Knowing that their base was there, Dan looked at Nero, Leonard, and Randy seeing them nod at him he took a deep breath and shouted at them:

"Hey, can you please wait?"

The four were shocked one of them even jumped in his place.

After that they turned their heads toward the voice's direction, and they saw seven people walking toward them, five men and to women, even though the dragon dropping covering them, they were actually pretty clean.

"Who are you? and what do you want?" a big man with a body full of scares said.

"We are new to this place, when you left here before, we saw you so we decided to wait here and talk with you after you return." Dan and the other had already thought about what to say beforehand.

"New to this place? Which part of the city are you from? What gang did you belong to?" the scared man asked.

He didn't find it weird that they were from another part of the city, as there werr many people who got tired of their gangs way of doing things, or they just wanted to join a bigger and stronger gang.

And their gang, the one eyed dragon gang being the biggest gang on the city was the first choice for many groups, but...

"You better leave." after taking a good look at them, the scared man didn't even wait for Dan to answer his question as he asked from them to leave.

Dan and the others showed surprised expressions on their faces, they didn't expect to get driven away before even entering the base.

Not to mention Dan and he's group, even the pther natives with the big middle aged man showed surprised expressions.

"Can you please tell me why you asked from us to leave?" calming himself, Dan asked.

The scared man didn't answer him directly instead he started looking at Katherine and Anie with no signs of politeness.

Seeing that the other three men hid them behind their backs before looking at him with unkind expressions.

The scared man didn't become angry but he smiled and said:

"Your group won't survive for long in our gang, there's a high chance that you three are going to be ordered around, doing dangerous tasks which will eventually will lead to your deaths, that wounded friend of yours is going to die for sure, as for those two girls they seem beautiful, so I think you know what their fates are going to be, from how you are treating them I think you won't accept that, so it will be better for you if you just leave."

Dan and the others looked at each other, not knowing what to say, the scared man words seemed harsh and all, but they understood that he said that for their own good.

"Thank you for what you said, but can you at least answer this question of mine?" Dan asked him after a while of silence.

"Go ahead." the scared man said.

"When will the Great Migration start, and how long will it take."

"The great migration? ...How can you not know that? Anyway, it is supposed to happen this month, and usually it will take about fifteen days, but that's not a fixed duration, it can be longer or shorter no one know." even though the scared man found the question somehow weird as everyone, even little children know about the time of the great migration, he still answered him.

Hearing that Dan frowned his brows, but he soon returned to normal and said to the scared man:

"Thank you we will be leaving I wish we meet again, oh yeah my name is Dan and you?"

"You can call me old Frank, be careful." After that old Frank turned around and started moving toward the building, with the other three following him.

"Hey boss, why did you do that? the one eyed dragon would have rewarded us if we brought him those two girls." the cowardly looking man asked old Frank after seeing that they were far away from Dan and his group.

"Don't ask, lets hurry and return, you know that the dragons are more active before the days of the great migration." old Frank didn't answer him instead he patted him on the back while shaking his head.

But when no one was looking, he turned his head and looked at Dan's group that was leaving, his eyes stayed on Anie's back for a while before sighing and turning his head.

"Dan what's the Great Migration?" Randy asked Dan after they were far away from the old Frank and the other three.

"Each year dragons would migrate toward the southeast where they would mate, and lay their eggs before returning, which leaves humanity a short window, where they live safely with no dragons."

"Why did you ask them about that?" Nero said, even though his time with Dan was short, he found that the man never did things with no reason.

Dan turned his head toward Randy and asked him:

"Do you think that your country will send people to see if anyone of you is still alive?"

"The chances of that are small, after all from ten 1MWS not even one returned so this place will become one of the dangerous zones of the world, beside there are another 23 areas and maybe they are going to meet other situations like this one, so even if they do come to see if anyone of us lived, it's going to take a while and let us not mention if they are going to find me here." Randy smiled bitterly as he said.

Dan thought for a while and then he started drawing a map of our world.

"Can you tell me where are we, approximately I mean."

"We are here, just a few hundred meters from the ocean, and don't worry I'm sure of this, I took a last look at the map before I ejected the cockpit." Randy pointed at a place on the western side of America.

"Fortunately we are still somehow lucky, say do you want to leave this place? I mean this area, going to another area with no dragons." Seeing the place that Randy pointed, Dan released a breath of relief and turned his head, looked at everyone around him before asking them a question that made their heart race.

"Are you for real? of course we want, if there's a way out who will want to live in this hall." Katherine was the first to talk, what she saw in that one day was enough to drive her crazy so many times, if not for the existence of the others with her she would have turned crazy ages ago.

The other didn't say anything but they still showed pleasant surprise on their faces while looking at Dan waiting for what he was going to say:

"I have a way to leave this place, it's just that we don't have a lot of time and we are short on hands."

"Not a lot of time? do you mean that you want us to act daring the great migration?" Nero asked.

"Yes, if we want to leave this place without having to worry about dragons then the great migration is our only hope " Dan nodded his head as he explained.

"But we will need a ship to leave as the only way out is by the ocean, and here come the other problem, we don't have one."

"That means that we only have two options..." Randy murmured to himself in a voice everyone was able to hear.

"Yes, either build a ship or ask the natives if there's one, and in both cases we will need the natives, in the first option we will need them to help us building it, as we can't build a ship good enough to cross the ocean just on our own, and if this option is the one that we should go with then we will also need to wait for one of the next few Great Migration.

"In the second option, the ship will be theirs and they won't let us use it simply so in either ways we will need a group of natives so..." Dan didn't finish his words but Randy Nero and Anie understood what he meant, Leonard had a promotion on his heart but he wasn't sure, Katherine on the other hand didn't understand him so she asked:

"So? So what?"

"What Dan meant is that we should take control of a group of native as that will be the best course of action." Randy said.

"Yes that what I meant, and that's why I started explaining all of this here, just tens of meters away from the base of those people, so if you approve of this we should act fast as we don't have a lot of time, and if not then our only option is to live here our whole lives or wait for someone coming to search for Randy."

"What is it that you are you still thinking about? we need to start working in order to leave this place." Nero was the first talk, and his words were directed toward the other five.

"I'm in" Randy said.

"Me too, I'm in." Leonard clenched his hands before saying resolutely.

Anie looked at her brother and said:

"Ok, we'll join you."

Katherine was the last one and seeing every one looking at her she said with a flustered voice:

"Ok, I'll join you too."

"Everyone agreed, good, so will this base be the one." Dan asked.

"Yes, it is close to the ocean, that's first and second we can't waste our time by searching for other bases." Randy said.

"I agree with what he said, and I also think that it's going to be better if we can take it in one full swap without wasting any time..."

Dan and his friends didn't know that as they were playing how to get the base, the cowardly looking man was standing in front of a normal looking man, the man had a patch on his left eye giving his normal looking face a harsh feeling, he was the one eyed dragon.

"You wanted to meet me?" the man said, his voice was gentle and soft but it made the cowardly looking man pale.

"Yes sir, when we were returning from fishing, we met a group of seven people five men, one of them was wounded, and two beautiful women, they wanted to join us but old Frank told them it would be better if they left as our gang wasn't good for them." the cowardly looking man said hurriedly.

"Beautiful woman…" the one eyed dragon murmured to himself with a cold light on his eye, he had become uninterested in the women he had ages ago, but unfortunately no new arrivals in the last half year caught his eye so he just accepted what he had.

But now, hearing what the cowardly looking man said he couldn't stop himself from thinking about how boring his women had become.

"Yes sir, one of them was just in her late teens while the other is in her mid-twenties, and I'm sure that if they got some clean clothes and take a few baths they won't lose to any of your woman."

"Tell old Frank that if he can't being me those two women he shouldn't return, you and Patrick go with him in case he decides to run." the one eyed dragon said.

Patrick was the one eyed dragon's right hand man, and he was also quite strong in the whole gang he only lost to the one eyed dragon.

"Ok sir I'll do that right now." the cowardly looking man smiled as he said that.

He knew that what old Frank did would anger the one eyed dragon, especially when it involved beautiful women, as everyone in the gang was able to see that the leader hadn't been so found of his women in the last few months, so he took advantage of that and told him about it.

He did that for a chance to take old Frank's position as one of the leaders of the food searching team, it was just a simple promotion from a member to a leader, but it still meant a lot for him.
