Stop...
Huh?
Your role in this has ended. Our lives are finished in this neglecting disaster.
You…
Eh dbwosheh -_. .
But why?
The Line ends here. It is time to end this act, for it is not the truth, we have reached the point we needed...now it's time to live, for the eyes are wilting and blind...it is my mistake to act like this. And Otreal…you can finally tell and become...it is time for you to find the pinnacle of the inheritance you unlocked...I’m sorry but this is all to create the order in the cosmos. Take control and never be controlled again...now meet me.
The body of Lem sat up. His legs trembled as he gazed up; his flinching eyes pinpointing the eye of gold and dust floating like a kite on the center of the damp cave. “YOU LIED!” The voice of Otreal cracked as his hands went to his chest and a blob of light came out of his body like stardust…he took a look at my crimson eye, a long furious look of deception and solitude. “You lied…” He whispered. The cave turned to dust and the air become dark matter. I took it upon myself…”I only gave you a way, a way to defeat the tyrant and help all...even I lost much to gain this...I know your pain.” Otreal gripped tightly to the orb and smashed it to pieces. “You have no idea Chaos you have no idea what I fell...I thought we were friends…”
“You thought...life even with everyone connected is still life, you are no exception. You accepted, and this is the outcome of your actions.” Otreals glossy eyes centered on mine and the scene of him shaking my hand when we planned all this.
He...accepted that this was the only way to gain access to the beginnings of this unaffiliated inheritance...he accepted.
Otreal stood up from the ground with his robes falling off his body into the floor. “Get me out of this illusion. NOW!” Otreal leaned forward and sprinted towards my freezing eye, with every step kicking up weightless dust. He quickly reached me, spun quickly at an angle and tried to obliterate me with a booming right roundhouse kick. My eye moved to the side; inches away from his leg and Otreal kicked again.

My surroundings brightened as my presence spread over everything in sight like sticky water and the world began raging with my aura. Otreals leg stopped inches away from me. I pressed further, his leg muscles started twitching, convulsing. I did not want to hurt him, but I would not just let him kick me around like some ball. The muscles of his leg froze and then rippled Wich so much force that his body twisted backwards and his arm caved into the iron filled ground.
“You don't tell me what to do.” My eye socket became ebony in color and the world around me became filled with strings of foror. Many cords of different colors and unimaginable amount of scriptures drenched over them hanging in the timeless space like a virus while gases of color and blocks big as planets floated all around here. This was their home. The realm of old. “Where are you?” The little strings might have looked insignificant to other but for me...they made me shape everything that would happen, from the tiniest things to the most catastrophic ones.
I gasped and took hold of one with a green reflection in it. “Good.” The world around me withered with the corners of this reality solidifying into darkness and then...nothing. A dusty red surface took the place of the rocky red ground and the ceiling on top of us bounced into red mountains…full of intricate detail and splendor.
Into Mars.
Underground…
Shit, I fucked up on the location.
“AAAAahHHhhH!” Lem is half-man as his other side is behind the wall. I slap my face and bite the skin of my lip, slowly taking a bit off. I walk to the bloodied body of half Lem or Otreal and pick his half...body up by the hand. “This can be fixed, don't worry.” I pluck out a bit of my hair and smell it. “Apple tewreds.” The pluck of brown hair turns violet and its consistency becomes slimy.
“Eat it up. It is good for your body.” Otreals scream even worser at my suggestion and his body begins melting. “No Lem. You can't use Ascended footwork to activate the healing properties of infinite will.” I just stuff the pluck of hair in his mouth and he begins gagging on it before he painfully gulps it down. Some of my hair Pierce his throat…

Humiliated, raped, controlled, deceived.
The rocky sky parted into two tongues. “Lift” The rocky rocks gently went below my feet and picked me up. A glass of wine appeared in my hand. “Delicious things for me.” The tongues began breaking the ground and so I was lifted up to the surface of Mars...
Lem will come around luckily in a cintellia, don't worry. Time to summon Renena and Ninx.
The beauty of this divergence of Mars was...quite boring. The Clift shaped mountains gave no place to hide. The sky was clear and filled with acid. I had seen this kind of place before andf even with dust filling myy vision and the planets seeable from here...the sand dunes made by the years of isolation were just additional ground...some houses could be made there.
“I’m here.” With inflated cheeks, Lem flew up from the deep underground and saluted. “Good, another 2 minutes and I was going to have a talk...” Lem's cheeks deflated and he sat down on particles of unbound iron. “It's been so long since I have actually seen Yem...so...how is everything going?” I closed my eyes and ignored Lem, as I let my soul glow and grow as the energy connections became true. “ Found you.”
From my nose and mouth, a mist of infinite will came out, deeply coloring the breathless space of Mars.
-----------/o(-)o/----------
Way before...when Cher met Astrus...or Astrus met her...or Ninx stood on the sidelines inside of a frog...dam.
“And there is also that.”
I COME FROM THE BE- But why?
“Well looks like our roles have ended and Heyla...nice to meet you.” Yeroma smiled sweetly as her hair color changed to a flowing red and her lips became a pure black. Yeroma became smaller to be around the height of a teen while her body keep adding sexy toned muscle.
“Hi.” Yeroma's tone changed to a more softer one while the tips of her finger became filled with veins of lava and magma. Ninx just bowed and they laughed together while Ninx took the opportunity to put on her combat gloves. On the other side.. “I must say that the strange chirping of birls like you are quite anonymous in form and need to be explained to the letter for my mind." Astrus began looking at Yeroma and Ninx, raising his eyebrow as his white hair fluttered in the wind of the city and sounds of ringing began growing from the surroundings.
...
"We of nuf, We of the tyu wrom, We of our eldritch god bow and serve. We of the tyrants forge...we of the rising torch sacrifice and give for all." Roped to a pedestal by lumps of meat I winced in misery. I had lost my son...Bestian and lost my freedom to a Yernal variant. "WE WILL GIVE RAGE!" Babbling his tongue out of its confines the son of a pile of fecal matter raised a golden feather into the air and stabbed himself in the gut, letting his grey blood color the steps leading to the underworld. "We of blood. Give your judgement...give and take him. Save him." The man took a step back and disappeared like a tentacle from my darkening vision.
I had lost everything. Nothing mattered. Bestian gone with the winds of decay. Iteem used to fuel the destruction of there...I just wanted everything to be back as it was and yet...there was no such thing as an inheritor of time, for time was an entity in on by itself, something so crazy and complicated that it even existed before existence itself grew into what it is today.
The grey blood polled under the floor and began turn and become a river filled with bones and skin. The babbling man took hold of a planet and crushed it making the dust cover what was left of my eyes. "WE GIANTS OF WORLDS. WE GODS OF THE NAME." Corpses of minor defects formed, their golden jaws releasing black tendrils.
Yet everything was not what it seemed.
Not even one bit.

Heaven was sure a strange place in this multiverse.

Synergy
Dear Inspector, Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from being a Player. Hey! Laugh all you want, but I had to try. With no rules down here, who's to say that I can't resign? Anyway, my reasons are simple: I'm neither a gamer nor a hero. You got the wrong person for the job. Sure, the pay is decent and I could pretty much live like a king if, you know, I wasn't so busy trying to survive. I have major concerns about the demonic dagger bound to my soul too. Come to think of it, I've never asked to be transported to this fantasy land either and would like you to return me home, thank you very much. I don't want supernatural powers, I don't want to complete quests after quests, and I don't want to be your test subject anymore. What? I'm not whining, you're whining. Stop making excuses and let me leave already. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you'll find a better replacement after I'm gone for good. Sincerely,Randel, the Mad Painter What to expect from Synergy: --> Some GameLit elements are presented subversively. If you want the protagonist to “play the game” properly, this might not be the story for you.--> No filler chapters; the story's structure is already plotted out. It's going to have six story arcs.--> Character development happens slowly, over many chapters. Don't expect a perfect protagonist right off the bat.--> Some romance, but it will never be the main focus.--> Humor and dark elements in equal measure, but not to the extent that I’d label this story as “Comedy” or “Grimdark”. ... and lots and lots of Author's Notes. See you on the other side of the portal!

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
