Dan was going to ask from Robert to stay as he wanted to ask him more things about the ships, but before he even finished dismissing the others, a great boom was heard followed by a defying roar, which turned everyone's faces pale.

Dan turned his head toward Nero the later shook his head, they were underground he wasn't able to smell what's outside, so he didn't know what was happening.

Soon after those sound were heard a hurried footsteps were heard, before the man who was on the gate when they first entered appeared the room as he said:

"Sir two dragons passed above us while fighting, the... The..."

"The great migration is starting soon..." Dan finished his words for him.

Dragons rarely fought against each other, but before one or two week of the great migration they start fighting for the females, after that they would migrate to the southeast, both females and males.

Turning his head to Nero, Dan said:

"After those dragons leave take someone with you, and go to being Anie and Robin, we at most have two weeks." after that he looked at everyone in the room and said:

"As I said, Robert and old Frank you two stay here while everyone else please leaves."

After everyone left the room Dan said to Robert:

"You said the ships are in good shape.

"

"Yes sir they are. We take care of them carefully, you don't really need to worry about anything." Robert said.

"A great shape you said... Then can you tell me how many people those ships hold, and how fast can they move, and what does they use to move." Dan murmured to himself for a bit before throwing a chain of questions at Robert.

Robert was somehow surprised when he heard all those question being asked, but he soon returned to his sense as he said:

"Each ship have a limit of 30 person, 45 if we really push it, so that make it 90 when you combine them, and of course the ships are sailboat which means that they move by the power of the wind, so their speed also depends on that, on good days, when our luck is good and the wind is right, the speed can go up to 9 knots while in bad days when there's no wind we have to use oars then we can get a speed of 4 knots or so."

"And how far do you think they can stay in the sea, what I mean is... Let's say are they durable enough to pass an ocean."

"W... Well, theoretically it is possible I think." Robert said with an uncomfortable feeling.

He found Dan's questions unsettling, as of they were hinting to something, but he still answered by giving his professional opinion.

"Ok you can leave now." after a long period of silence, which made Robert uncomfortable. Dan finally said that.

Paying his farewell, Robert left the room leaving only Randy Leonard old Frank and Dan.

"They are kind of slow." finally Dan broke the silence by saying.

"Yes I know, if we moved at the average speed of 9 knots for 15 days we would have moved just a little less than 6000 km." Randy said.

"That distance is nothing for a dragon, you were chased by one I think that you understand clearly how fast they can go." Dan shook his head while sighting, before adding:

"And that's not our only problem, didn't you think that even though we now have three ships, the crowmen in this gang aren't even enough to move one, and I somehow feel that the other gang leaders won't let us take their ships and crewmen, after all they aren't like us, they don't know for sure that the would had changed, maybe they aren't going to believe us we also need to think about that, don't you think... Sigh we really don't have a lot of time."

Leonard and Randy stayed silent! they knew that they really didn't have a lot of time, and instead they had a lot of problems that they needed to be dealt with.

"Don't worry about all of that, let us wait for Nero to return with Robin and Anie, and for Katherine to wake up before we talk about this again." Randy said while patting Dan's shoulder.

Dan nodded his head and said:

"Right we had all gone through a lot in those last few days, let's return and rest for a while... Wait, old Frank is there a way to contact the other gang leaders who have the rest of the crewmen?"

"Yes we can send a runner to deliver what you want." old Frank said.

"Runner? What's that?" Dan asked.

"They are fast and stealthy people, each gang has them, they run from gang to gang to deliver messages and other things." old Frank explained.

"But wouldn't carrier pigeon be better."

Dan asked in puzzlement, using pigeon would have been easier and safer.

"Well they were used, but sometimes when dragons pass by the air those pigeons would become afraid and they would ran to who knows where, and they are rare now, so runners are used more frequently those days."

"So that's it. Then can you please call a runner for me."

"Ok, I'll do I'll be back."

Soon after, old Frank returned with a young man on his side, he was skinny and long, and he was camouflaged from head to toe, surprisingly he was Barry, he met old Frank on the hallway, and when he heard that Dan wanted a runner he hurriedly changed and came, even with old Frank's trying to stop him he didn't listen instead he moved toward the room where Dan was ahead of him, giving old Frank no choice but to follow him.

"Here's Barry he's one of the best runners in our gang and he's trustworthy, so whatever you ask of hin to do, he will do it with no delay." old Frank said.

"Ok, I trust those who you chose, listen well Barry, I want you to go to each gang which have a crewmen of one of the three ships, and tell their leaders that the one eyed dragon's gang leader had changed, and that all the old blood power users are died and tell them to... Watch the sky closely, if they ask you what does that mean just say that if they do what I said they would understand, get it?" Dan said with a serious expression.

"Ok, I remembered it all." Barry answered with a serious voice and expression of his own.

"Good if you do that, we all might have a chance" Dan added, but he didn't explain what he meant.

"I'll do my best." Barry nodded his head and left the room.

He really didn't understand the meaning of what Dan said at the end, but he was still going to do his best.

Dan kept on staring at Barry's back for a while before sigh and saying:

"We did our best, now let's rest, after all we have some tiring days ahead of us."

Dan's words left all the gang leaders who Barry met speechless; they couldn't believe that all the blood power users were died, especially the one eyed dragon as he was the strongest blood power user in the city.

They also found the words about looking at the sky weird, but as they watched it they found that the sun was moving way too slow, leaving them panicking and afraid about the meaning of that.

Barry also was able to notice that, which made him move even faster as he found staying outside with such a weird phenomena happening frightening, and he also wandered about the reason why Dan asked him to tell that to the other gang leaders about that, the ones with the ships crewmen nonetheless.

Three hours later he returned to the base and asked for a meeting with Dan.

Dan has just awakened from his little nape when he was told that Barry wanted to meet him.

"So how did it go?" after welcoming Barry's return, Dan asked him.

"I was able to meet all the leaders, and I told them what you asked me to." Barry answered respectfully.

"Good, now you can go and rest." Dan nodded his head as he said that, he already did his best, and that was considered a good first step, later when he meet will them face to face he will have to make them believe his words, that will be the real problem.

Barry nodded his head and left the room.

After that, Anie and Robin came and talked with him for a while, they mainly asked him about what happened to them and how they finished the blood power users.

After talking for a while, Leonard Randy Nero and Katherine entered the room

The room where they were, was the one which the one eyed dragon used as the room where he dealt with the gangs affairs.

"Katherine, how are you feeling?" Dan asked Katherine when he saw her enter.

She was somehow pale faced and was trying her best to stay away from the others.

As Dan asked her, Anie also tried to pat her shoulder, her relationship with Katherine was good, after all, she did took care of her and her brother, giving Anie quite a good impression of her.

"Don't! Stay away from me." Katherine shouted as she took a few steps back when she saw Anie wanting to touch her.

Anie showed a surprised expression she didn't understand why Katherine acted that way, she was going to ask her what was wrong when she heard Dan's calm voice:

"Anie sit down, and you Katherine, don't worry you won't be able to control it in the first few days but that will change soon."

"You... You know what's happening to me?" Katherine asked with a hopeful look.

When she woke up she found that the last thing she remembered was the one eyed dragon trying to hit her, at that moment she felt as if she was going to die, but suddenly she felt as if something cracked inside of her as if a dam was destroyed and through all her body something was moving.

After that everything turned black and she fainted.

When she woke up again she was in a room sleeping peacefully, she stood and tried to open the door but just as she touched the doorknob she saw sparks as if electricity was passing through it.

She hurriedly moved her hand and looked at it, but she didn't see anything weird, but looking at the wooden doorknob again it had become charcoal.

She didn't understand what was happening, and she absentmindedly tried to touch a wooden chair next to her.

What happened was the same. As soon as her hand touched it l, it became just a piece of charcoal, her face turned pale and she didn't know what was happening to her.

With a beating heart, she touched the place where the lock was and just as she expected the whole lock melted and fall to the ground.

She pushed the door open and started moving aimlessly till she met Nero and the others.

She wanted to ask them about what was happening to her but Nero stopped her from talking and said that she will understand everything when they meet Dan, so she followed them.

When She saw Anie walking toward her wanting to touch her she was afraid as to what might happen to her if even wood and metal had that kind of fate after she touched them, she didn't know if she was going to harm Anie, but she wasn't going to take any risks.

"Yeah... After all it was because of me somehow" Dan answered hesitatingly.

"What do you mean?" Katherine asked, she had quite a bit of trust in him, and she didn't think he would do anything to hurt her.
