memories aren't that clear that was the only thing I was able to clearly see." Dan said while smiling bitterly.

"So you are saying that both our worlds and this one are parallel worlds?" Nero asked.

"Yes, that's what I think."

"Than, is there a link between our world and this one, or is the only way out Robin's ability?" Nero didn't understand all what Dan said but he understood enough

Yet, he still wasn't able to decide if what he said was true or not, as most of what Dan said sounded unbelievable, just the existence of another world like his own was something unbelievable not to mention another 20.

"I don't know I think we shou..." Dan laughed and started speaking but then Nero entrapped him saying:

"I can feel humans they are a kilometers to our west, there are four of them what should we do"

"We better meet them, they lived here for years, and they must have a better place than this one to hide in." Dan said with a serious face as soon as he understood what Nero said.

He thought for a while and then added:

"Your ability is something like a detector can you tell me its range"

"My ability is that I have a sensitive nose, the range is five km with me as the center, and if I smell someone or something, I can hunt it by following its smell, no matter how far it gets I will be able to find him as long as there's still a trace of his or her smell."

If it was before and someone he had just met asked him about his ability, Nero would have just ignored him or her, but he know that there was a reason why Dan asked him that, and that he won't be able to hide it from them as long as they stay together so he said that honestly.

"And how fast did it take that dragon to make it here after you detected it"

"Two minutes or so" understanding what he wanted to know, he answered intently.

"Ok we will move toward them, this place isn't safe, Nero, keep your ability activated at all time no matter what you feel tell, us as soon as possible." after that Dan looked at Leonard and said:

"Us two will take turns moving Robin, you start, Katherine you help Anie she have a weak body just lend her your shoulder."

Seeing that no one said anything and Leonard holding Robin, while Anie stood up and Katherine moved next to her, he took a deep breath and said:

"We will move that way first, there's dragon dropping there, so we will go there and cover ourselves with it to hide our smell from them after that we will go to where the four humans are." saying that he started moving.

The others looked at each other and followed him, staying together.

The dragon dropping wasn't far away and they made it there a short while later.

Leonard hesitated for a bit, but then after he saw Nero covering himself without any signs of hesitation, he gritted his teeth put Robin down and started covering himself.

Seeing this Katherine showed a miserable expression as she started covering herself, but she didn't vomit as Leonard thought.

Anie also covered herself as Dan didn't really touch her but more like just dropped it on her as there were some places where he couldn't touch, thinking about this she throw a look at him and found that he was looking around him seriously while covering himself.

After he finished Dan looked around and waited for them to finish, after they finished he asked from Nero to lead the way.

Nero didn't oppose him, as that was one of his specialties anyway.

One kilometer wasn't a long distant, but with their speed being slowed down by the unconscious Robin, and the weak Anie, it took them way longer than normal.

The group of four that Nero detected was also moving, but after they all discussed about it they decided to go to the place where they appeared from as there was a high chance that their base was there and that they were going to return there in the end anyway.
