Seeing that from afar, Dan smiled as he released a spear, he knew, even before they decided to fight the dragon, that the best way for them to treat each other as real teammates, a real family was for them to go through hardships together, to fight together, and it seemed from what he had just saw that he wasn't wrong.

After he threw that spear at the dragon, he changed his location before moving his hand to the holder on his back to get a spear, it was then that he noticed that all of them were used, he didn't know what to do at first, so he just turned his head and looked around him searching for anything to use as a weapon anything to throw at the dragon.

And the only thing that he saw was rocks, the only thing that the valley had.

He moved toward a big one that seemed as if it weighted around a hundred kg or so before lifting it and throwing it at the head of the dragon.

As the rock hit him the dragon's head swayed from one side to the other and the rock got destroyed to many pieces, showing just how much power was behind it.

Seeing that rock appear out of nowhere the others all looked at Dan not knowing what to say, but then Nero, released his last spear before he also lifted a rock and threw it at the dragon hitting it straight to the head.

Just like that they kept on shooting rocks and plasma bullets at the injured dragon, sometimes the dragon would release a breath in a 360° circle, but when that happened Robin would come to help, as he would always save the one who the dragon first released its breath at, before saving the others, while always leaving Leonard last.

The injured dragon's flame didn't hurt Leonard at all, actually no type of flame would hurt him, and so, whenever the dragon released his breath he would also catch its attention by standing in front of it and releasing streams of flame at it.

They kept on going like that for what was close to an hour, till finally Dan shouted at Robin:

"Robin, take us away from here."

Robin didn't say anything he nodded his head before teleporting to Dan's side and taking him to where Katherine was, then he returned and teleported Nero, Randy, and finally Leonard.

"This is taking too much time, we should find a way to deal with it fast enough." Dan said.

"Yeah we really need to deal with it in another way." Randy nodded.

"Did you think about something." Leonard asked while looking at Dan, he believed that Dan must have had a plan.

"Yes, but let me ask you, you two, how are your abilities can you use them." Dan nodded his head to Leonard question, but then he turned his head and asked Katherine and Robin.

"I'm good, my power isn't as strong as before, and I won't be able to release a strong discharge as the one before, but I still can put all my power in one single attack that would do considerable damage." Katherine was the first one to talk.

She really wanted to return to the fight again.

"And you?" Dan asked Robin after hearing Katherine's answer, he also knew that the one who put the most effort in that fight was Robin, but they still needed him for one last time, so he had to ask.

"I think that I can still teleport for a while, around ten times or so." Robin didn't answer right away, he thought about it for a while before answering.

That day was the day when he used his ability the most, he only was able to hold on for that long because his ability get stronger after the blood bath and the body tempering technique, if his ability was just as strong as it was before, he wouldn't have been able to hold on till then.

"Ok, that will be enough, Katherine you don't need to worry, even though your discharge won't be as strong as before, the dragon is also injured and it isn't as strong as before, its way weaker, so no need to worry, and you Robin, ten times or so is enough so don't worry, I don't need you to teleport a lot just five or six times so it will be enough." Dan said.

After that he told them about his plan, and three minutes later Dan and Robin appeared where the injured dragon was.

The dragon was in a horrible stat, its stomach was wounded from many places and blood was dripping from the wounds, its head had many injuries too, not to mention its blinded eyes, where one spear was still apparent from its left one, when Dan and Robin teleported there, it was just setting with no movement at all, and its head on the floor, but as it felt that they returned, it unsteadily tried to stand, and when it finally stood on its legs, it was shaking.

Robin just teleported Dan there before he teleported back and broth Katherine there, she also stood next to Dan.

Dan, Robin, and Katherine looked at the dragon which was standing in front of them, while the dragon, even though it was blind, was also looking at their direction.

Dan finally moved he looked at Katherine and nodded his head.

Katherine took a deep breath before lifting her hands and pointing them at the dragon, just as before the dragon felt something was going to happen when Katherine did that, but this time just like the first time, it couldn't deal with it.

In the first time it didn't have enough time to act while that time it didn't have enough power to act fast enough, even its breath got used, it was left with nothing at all.

Its wound from the fight with the other dragon before left it with many grave injuries, and after getting hit by Katherine's lightning for the first time, its injuries got worst, and new ones kept appearing, making it even weaker, and it also become blind, making it even more open for the groups attacks.

After that it got hit by many spears, and those rocks that were thrown at its head also made things worst.

So in the end it could only release a tragic roar full of pain and unwillingness, as it felt the dread in its heart get stronger and stronger.

It was then that Katherine released her lightning.

Just as she told Dan and the others, the discharge this time wasn't as strong as before, no in term of strength it was the same as before but it didn't last as long it only lasted for half a minute or so, not as long as when she released it for the first time.

But even though it only lasted for half a minute its power was enough to freeze the dragon in place.

Robin not wasting anytime teleported himself and Dan as soon as Katherine's discharge stopped, and when they appeared again they were on the head of the dragon, on its face exactly.

Dan didn't waste any time at all, and by collecting all his power in his hand he hit the spear which was still stock on its left eye.

The spear was around two meters and half long, and more than half of it was still outside the eye of the dragon.

Dan's hit drove the rest of the spear inside the eye, and because of the momentum that it got from the hit, it entered even deeper inside its eye till it finally reached its brain, killing it like that.

Of course, Robin and Dan didn't know if it was dead or not so they hurriedly teleported from its head to where Katherine was standing, it wasn't till then that they looked at the injured dragon.

They saw that it was still standing there motionless, which gave them a bit of hope that it was really died, as no matter what animal or thing it is, it wouldn't just stand there as if nothing happened if a spear was entirely pushed inside its eye.

They then looked at each other in confusion, they felt that the dragon was already died but they none of them was brave enough to get close to it and make sure.

While they were like that in confusion, the dragon which was away from them frozen, suddenly fall to the ground giving them s shock.

"We can't stay like this, we need to make sure if its dead or not." after the dragon fall down, and a few moments passed with none of them doing anything, Robin finally said that while scratching his head.

"I know but what should we do?" Dan said with a bitter smile, of course he knew that they had to deal with it fast but he didn't know how to make sure that the dragon was really died.

"Go bring Randy here, then will ask him to shoot it with his plasma gun, that will probably be the fastest way to make sure." Dan said after he thought about it for a while.

He knew that if it was really died they were just wasting their time but he didn't want to gamble as the chance of it being alive was just as big as the chance of it being died, except that what those two possibilities would lead to were different, and he didn't want to gamble with the lives of his team remembers.

Robin nodded his head and teleported to where Randy and the others were, except that he didn't teleport back instead they all walked to where the dragon was as he didn't have much power and he didn't want to waste any of it.

When they made it there the dragon was still on the ground, and there was no movement at all, Dan and Katherine were also on the same place where he has left them.

"So is it died?" Leonard asked after they made it there.

"We don't know, that's why we asked you to come." Katherine said while shaking her head.

"Randy, go on, shot it." Dan said to Randy while pointing at the dragon.

Randy nodded his head before aiming his gun at the some of the dragon's wounds and fired three shots.

The shots hit their target and there was no movement from the injured dragon at all, making the five of them release breaths of relief.

"So who should be the first one to touch it." Nero was the first to talk after the shots hit the dragon.

"Let us all go and take a look at it, the five of us together." Dan said after looking at all of them and seeing the eagerness on their eyes.

The others smiled and moved toward the dragon carefully.

The closer they got to it the faster their hearts beat, even though the dragon was already died and it was just lying there on the ground without moving at all, the pressure that it released was astonishing.

When They finally stood in front of it, they were finally able to see and feel how big a twenty meters body of a dragon really was, they couldn't even believe that they had killed it.

Dan lifted his hand and touched the dragon's head, feeling its cold scales and looking at his reflection on them, he got an indescribable feeling.

They all looked at it and felt it, it wasn't long before they decided that it was really died, hearing Dan say that, it finally hit them, it was died! The dragon was died! They killed it.

"Ooooohhhhhooo" Nero released that joy filed shout when Dan said that it was really died, showing just how important that was for him.
