《Farmer: The first》Temporary Housing 1

The day passed without any more incidents and the whole family was together . Jason and Veina, and also Besia's mother and grandmother were finally up at the treehouse after a lot of struggling. Fortunately the fox seemed to poses a skill to manipulate the tree the treehouse was on and created a couple of holes they use to climb up. This of course was only witnessed by Jason as it would only raise questions if it was also witnessed by others.
They took up most of the food out the tree, but the goat-like creatures that they had were just tied of it the base, hopping that something wouldn't attack them.
"So, is everyone comfortable?" said Jason with a smile while he wiped his dirty hands on his pants, 21st century manners a vauge thing at the moment.
"Yes, everything is fine, the food is also ready. " answered Veina who didn't seem so pleased. Her face was smiling , but her eyes were not . "Uhhh, brother , can I ask you something?"
"Yeah yeah, ask away, but don't take long as I'm starving. Hah, I can't remember the last time I was so excited to have a meal."
"Right..."said Veina as she thought for a second before she spoke what was on her mind. " Brother...do you like Besia?"
"Do I like her?" questioned Jason as he looked at his sister and frowned." Why do you ask?"
"Uhh, it's just that I saw you kissing her earlier today and.... ughh, I thought that you might have fallen for her."
Veina's word's made Jason frown even more as he remembered the talk with her after he returned from speaking with the elf for the first time.
" Is that why you insisted that we take them with us? Here I thought that you had grown fond of them." laughingly said Jason as he patted her head once and was about to do it again, but he stopped as he seemed to remember something and sighed.
"To answer your question; no I don't really like or dislike her , but having someone to rely in this situation is better than none. "

Jason suddenly clapped his hands startling Veina and gaining the attention of the other that were around the fire pit , with a big pot over it.
"Now let's eat something...."said Jason as he almost rushed over to them and sat down leaving Veina a little confused at what just happened, but slowly a smile crept up her face.
' So, he really doesn't like her.....' thought Veina as she also joined them on eating dinner.
The dinner wasn't the best he had, and the flavors were bold and the smells were appetizing, but most importantly, he was fucking hungry. He gobbled up the food in big bites, the day old bread wasn't good , but if he dipped it to n the sound that Fesia had made was the perfect combination.
"Haaaaaaaa....."Jason exhaled in happiness as he was stuffed, making the others look at him a little funnily.
"Hmph, no manners at all." said Besia's grandmother as she saw Jason stretch his body. She in fact had made several comments on his manners during the meal, but Jason didn't care at all and just enjoyed her grumpy face.
'Haaaah, the pleasure of not giving a shit about what others think, it's exhilarating.......and I now need to take a shit!
Man, Fesia's cooking is good, but it's as if it's cooked with laxatives and not normal ingredients.' thought Jason as he looked as Fesia who was also smiling at him.
"Ugh, thanks for the food, it was great." said Jason , but as soon as he said that he felt a pinch on his back. He chose to ignore it though as he didn't want to ruin the situation.
"Hehe, glad you liked it" smiled Fesia as she also finished her meal" If you'd like I can make you some more, no problem at all."
Jason was tempted for more , but his stomach was already full, so he had to decline."No no, you don't have to do that. That was enough....
Now if you will excuse me for a moment?"
After he said that he got up and was about to go take a shit a little further away from the treehouse, when Fesia motioned to Beisa with her eyes. Besia immediately understood what her mother ment and she also got up.

"I'll come with you. The forest is a dangerous place and I can stay watch as you finish your business." said she as confident as she could be, making Jason a little worried.
"Oh no, it's not necessary at all. I'll just be over there, not to far away....
"No, it's to dangerous! What if some monster attacks you while you....you know? " adamantly said Besia.
This made Jason think about her words for a while and finally he understood that what she was saying was right. He reluctantly agreed, not because he was shy of her seeing his hairy as, but because he was also horny .
' Fuck me....I really wanted to bust one out. Fuck, fuck fuck...' thought Jason as he became angrier and angrier, until he calmed down . He would have to wait till tomorrow to have some alone time as the sun was already beginning to set.
And so the two of them left to do their business, leaving Veina Fesia and Besia's grandmother sitting there. They didn't speak a word to each other as the fire crackled , but their emotions were clearly visible. Veina glanced Fesia with distrust, and Besia's grandmother looked as Veina with disgust. On the other hand Fesia looked calm in the outside, but inside she was gleaming with excitement.
"I'm going up..." said Veina as she didn't even acknowledge the two of them and got to the treehouse. She received a few glances from the grandmother, but she didn't give a shit what she thought.
.........
A little far from the treehouse, Jason was squatting and doing his business when he heard Besia's voice coming from behind the tree she was.
"I wanted to thank you for what you did for us. First you saved us from the undead and now you're sheltering us....
I truly thank you from my heart."
"Really? You are thanking me right now?" said Jason as he took a big dump, but wasn't angry at all, in fact he was amused." Well, it doesn't matter when, but you don't really have to thank me. Think of it as me repaying my favour."
"I guess so, but I still don't think that.....
"Don't think!" said Jason as he cut her words short." Right now is not the time for thanks and shouting victory. The situation is only going to get worse....
"What do you mean?" said Besia's as she clenched her fist. She wasn't stupid, she knew that the situation was more grave as it looked just because they were denied entry to the city.
"You can't repeat what I'm about to say to you to anyone, because if you do, you're most likely going to be killed for treason." said Jason in a stern voice as she continued his business. Is such a hilarious thing .
"Treason...... what is it? I need to know." said Besia as she perked her ears, and focused her attention.
"Are you sure?!" asked Jason a me more time to confirm her resolve and she answered.
"Yes....
"Fine then.
The situation is as such; the surrounding villages are most likely completely destroyed, it's residents killed. The city also seems to have been attacked in some way and it's closed for at least a week, so no one can enter inside. The roads are most likely also dangerous to travel , so going to another city is.....
Besia was a little taken aback by Jason's word's as he didn't seem to be serious, his words sounded as if he was describing the weather.
"Are you serious? You're not jocking are you?"
"No, unfortunately I'm not jocking. The Dark Church has made a move and now everyone is terrified, not knowing what to do."
"How do you know that? You were in the village the entire time." said Besia still not wanting to believe what Jason said, but she couldn't deny it either.
"Ughh....now is not a good time. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.......
Jason ripped a huge fart as he finally was relieved , leaving Besia wondering if he was really beeing serious. She decided she was going to question Veina later, but when she did, Veina just shook her head and didn't say anything.

Esper: Search for Power
Dan Martin has a good life. He's respected at his job, and enjoys his work. He is close to his family, and they love and support him. With engaging hobbies, relative financial security, and freedom to learn and pursue his interests, Dan is happy. So it's not particularly welcome when he's selected by an inscrutable and seemingly omnipotent System as a test subject. The downsides: All of this is insane and by any rational analysis he's gonna die. The upsides: Super powers, a cure for a physical disability that had limited him, and above all, so very much to learn (for as long as he can avoid dying). I am very much a beginner as an author, and any feedback or suggestions on how to improve would be deeply appreciated. Chapter releases should be daily for the first two weeks and sporadic after that as I use up my buffer. Please consider this work as a rough draft subject to revision and/or retcon. It is not only my first attempt at original story telling, but at world building and RPG style system design. The latter has been very difficult, even drawing on the brilliant work of many RPGs and LitRPGs for inspiration. Thank you to any willing to give a new story and a new writer a try!

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
