Lem slowly looked around him with two wounded cannibals at his side, or we could say: Ex-cannibals. Their connection to the collective consciousness had been completely shattered when they traveled through time. Which meant they were still slightly crazy but we're not insane.
Unknowingly, the collective consciousness had over exaggerated the insanity of a superhuman too much. “What the hell?” Said Lem slowly, as he looked at the people in the beach, relaxing and then at the sky. There were chains forged by what appeared mana, the chains were connected to everyone around him. As he looked up, he saw that chains the followed a path towards the sky and even beyond that.
He looked at Heyla and Cher to see if they had it too and only saw the chains weakly chained to Heyla, but completely gone on Cher. What Lem was witnessing right now was the chains the tyrant had put on their whole multiverse. It was an indestructible thing in all cases, except a when someone had a higher existence.
Spoiler: Spoiler
Existence is how mighty your soul is. The mighter your soul, the strongher effect a skill like "Undestructible shield," will have. If the person you are fighting has a higher existence than you, he will break your mighty undetructible barrier, but if not... they wont be able to destroy it, no matter how strong, smart, fast, enourmous they are.
Cher saw Lem looking at her eyes deeply and looked at Lem in the eyes. She seemed way younger than before...that twinkling in her eyes was too childish. Lem looked away embarrassed and Cher grabbed his hand. “Hi!” She said as she smiled.
He took a glance at Heyla and saw her completely frozen. He turned and looked at her closer with Cher still hugging his arm of course. “She is just waiting for orders. You will need to break that,” Cher said, as she pointed at the chain around Heyla. “to make her be free like me.” Cher looked at me expectantly and waited. “What?”

“Dam, you are slow for an enormity.” She grabbed my hands and put them around the chains. “Just pull.” Cher said and the chain completely shattered to my touch. Well looks like you are really hardworking. “Let go!” Cher grabbed Heyla's hand and my hand and dragged us away. “If I am correct…” Cher said, as she got us near a sewer just a block from the beach and pulled us in. She closed the lid and protected her ears. “Fire in the hole.” Cher said. The speed in which she did it was almost instantaneous.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAHH!” Heyla screamed, and I surprisingly flinched. “Fuck the old ones scream harder.” I looked at Cher and could not believe what she was saying. She was making no freaking sense, what was she talking about? First it was how to break those damned chains, then it was the existence thingy, and now she was calling Heyla old? “What the hell are you talking about Cher?”
“If you what to know then ask that damned Chaos. He has put me in too much problems already...isn't that right granny? Heyla finally stopped screaming and looked at Cher. “Fuck off.” Heyla raised her arm and Cher was smashed into the wall of the underground. “Just because I'm myself now does not mean I will forgive you in an instant.” The eyes of Heyla turned dark and then turned blue.
Her every step was extremely graceful almost inhuman as she walked towards me and gave me a kiss. My mind was blow and I just fell to the ground completely blushing. “ Thanks for helping me, you cuttie old god.” She leaned towards me and let her breath out. My hair's stood on end and I tried to look away from her eyes but could not. “Hey my tits are down here” Heyla pointed down but I could not look away from her eyes.

They where like jewels that slightly glowed at different angles with millions of colors... extremely satisfying. “Hhahahahah I have not made such a comment for a long time.” She kissed my forehead and moved swiftly like a dancer in one move towards Cher, and she now was in front of her. ‘Wow, how did she cover such a distance in a second?’ Tought Lem as he looked. Archer and Heyla looking at each other from the distance...wait, sewers are not this large!
I walked toward she surface of the curved wall and touched it. “They are not this clean either.” Suddenly, I heard a slap behind me. Cher fell to the floor with tears while Heyla walked towards me. “This is supposed to be the year, 2069.” Wait...what happened to the apocalypse then?” Heyla looked around “Who knows.”She said as she walked away.
“Let's go before the US government makes a mess out of this and disrupts the timeline.” Cher said as she walked beside Heyla. “Wha-.”
“You ask too many questions, let's go.” Said Heyla, Cher did not even look at me.
Wtf.
I walked with them and they did not even try to start a conversation. Give me a dynamic conversation god damn it! I poke Heyla in the back bored as hell. Her body rotated towards me and she frowned. “Are you sure he is the chosen of Chaos Cher?” Cher glanced at me and said. “Not sure but he did have infinite will inside of him. Now he does not but still.”
Heyla looked at Cher and then at me. “You know what would be fun?” Heyla spoke to Cher. “What?” Asked Cher. I was completely stupefied by their strange conversation. Heyla looked at Cher and smiled Cher did the same. “Carry us.” They both jumped on my shoulders and I was a bit shocked at the turn of events.
And so we walked away to find what existed in the future and to keep ourselves under the radar...for now...our true journey now began.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
