《Lord of the Red Castle》Chapter 11 -Declaration

“Our world consists of 6 continents. The closest to each other is Etna, on which we are located, and the continent of Azia, which is just to the north of us. Outside of these six continents, there is an endless ocean.” The teacher interrupted his speech when he saw someone raising his hand.
“Yes, Doran”
“What do you mean when you say endless ocean?” ' asked Doran.
Doran had changed quite a bit in the past 4 years. He had almost reached his father's height of 6.3 feet. His body was quite muscular as he was constantly trained. He was struggling to fit in the desk in the classroom.
The teacher thought about how to explain the subject in his mind and began to speak.
“As a matter of fact, we don't know. The ships that left these six continents and entered the endless ocean came with some interesting information. For example, at a certain point, the color of the water changes from light blue to dark blue. And from that point on, big threats emerge.”
“How big,” Doran scrutinized.
“Only a Tier 9 sorcerer or cultivator could handle it. And before you ask, yes, there have been expeditions to this ocean before, but no one has returned.”
The teacher began to speak after surveying the class in front of him.
“We can talk more about this topic. But school ends early today because of the speech that Duke Albert will make. See you Monday."
Doran gathered his things and prepared to leave. Just then, Alex came along.
“Hey man what is your dad going to talk about”
"Didn't your father tell you?"
"No, I asked in the morning but he didn't say anything."
He didn't have many friends, as students at school were afraid of Doran because of his identity. But Alex wasn't exactly normal either. Alex's father was one of the generals at the head of the Vartica armies.

“If your father hasn't told you anything, how do you expect me to know,” she continued. But he couldn't quite hide his smile.
“I know you know, my friend, it will show up in a few hours anyway, come on, I won't tell anyone. Promise"
Doran eyed his back.
“I don't want to spoil the surprise. Just know it's a good thing." said.
Although this answer did not satisfy Alex, he could do nothing.
The two left the school gate. After saying goodbye, they started walking on separate roads..
The idea for school was one Doran presented to his father a few years ago. His father immediately accepted and put it into practice. Actually, Doran got this idea while wandering around the poor quarters of Ivarta. Free meals were distributed to school students every afternoon. Although these meals meant nothing to the rich, they were very important to poor families. In addition, many subjects were taught in school besides reading and writing. That's why Doran decided to join in to learn about them with his peers and make some friends.
As Doran walked towards the Red castle, he noticed the shadows behind him.
“You can come to me, Edward.”
After saying that, a man appeared next to him.
“You find us faster and faster, Young master.” said Edward.
Since Doran was constantly in School, his father had assigned Edward to protect Doran for these times.
“Did you spot anything strange in the city?” he asked. Today was the big day and nothing was supposed to go wrong.
“We have men all over Ivarta, it's okay at the moment.” said Edward.
Doran and Edward continued their conversation and came to the area where the Red Fort was located.
After Doran entered the castle, he went to his father's study. When he entered the room, he saw that the room was quite crowded.

Lord Albert and the Generals' speech had ended when Doran entered the room.
The 3 famous generals of Vartica were sitting in the armchair in the Room.
“General Werber, General Asmoth, General Durkin,” he said, and nodded.
When General Werbeer saw the doran he smiled and began to speak.
“What is my useless son doing?”
“We just parted on the road, and he was very curious about what my Father was going to say. But when I found out you didn't say it, I kept quiet too."
“Haha, let him wonder a little. Maybe he'll learn a lesson." said.
Other generals also listened to these conversations with smiles on their faces. They all knew each other and were good friends.
Lord Alberth rose from his seat.
"Since the armies have moved to guard the gate, let's go to the town square." he said to the generals.
He then returned to Doran.
“Doran, put on your formal attire, many people will see us for the first time, so we have to appear at our best. Also, keep an eye on your brother. It's like he's in the habit of disappearing."
Doran nodded and left the room. And he started walking towards his room to get ready.
--------------------
Ivarta's town square was more crowded than ever before. Everyone was focused on Duke Albert's speech. People of all ages flocked to the ivarta square to listen to the talk.
The stage set up in the northern corner of the square was guarded by the soldiers. In fact, the entire square was filled with city guards. Seeing the City guards, the thieves who wanted to steal during this massive opportunity had decided to reconsider the idea.
The crowd did not have to wait any longer. The soldiers cleared the way for Lord Albert and his Family. Lord Albert and the people behind him climbed the stage with the help of the ladder.
But it wasn't just Lord Albert and his family on the stage. The Generals of Varica, Maverick, and a few other high-ranking people were waiting on the stage behind Lord Albert.
“Citizens of Vartica, I have gathered you here today because I wanted to announce something. When I sat in the duchy seat ten years ago, I was saddened by the loss of my father and worried about the future of Vartica. But the people of Vartica quickly recovered from the wounds of this war. They changed the face of the dukedom again. Now we change the fate of Vartica once again. I no longer want to leave the fate of Vartica in the hands of any king. From this day forward and forever, the land of Vartica is free.”
When Lord Albert had finished what he had to say, the square fell into a deathly silence. No one knew what to say in the face of this sudden statement.
Then a Man who had come to listen to Lord Albert with his walking stick shouted. He had lost his son in the war 10 years ago. And what Duke said made him emotional.
“Long live the KINGDOM of Vartica.”
The people in the square began to repeat what the old man had said, as if poked with a stick.
“Long live the KINGDOM of Vartica.”
“Long live the KINGDOM of Vartica.”
