"Ok than." Dan nodded and then turned his head to Leonard.

Leonard understood that he had to make his choice, so he thought for a while before saying:

"I'm with you in this, but I don't know if I can be of any help to you."

"That will change if your ability awaken" Dan said.

"Really? Is there a way for me it awaken faster?" Leonard asked.

"I think, but we might need to use a drop of dragon blood, along with the body tempering technique." Dan said uncertainly.

"You mean using one of the drops left?" Nero asked.

"Yes there are three drops left." Dan nodded.

"I accept it, after all if we fight the dragon we will have more than a drop of blood." Nero said.

"What about you Katherine, what do you think?" Dan turned his head to Katherine who kept silent till then.

"I'm in." that was all what Katherine said.

For some reason since her ability awoke she started feeling restless, as if deep inside her she was wishing to use the power she gained, a need to release it all and see how it will do, and after watching those two dragons fighting, that feeling or urge got even stronger.

"Ok, so we will wait for the Great Migration to start before attacking it, is that all right with you?" Dan nodded his head before asking.

All of them nodded.

"Let's enter now, tonight after dinner we will think about a plan."

They then returned to the base and just as they did, they met old Frank who heard that they were there.

"What happened? why are you here?" Old Frank asked, he was walking in the base when he found that Dan and the others were outside, and that had to happen while dragons were fighting, which made him hurry there in panic, he knew that he wouldn't change anything but he wanted to be there.

Dan moved next to him patted him on the shoulder and said:

"Don't worry, but can you call Barry to the meeting room for me?"

Soon Barry and old Frank entered the meeting room:

Seeing them enter, Dan turned his head looked at Randy and said:

"Hey Randy in your emergency kit are there any binoculars or things like that?"

"Yeah, I have one of those, why did you ask" Randy answered.

"Good we will need it." Dan nodded then he turned his head to Barry and said while smiling:

"Now before talking about anything else, Barry I have a mission to you but it is somehow dangerous."

Seeing how Barry didn't say anything but just kept on looking at him resolutely he added:

"You see I want you to spend the next few days outside the base, I want you to keep an eye on an injured dragon that is around ten km from here, can you do that?"

Old Frank's face paled after hearing Dan's words, Barry was as a son for him so hearing Dan asking him to stay out of the base in the days right before the great migration, the most dangerous days of the year, made him worry.

Barry's expression on the other hand didn't change much as he only showed surprise for a brief second before returning to normal and nodding.

Dan didn't really want to send Barry outside, as the best option for a job like that was Nero, unfortunately Nero had other things to do.

The first thing was training Katherine and Leonard who was going to join them if his ability awoke, as even though because blood baths Katherine was able to have better control on her ability, she still wasn't able to control it well when it leaves her body, it was such a waste for such a strong power like hers to only got activated by touch, as that would be a big hindrance.

So he could only ask from Barry to do that, as he was trustworthy and seemed to be in good terms with old Frank.

"Old Frank you don't have to worry, the dragon that I want him to keep an eye on is injured, and Randy will give him a binocular so he won't need to get close."

Old Frank calmed down a bit when he heard that, the he looked at Barry and said:

"Do you really want to do it?"

"Yes I will" Barry said.

"Sir Dan, can I ask you why you want to keep an eye on this dragon? You said that it is injured, and it is far away from us so I'm sure it won't be of danger to us right?" Seeing the expression on Barry's face when he answered him old Frank understood that he had already made his mind so he turned his head to Dan and asked him, he wanted to understand the reason behind Dan's behavior.

"Ok I'll tell you, but you must keep it a secret. You see after the Great Migration starts, me and the others will try hunting it." Dan said that calmly but in the ears of those two his words sounded louder than the roar of a dragon.

Dan decided to tell them because after he asked around and kept an eye on those two for a few days he found that they were really trustworthy.

Staying frozen for a while because of Dan's words, old Frank and Barry finally woke up from shock and shouted almost at the same time:

"That's insane."

"Is that for real?"

Old Frank face showed fear and horror, while Barry's face showed surprise and excitement.

"Listen to me sir Dan, going against a dragon even if its injured is suicide you should reconsider, even the strongest blood power user in the city, the one eyed dragon never had such a thought, I know that you might have found some dragon blood and are now blood power users yourselves, but a dragon isn't something a human can go against." Old Frank said.

He tried his best to change Dan's mind, as from where he saw, it he was just going to kill himself and the others.

"Don't worry old Frank we know what we can and can't do best, and we absolutely won't overestimate ourselves, or underestimate a dragon." After he said that, Dan he turned to Randy and said:

"Randy, go give the binocular to Barry."

"Ok, let's move boy." Randy nodded his head called Barry and left, with the later following behind him.

Old Frank tried to change Dan's mind a little more but he wasn't able to do so, Dan just smiled and told him that they understood what they were doing, making him sigh and leave the room dejectedly.

Soon after Barry too left the underground base, he was camouflaged from head to toe just like the first time Dan saw him, except that he had a weird looking binocular on his belt.

he left the base after learning from Randy how to use the binocular, he never saw something like that in his life, for him that the binocular was a godly device not because he never saw one, but because he never saw one that clear and could show that far.

The binoculars was able to magnify thing from twenty km to seem clear for him, it was simply a masterpiece making him he fall in love with it as soon as he saw it and also making him wander about Dan and the others true identities.

He moved toward direction where Randy told him the dragon was for a while before stopping and using the binocular, he wanted to see the dragon and after that choose the best place for him to monitor it from.

It didn't take him long to find the dragon, because almost everything around it was destroyed leaving it in the open, after he saw where it was he started searching for high buildings in a reduce of two km.

He didn't need to search for long as he soon found one, it was easy to find buildings like that as even though dragons had took control of the world, for some reason they hated staying in the cities for long as most of their nests were in the woods or mountains.

He stealthy moved to that building and found a hidden place on it as he started his mission.

Time passed quickly in the underground base and without even noticing it, it was already dinner, and the gang was setting around the table.

They had dinner and then after finishing, they started looking at Dan waiting from him to talk.

"We shall now talk about what we should do when we fight the injured dragon, the first thing we should take advantage of is its inability to fly, if we can we will kill it using long range attacks without even getting closer, but that's almost impossible as we don't have any strong long ranged weapons or attacks for now, so we will try close range attacks along with some weak ranged ones, also we will depended on you Robin, you will be the one keeping us safe, if anyone of us found him/herself in a dangerous situation you should stop whatever you were doing and come to help them." Dan said.

"I understand." Robin nodded his head.

"We can also use your ability to give close range attacks, for example if Katherine won't be able to release her power without contact before the great migration starts, you will be teleporting and getting her as close as you can to the dragon while the others work on keeping its attention on them." Randy said.

"It's a good idea but Katherine won't need it, she probably will only need one or two days to release her power outside her body, making her a great long range fighter." Nero said in disagreement with Randy's words.

"Those are great words, you two really worked hard." Dan said happily.

"We did work hard but that wasn't the reason, you see this girl is simply too talented, she's learning way too fast." Nero said while sighing Katherine's speed of progress was simply way out of his expectations.

"I don't really know? For some reason it seem as if in some part of my mind I already have the ability to control my powers, as if it was always there but unnoticed or forgotten, but after my awakening it started surfacing making Nero's lessens way easier." Katherine said uncertainty.

"Well as expected from the purple empress... Say shouldn't we just start calling you that? It sounds way better then Katherine." Anie teased.

The other smiled at Any's words, then Nero said:

"But we can still use Randy's idea if Leonard awake his ability and he's not able to control it that well."

"Yeah we can do that, let's keep it as an option." Dan nodded.

After that they talked about some other things like some attacks and how Robin should come to help if the dragon shows even a sign of releasing a breath, they also mentioned how to make better use of their abilities like using metallic spears to hit the dragon as that would make the chance of Katherine's lightning hitting its target way bigger, and also for Leonard's fire to only attack injured places as dragons had strong resistance to fire.

With all that and more, they spent a long time in the meeting room before returning to their rooms to sleep even though it was sunny outside, fortunately they were underground and didn't have to deal with all of that.

Dan returned to his room got the a drop of the drop of dragon blood before heading to Leonard's room, he didn't forget how he still had to help him with his ability awakening.

Leonard was already waiting for Dan so as soon as he head a knock on the door he stood up and opened it, letting Dan in.

Dan didn't waste any time, just as he did with Robin, Nero and Randy he told him about all what he needed to know about the body tempering technique.
