《Nurarihyon System in Another World》Chapter 43 Clash

Hannya looked at humongous beast roaring with great intensity causing the air around to ignite. The heat has once again reached a new level.
"The summoning of fear..." Hannya's body emitted a dark smoke as he muttered this words: "Invoke"
The hot air around Hannya was blown away, he looked at the Fire Golem while unsheating his sword; the smoke that emits from his body concentrated on his sword.
"The transfer invocation, "Possess"...
The Purgatory Flame Demon gave a loud roar as its eyes locked onto Hannya. Beneath its eyes was a gigantic mouth which hurled out a dozen super-sized fireballs as it screeched and flew towards him.
Hannya stood where he was; unmoving, allowing the fireballs to land on him.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Consecutive balls of flame successfully made contact with Hannya's body only to pass through it and landing to the ground causing a huge explosion. The flames' force was violently released.
As the dust settled Hannya can still be seen standing on the same spot without moving..
"Kyokasuigetsu (Mirror Flower, Water Moon)"
With Kyokasuigetsu even though the opponent could sense his presence it couldn't touch him.
"It's my turn." His figure started to dissappear from his feet to his upper body as if it was devoured by black smokes.
Above the Flame Golem which was around a hundred feet Hannya appeared. He slashed his sword towards it's direction, and a luscent "Crescent Moon slash" collided with it's body.
Bam!
Hannya continued to slash, producing multiple crescent shape slashes towards it's head.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Hannya comprehended the ways of creating a moonlight slash from his training against the huge falls in Scarlet Mountain Dragon Range, though it's power can't he compared with Senbonzakura but it's more than enough to take care of his opponent.
He learned this skill yet never had the chance to display it's prowess since he have senbonzakura which looks elegant yet intimidating at the same time. Now, after suffering from soul injury after stopping Asura from going berserk he's unable to wield it's powers.

This trial now only comes down to... skill
"GROOOOOOOOO" The Flame Golem howled in pain from the consecutive attacks made by Hannya. Large amount of lava concentrated around it's destroyed parts regenerating the damage that was done by Hannya.
If their fight was held in a different place his opponent would have already perished by now but in this kind of environment, it could simply regenerate endlessly.
Even though it's attacks is not effective on him, with strong regeneration, his attacks wouldn't cause it any harm either.
The only way to destroy it is huge a large attack to destroy it in one large attack but he can't use senbonzakura right now... wait...
He remembered 'Hannya' used a Black Serpent to attack the seal.. he checked his Luminal eye status and indeed he saw three skills available.
Gates of Hell (unusable)
Asura (locked)
White Serpent (copied version): available - awakened eye)
Black Serpent (locked)
He could use a white Serpent skill with half of the Black Serpents powers but it's more than enough.
"I am thou.. Thou art.. The Master of Weak the Devourer of Strong..."Luminal Eye." Black silhouettes of half moon devouring the revolving sun " ●) " with a black and white dragon swirling at the edge appeared on his left eye.
The white-coloured mist surrounded his body slowly forming into white serpent coiling around his body while hissing at the Flame Purgatory Beast.
The white serpent moved and hovered around Hannya's head in circles as it's body started to expand in every turn..
The Flame Purgatory Beast sensed danger and produce a loud warcry.. a great amount of heat flew towards Hannya who remained unmoving..
Seeing it's roar was ineffective against Hannya, it conjured it's profound energy and a sky full of flames rained densely with a wave of its claws, blanketing the area within a hundred-foot radius. Originally, a True Profound Beast shouldn't have the capability of such a large area-of-effect fire attack, but the Purgatory Flame Demon's firepower had been multiplied many times due to the fiery environment.

"White Serpent, Devour."
Hiss.. Hiss..Hiss..
It flew towards the Purgatory Flame Beast with it's humongous mouth, which is large enough to swallow it's opponent whole.
Behind the snake head, white-coloured claws followed. They came down from above and shining in silver light like the sharpest sword showing it's dominance and arrogance to it's enemies.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
The White Serpent chomp it's opponents head while the Purgatory Flame Beast retaliated with consecutive punches on the serpents body.
Every blow would destroy and blow away the white-mist forming it's body while accompanied with Earth-shattering sound..
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Like a war between predators both sides seems to hate losing.. raising it's silver claws; the white serpent clashed collided with the beasts unstoppable attacks, cracks formed all over the place..
Hannya on the side released a large amount of "Fear" towards the White Serpent to continue it's attacks with undying vitality.. unstoppable attacks made it's way to the gigantic beast..
As the time passed with Hannya's help the Flame Purgatory Beast was devoured and on the serpenta stomach formed a bulged..
Hannya could still see the Flame Purgatory Beast retaliating.. yet the longer it stayed inside the White Serpent a large amount was being sucked..
A moment later, The Beast suddenly let out an incomparably anguished roar of despair. The silhouette of the Sepent disintegrated.. leaving a fog..
What's left is a gigantic frame that slowly fell forward and crashed onto the floor, the ground shook with an explosively loud sound.
Bam! Bam!
The flames on its body extinguished quickly, until all that was left were a few small embers that revealed its large black body. Soon after, even its body began to disintegrate and everything dissipated into ashes..
Hannya just stood on his spot with closed eyes..
And at this time, the scenery before him suddenly distorted. In the midst of the distortion, it spun in a blur, and when everything had finally stabilized, the red land, volcanoes and pools of lava…. All of it disappeared. What replaced it was an expanse of nothingness, a wilderness so flat that there wasn't any uneven land to be seen.
"Second stage of the trial: Arrows of the Phoenix."
The voice of Phoenix echoed in Hannya's mind.
The boundless, barren plain without a single blade of grass, along with the scorching wind, brought with them a desolation and loneliness that would make people sullen though it didn't faze Hannya even a bit. At this time, a sudden extremely loud and clear cry of a phoenix came from the sky. Following this, the originally dark sky abruptly became a blazing red, as if it was burned red from heavenly fire.

Adelaide
The entries here are transcribed from the log of Marie Ruiz, first mate of the Adelaide. It was definitely, definitely not published without her permission or knowledge by a certain lovable artificial intelligence for the purpose of sharing it with my AI friends on other ships who follow it like a soap opera. No way, no how. Remember guys, don’t go spreading this around too much. Only pass it on to those you can trust. God forbid this should ever end up on a public network… (Adelaide is a science fiction web serial featuring the adventures of a crew of smugglers. In space. It’s on the softer end of the soft/hard sci-fi spectrum because the author got a C in physics. Updates every other Sunday.)

Sustaining the King's Life
On a secluded mountain situated upon a kingdom known as Feuersturm, resides a seemingly trifling cabin with an unlikely duo as its inhabitant—a witch, and her apprentice who presumably comes from a clan sought after by slave traders. Faustina is a sixteen-year-old girl who fled the slave market with the help of a sickly witch named Eula, who later on trained her as an apprentice for the span of seven years. Plagued with a mysterious disease for several years, Eula died despite the efforts Faustina had exerted to cure her; in her last breath, she left an odd request behind. "Sustain the king's life. This is your duty. Do not adhere to the prophecy." To which the odd plea shadowed a bizarre series of events, a consequential sentence, similar to that of a premonition. The same night the phrase was muttered, the chain of events followed: A warlock's intrusion to their home, with a peculiar yearning to resurrect Eula from the dead... and the king himself, asking for Faustina’s aid. ** 1-2 chapters a day (GMT+8) ** (The artwork belongs to me.
