Chapter 9 – Coabluff, City of Lights

The King, his children and all the knights kneel before me, and gave their respect.

King: “My apologize my God for making you wait, I know I’m not in the position for an excuse, but there was an accident that happened to the carriage”

In my mind * yeah right accidents always happened, maybe if a lightning bolt hits you right now that can be called an “accident” haha”

King: “Sorry for being rude, I’m King Gallio Caerellius, this two are my children, my son Mattius Caerellius and my daughter Olivia Caerellius.

The king was a 30 year old man, 2m tall has a brown hair and has a serious atmosphere around him, Mattius is only 9 has a chestnut colored hair and his daughter, Olivia was 6 years of age, like her brother she has a chestnut colored hair.

King: “My God, if I may ask, what brings you here to our simple city?”

“ahh, yes I was just here to visit, and take a closer look at this city, seems like the land are not that fertile?”

King: “Yes my God, the soil around the city became dried up, we don’t know the problem, but my conclusion was we might have offended the Celestial of Water Voslene, or the Celestial of Plants and Animals Yhhena.”

“You need to at least sacrifice the highest quality of crops that you have, and don’t over harvest the animals’ meat. Tell that to your people.”

After hearing that, the King ordered the guards to spread the words to the citizens.

King: “If you will permit me, let me invite to my small castle.”

“Yeah sure no problem”

King: “But there is one problem, my God. We don’t have a carriage with us, is it fine with you riding on a horse back to my castle?”

“Well let me just fix that problem”

With one snap of a finger, I, the twins, the king and his children are now in front of the castle.

“Problem Solved”

The king and his children were shocked with amazement.

“ehem, ehem”

King: “huh? Ah yes, sorry I was spacing out. If I may.”

The king led us to the gates of the castle, and the guards immediately opened it.

King: “Sorry if the castle doesn’t meet your expectations”

“No its fine, it’s quite nice and cozy I guess”

The king just smiles. Then he led us to a room with a huge round table with some of his most important royal subjects giving respect to us, he told his children to go to their rooms, and he ordered the servants to prepare a feast.

In the room we talked a lot about how the lands prosper, and it seemed like the people was glad to have a King like him. This city has a balanced of land, and water resources, being close to the sea is a good thing, but their having trouble fishing, because of the monster infested sea. That’s why most of all the people wanted to eat meat, and the price of the fish being rare, became food for those who can afford. (mostly nobles)

To help them a bit I secretly used my magic to cast a barrier at the nearby sea, so that dangerous monsters will not be that close to the shore, and they can fish freely.

After about 3 hour of none stop talking. He told me the story about his wife being killed by a monster, she and her children was taking a walk while a monster; a snake around 6 m in length attacked them, she was trying to protect her children, and pushed them out to safety. She told her son to run away to the city, and bring his sister along. The cute little girl was crying, and was so afraid she can’t even move. Her son was hesitant to run but thinking about how helpless he is to the monster, gathering all his courage he tried to run while pulling her sister, they were just 7 and 4 years old.

*S#*t the king just get emotional*

Until a made came in front of the door,

Maid: “My Lord, the feast is ready” then bows and leaves the room.

King: “ahh yes, the feast. My God I’m sure you’re tired of all the talking, if you may, let us have a feast.” *while removing the tears that was about to form on the sides of his eyes*

“Then lead the way” I replied.

We walked the hallway and went to the other room; sweet music can be heard from that room, when the King opened the door, a long table filled with different dish can be seen, meat, fruits and different kinds of cooked fishes. All the people kneeled and gave respect.

King: “LET THE FEAST BEGIN”*He shouted*

The King led us to a seat; to my right was Cassandra and Diana to my left. The Maids are serving us different dishes and all sorts of high quality alcoholic drinks. The feast was so merry; a lot of people were dancing and chatting. A lot of men were always looking to my sides, *sigh* that again.

When the party was over, I gave my thanks to the King, and give some baskets of candies to the young prince and princess. Before I teleport to The Floating Island of Eclipse, dazzling light was emitting from the ground then it rose to the sky and exploded like fireworks.

King: “Thank you my God. Today this city will be known as Coabluff, The City of Lights”

When I got to Eclipse some Celestials were present and gave their greetings. I stood up in front of Tagruer.

“Tagruer in 10 years of time prepare a war, for the humans”

Tagruer: “Yes my God, I’ll be sure to do the best of my job”

“Which city do you prefer my God?”

“Choose for me, you can do as you like, and for the city that you will choose give the leader a nice gift”

Tagruer: “As you wish my God” *bows down*

I then said my goodbyes, and teleported to Elysium with the twins. For a good background story of a fantasy game world. It should have wars and conflicts.
