《Nurarihyon System in Another World》Chapter 39 Gate of Hell

The remaining members of the Black Demon Mercenaries remained on their knees with their heads kissing on the ground. They could clearly hear Hannya's footsteps, they could tell that he's walking towards them. Every time Hannya took his steps, everyone felt like their soul is being dragged from their body.
"Stay in that pose of submission and realize that your Death is absolute."
Bang! As if a gigantic hammer slammed into them, every single remnants of Black Demon Mercenary received the declaration of their death.
An ancient metallic gate suddenly appeared out of thin air, and it's presence supressed all living beings.
On the gate was a huge image of a Demon; It possessed two sharp bull-like horns, metallic eyes, and a leering mouth.
In a split instant, great amount of black-coloured mist covered the entire place. The ground started to violently shake and the profound beasts hidden in the forest all cried out, completely terrified.
The black-coloured mist rolled around the air like a venomous snake.
Everyone felt like Hannya just released an evil demon that had been sealed for a long time. It was as if it arrived at a place that it did not belong to.
That feeling should not exist in this world.
The appearance of the gate seems like the entrance of Hell. A creaking sound continously echoed from the gate frightening everyone out of their wits. As the gate opened, the wind began to blow and it seemed that temperature dropped by several degrees in the blink of an eye.
"Is this the true power of that young man? Why is it so different from before? Could it be..."
The eyes of Fang Baichuan flickered, he surprisingly discovered that the nature of Hannya's aura changed. If Hannya had an aura of demon before, at this moment, he seemed like a True Demon Lord. The most important thing was when Hannya summoned the ancient gate and the black-coloured mist Baichuan had a foreboding feeling; it's like the end of the world is near.

Cynical voices began to echo from the door, everyone felt like they were in front of the gates of hell; those voices were extremely frightening.
The wails of the dead echoed not long after. A few second later, several figures rushed from the gate; Screams of mercenaries echoed out as countless devilish souls and mutated devils emerged from the gates and attacked the mercenaries.
These cultivators didn't have any battle experience against this existence. They didn't know how to deal with the devilish souls. The mercenaries just bluntly waved their swords but all of it isn't effective. Their slashes would just pass through them, this souls on the other hand could touch grab them over so it could devour and chew their bodies.
Ordinary humans would have fainted because of fear if they saw this scene. On the other hand the group of mutated devils with chains restraining their waist, were dragging the bloody mercenaries back to the gate leaving a bloody line from their original location to the gates of hell.
"Help! Help! Help!"
"I don't want to die. Spare me!"
"Demon! You demon! You will pay for this crime!!!!"
The stenchy smell exuding from their bloody bodies made the mercenaries morally and psychologically pressured. Some of them who saw their comrades being dragged back to the gate tried to move but a huge amount of pressure rendered them rooted on the ground. Cries of despair, threats, submission, looks of regret; mixture of this emotion lingered in the air. In just a few minutes, the hundreds of Black Demon Mercenary has been removed from this world.
On the other hand, Hannya only stood where he was and did not care about that at all. The black-coloured smoke coiled around his body like a demonic beast while on Hannya's back there was large dark violet wings. He spread his wings; In the next second, he turned into a ray of light and flew towards the rear mountain.

When he dissappeared the mist vanished, there was no trace of the corpses; The destroyed battle ground had no signs of life, even the nearby grasses withered.
Everyone from the phoenix clan only focused their eyes on the dissappearing figure of Hannya, even though the gate has dissappeared along with the members of Black Demon Mercenaries the eerie aura still lingered in the air, no one dared to make any movements afraid that they would attract the attention of that demon.
After a few minutes Hannya arrived at the rear mountain region, He was faced with cliffs so tall their summits could not be seen. A huge sigil measuring several meters was embedded in the mountain wall in front of them. A beautiful red color emerged from the entire sigil, glowing bright and dark at times, as a pattern of numerous scarlet flames that fiercely burned, lay at the center of the sigil.
His lips curled into a smile and vanished only to appear in center of the sigil, the black-coloured smoke that was coiling in his body started to wiggle. After that, a gigantic black snake opened it's a humongous mouth.
Behind the snake head, black-coloured claws followed. They came down from the dark sky, and the pressure it carried seems like countless demons who clawed towards the sigil with their terrifying sharp claws from the depths of hell.
Swoosh!
Sensing the sudden powerful attack, the sigil produced a buzzing sound and a crimson barrier appeared. It's dazzling appearance produced a large amount of heat.
Buzzing sounded out from Hannya's body. His powerful Profound energy was rolling within while mixing with his 'fear'.
Bam…
The Gigantic Black Snake and the Crimson Barrier collided into each other and produced a loud explosion sound. The Dark Snake had destroyed some parts of the barrier, but at the same time, Hannya also suffered from a huge impact which forced him to fly backwards.
"It seems like my power is still not enough to completely destroy this thing. Now that's a great discovery." Hannya licked the blood flowing at the edge of his mouth. He looked like a beast who was enjoying it's prey before devouring it.
The huge explosion from the earlier collision caused the members to be startled and when they saw the smoke rising from the seal that they're supposed to protect Baichuan and the Phoenix Clansmen charged without delay.
That's right. The place that Hannya attacked was the place where sigil which seals the ruins; It is the sacred ground the phoenix left behind, and also where the divine spirit of the phoenix. The phoenix clan believed that If someone would go there, they would offend the divine spirit of the phoenix, and the sins that their clan committed will never be forgiven. Now, a man who suddenly appeared out of nowhere and caused a massacre now set his eyes on the sacred grounds.

People. Harmony. Dysfunction
[Hiatus]People are extraordinary. They are glorious, chaotic, imaginative, grim, all kinds of smart and driven. They are capable of living in harmony or incredible destruction. They can be both caring and loyal but vicious and self-centred. However, Olivia wished that the first year of her PhD didn't have to showcase quite so much of the melting pot. People. Harmony. Dysfunction. is a story that follows a research group through the drama and challenges life throws at them. It has an (unspecified) modern setting and focuses on the characters. I've tried to rate this pre-emptively, but unfortunately it might change as the story evolves.

DarkBoi69's mediocre, rushed and badly-written aventure
Follow DarkBoi69's edgy adventure as I move him through a shitty plot where he meets terribly-written characters like angry evil stupid villains and naive cute useless busty women. This story is not really an actual serious story but simply a writing exercise for me to focus on overall writing speed, forcefully insert some writing in my everyday life to increase productivity and most importantly help with turning ideas, thoughts or feelings into writing directly without feeling blocked, hopefully trying to achieve something as close as possible to writing unconsciously what i’m thinking about. I'll probably try to do something like writing as much in 30 mins as I can, nearly every-day. So far I've only done this once and it already seems like a pretty good thing to do. I don’t have anything planned and that’s probably going to be a constant for every one of these exercises, so it’ll end up being not very good (although maybe better than it has any right to be? ) and nonsensical.

Awakening
This story was previously known as "The Awakening".~*~"One... two... three... one... two... three... a million... is that number right?" A figure less voice echoed."Hello? Who's there?" She had seen too many horror movies and heard too many stories about that single word to overpass its meaning. The voice went quiet, yet she was still unable to see where it came from. She turned to the opposite side and found just the same."One... two... billions... but always back at one..." the voice resumed it's counting."Where are you?
