《KillStreak》CHANGING A TIRE

I didn’t see the small pod falling, but boy did I hear it as it made its touchdown just over the bodies of my two most recent victims, neither of which had anything of use.
“That was fast.” I said as I approached the blue, thrumming, shoebox-sized pod, “Almost too fast.”
I’d gotten myself worked up over nothing though, the box’s little ‘FinnyBoi’ etching proving that beyond a doubt.
+Killstreak Tablet
I loved the tablets, their design, their interface, all of it, but as much as I wanted to start scrolling through it right then and there, I knew that I had to get somewhere safe first.
So, after slotting the tablet into my backpack with a disappointed sigh, I made a break for the gas station, keeping my eyes open for anyone who had heard the gunshots and thought to come looking.
I was in luck though, and managed to get to the gas station’s front counter without so much as getting a whiff of any players, before pulling out the tablet and going to work looking through the options that were available to me which, thanks to my low point count, wasn’t a whole lot.
The tires were pretty cheap at a mere five points apiece, but giving up points for something that could be found just about anywhere seemed like a waste.
Then, of course, there were the guns.
I couldn’t get any of the high-powered ones, which were all in the higher tiers, but I could potentially get a semi-decent scope and some ammo for what I already had.
It shouldn’t have been so difficult, I know, and I almost always ended getting toward the endgame without having spent a single one of my points, but, again, the situation was different.
What if a crappy scope was all that stood between me and death? And what if I ended up getting into some kind of tense firefight and spent the rest of what little ammo I had left?

“Don’t be stupid.” I said before putting the tablet back in my bag, “Play it smart, save your points.”
It was a hard decision to make, but as I pulled my SVD back over my shoulder and returned to the garage, I couldn’t help but feel like I’d made the right call, something that was only compounded by the fact that I’d realized I’d forgotten to check the front of the minibus throughout the firefight.
“Thank fuck for that…” I muttered with a smile as I pulled the dry, dirt-caked cover off the tire attached to the front of the bus, “This day just got a whole lot better.”
From there it was only a matter of time before I found a tire iron, a jack, and a few more lug nuts to replace the rusted ones, after which I went to work replacing the tire.
There were a lot of things I loved about KillStreak.
Changing tires was not one of them.
Sure, I’d appreciated the attention to detail when I’d first started playing, but after dozens of changes I eventually realized that I really just wanted to be able to hit a key, do a fancy little animation, and have a new tire.
+5 Points (60 Points)
With the minibus ready to roll, I climbed into the driver’s seat and turned the key that was, conveniently, in the ignition, before looking back up at the bodies in the middle of the road and having a thought.
It wasn’t a particularly appetizing thought, but it was definitely one that had the potential to be useful.
“Is it really desecration if you don’t damage the body?”
