"After such a long day, in the end I didn’t had any sleep." I yawn while casting my ice storm to the group of cursed gnoll. now that my level raised to 10, my movement is different from before. it's become more light.
I go back to the Academy after killing some more gnoll that night, enough to buy time for the people to escape from the city, not that I care what happen to them.
But in the end their number keep increasing without any sign of stopping. It’s coming from the deep of the place that people from this world called dungeon.
At first I was planning to investigate the dungeon. Honestly I was curious what make them to attack the city but my mana prevent me from doing so, it was a pity.
Their eyes, I know those eyes, it’s as if they are being controlled by someone or something. just like puppet, devoid of any emotion. Something big is going on here, thats the feeling I got.
As I get to the academy it's still morning, the sun yet to show it bare body. and it came to me that it's still not breakfast time yet. and so I slow down my walking pace. I made my way across the hall and saw many students walking towards the messhall which make the corridor become crowded.
"So this is the tradition of the academy.." I slip from the gap of the crowd.
After 10 minutes of walking, I got into line behind a boy with blond hair that look familiar, through a double doors into the Mess Hall. I had never even imagined such a strange and splendid place, it was not my first time here, but now it’s looked completely different place.
It was lit by 2.222 candles that were floating atop five long tables. Four of them is where many of the students were sitting, and chatting with each other while the last is for the teacher. New golden goblets and plates can be seen laid on the tables.

Headmaster led the first years up here, so that they came to a halt in a line. The hundreds of faces staring at the headmaster looked like pale lanterns in the flickering candlelight. He’s giving a speech about the new hall and severe punishment they will get if any of them would try and steal from this place again, I only listen halfway though. I looked to someone beside the headmaster, she’s a strange, and weird one.
She has a pointed hat on her head. This hat was patched and extremely dirty. If I were to become a headmaster, I wouldn't have let her to step in this place. After the long speech from headmaster we start to find our respective seat.
When I look at the table, my mouth fell open. The dishes in front of me were now piled with food. I had never seen so many on one table.
Baked Lobster, sandwich, honey bread, caramel Doughnut, cranberry, waffles, beef, chicken, pork, sausages, and steak. I piled my plate with steak and sandwich, It was quite delicious.
"That does look good," said the blond with depressed face, watching I chew my steak. Seeing that I gave no response, he try to get closer to me.
“Great food, isn't it?" the blond muttered to me.
"Well, isn’t it Barn, you looks lively." I said while chewing my steak.
“...”
Even though there were many foods on the table earlier, now there barely some left. I was going to ask Barn if he'd had any of the sandwich, but stop myself from doing so because I feels sleepy, perhaps I had eaten a bit too much.
"Oh, I'm so full." I swallow the last bite of my sandwich noisily, burped loudly for the entire Messhall to hear, and then wiped my mouth with the back of my hand before teleport myself to my room, leaving Barn alone with everyone in the hall looking at him.

"No! It's not me! I swear it!" shout Bern with slight red in his face.
In a room consist of only a bed, mirror and a dresser, a youth was in his bed. Next to the bed he was sleeping on, was a cloak hanging on the back of his new chair bought from Kingshill City.
That night I had a nightmare, the same as usual. I rolled over countless time and fell asleep again, and when I woke next day, I didn't remember the dream at all.
I opened my eyes, staring at the ceiling with sweat dripping all over my face. “To not even being able to grieve the lose of the woman you loved… if not a tragedy, what is it...” I look into the distance through the window, as if trying to recall something that I can’t even remember no matter how much I try.
I shifted my gaze to the floor, there is a blue envelope. I stretched out my hand to take the blue envelope, I pulled out the letter and after finish reading the content, the letter exploded like fireworks.
I mumbling “Interesting.” looking at my menu, it's display 1 pm. "After having breakfast in the messhall I only able to sleep for 4 hours.*sigh"
7th floor, Axelle’s laboratory
Axelle placed the weird looking thing on the cauldron, then crossed her arms while giving a troubled expression. Despite her being the teacher of Light Magic and Alchemy, due to her own personal interest, she likes to experiment in other weird things.
"It’s good that you remember your promise to come and visit me here.”
“Of course I remember, you even sent a letter to remind me that explode in my head.”
“fufu, one of my invention.”
“I just want to return your wand.”
“No need to rush, before the break is over, I want you to help me for a moment."
"You are already that busy with classes, and yet you have time to try an experiment?" while watching the back of Axelle, I sighed.
The personal laboratory of Axelle was stacked with all sorts of weird and smelly ingredients. Some is very rare, tiny plant and can be found in the rack. with wedge shaped leaves, which are glowing green. It also grows large flowers. These plants is huge in numbers. They have no real use for someone who not dabble in alchemy.
"It is not an experiment. Experiment may end in failure, but my creation is... fufu, please look forward to it." Without shifting her sight, her hands began stir the cauldron.
"So Axelle.. What are you trying to make?"
"Potion of Insanity"
"Judging by the names of the potion, it looks dangerous.”
"Fufu, you can't judge a book by its cover. It’s a very useful potion" Axelle covered her mouth and laughed.
“3 stalks of bitter parsley, 2 stalks of sprinkles talon, one liquid of spoiled slime, black moss, poisoned swamp snake and-”
"Axelle, Did you just say something?"
"Don't worry, I have cleared all the poison.”
“Poison?”
“Nothing, they are absolutely safe."
"That dangerous smile of yours is not convincing."
"Well, it doesn’t matter since the one to test the potion is you."
I took a step back in shock "Me?" then immeadiately teleport myself out of the room without even set my destination. I just hope I don’t endup in the woman restroom.
