《The Endless Boundary Between Dimensions》Arc 5 - The Restoration Period [Chapter 25: The Morning After.]

I woke up slowly, and tried to turn to get out of bed, only to find that both my arms were pinned under the two women I accompanied last night.
A quick look out the window revealed that the first rays of light were beginning to break the night sky, and I faintly heard a squeaking noise coming from outside.
Vanessa was breathing softly, her back turned to me and resting her head of luxurious platinum hair on my right arm.
On my left, Hazeel had a leg on top of my thigh, and was hugging me like a body pillow. Her breasts rested on my collarbone as she cradled my head, her sweet-smelling hair draped over my face.
I took a very long and deep breath for me to purge any desires out of my consciousness and focus on getting out of bed. I could have transported my way out, but I held no doubt that any shift of photons would wake up Vanessa, who was practically raised using the particles.
I slowly slid my right arm out from under Vanessa, being careful not to touch or run my hand over any place that might wake her up. She groaned at the disturbance, but simply rolled over to face me, still asleep.
I had to smile at the whole thing, with Vanessa being just as heavy of a sleeper as I remembered her being. Of course, that only left my left arm under Hazeel.
Her body was a bit more difficult to be freed from. Not only was she wrapped around me, but my hand had basically ended up under her thighs.
I sighed, and looked down to try and angle where my hand was going when Hazeel said, “Enjoying the view?”
I looked up into the wood elf’s eyes, and she brushed the silver hair out of her face before leaning in for a kiss.
I reciprocated, and a few passionate moments later, she released me. “Last night was fantastic! I can’t believe that I had never considered that type of sex before.”
As with her kiss, I reciprocated her smile and said, “I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. Hopefully that takes care of Vanessa’s overload for a while.”
“Speaking of which, Leo, my muscles have been hurting for a while. Can you give me a massage?”
I lay still for a moment, still processing what I just heard. “You mean that you didn’t want to have sex because you lost control of yourself yesterday?”
“Well, I did lose control… it just wasn’t caused by whatever overload you were referring to. I saw that Vanessa was going to get some action, and wanted in. You have to use me, I am your slave, after all. Master.”
The way she whispered that last part made my hairs stand on end, but I knew better than to argue with the good natured elf. “Ok then. We’ll give you that massage, but can we save it until after we’ve freshened up a bit? No offense, but my mouth feels a bit gross right now.”
She smiled wider and hugged me even more tightly. “What a coincidence, Leo. I was thinking the exact same thing.”

After a quick bathroom rotation, the three of us headed downstairs to get something to eat. Luckily for us, Kokoro had started making breakfast earlier in the morning.
As we filed down the stairs, the matronly woman met us with a knowing smile. “Fun night yesterday, kids? We heard you when you started. Sorry, the walls are kind of thin.”
I smiled at the slight embarrassment her statement brought me, which turned into a chuckle as I saw the blush on Vanessa’s cheeks. She hid behind my back, and clutched onto my shirt.
“Sorry for the noise.” Hazeel said, giving Kokoro a smile. “It was a necessary sacrifice.”
Kokoro raised an eyebrow, and I quickly cut in, “If you have another room available at an inn, or an empty building in the village, we’ll gladly get out of your hair. I can assure you that what happened last night wasn’t solely for pleasure.”
“Well, Vanessa’s wasn’t, anyway.” Hazeel grumbled, and I gave her a look that I hope conveyed the message, ‘shut up.’
Kokoro merely chuckled and said, “Oh gods no. I wouldn’t even think of something like that. I’ll stay with my sister. Both of you young couples… well, I guess in your case it would be a harem. You all are welcome to stay in this house throughout your stay in the village. I shall stay with my sister in her house.”
“I will say… Thank you for spurring Leresa and Rexir into action. I was afraid the two of them would never be so intimate before.”
When I gave her a questioning look, she merely gave me a pat on the shoulder and said, “I was afraid that Leresa would never get over her sense of duty as Rexir’s second in command, but you’ve been a positive influence on the two. Please make sure to check in on them and that they eat breakfast. If you need anything, please find me in the village.”
She left, leaving the three of us to eat breakfast in comfortable silence. Breakfast was a mix of this world’s version of rice, and some horse meat.
I looked over at Vanessa as we ate. I had noticed this earlier, but Vanessa carried an aversion to speaking to people in this world.
She had avoided all semblance of contact with Kokoro, and had only spoken to four people other than me since returning back to being a human. Only Hazeel, Leresa, Rexir, and Shar had been deemed as trustworthy enough to speak to.
Vanessa absentmindedly picked at her food, and I watched as Hazeel downed hers and started to look at Vanessa as well.
“Are you ok?” I finally asked, and Vanessa nearly jumped out of her seat. She looked at me first, and then over to Hazeel.
“Y-yeah, I’m fine. Why do you ask?” She finally put some food on her utensil, and started eating.
I noticed her avoiding looking me in the eyes, but I thought better than to ask her about why. Deciding to move on from that topic, I turned to Hazeel.

“Would you like to come get Leresa and Rexir with me? It’s already close to noon. I figured we might want to wake them up soon.”
Hazeel shook her head and smiled. “No thanks. I’ll spend some time with Vanessa down here. You can go get those two. Sounds good?”
I nodded and left the room, eager to have Hazeel try and help Vanessa sort through her feelings. I felt a little conflicted, as it used to be me that she came to for her problems, but I had to not let it get to me. Vanessa was a different person now, and I had to treat her that way.
“Alright. Please enjoy your breakfast then. Take your time.” I gave Vanessa the most reassuring smile I could muster as I left, hopeful that if not me, she’d open up to Hazeel at least.
---
The first thing I noticed as I entered Leresa and Rexir’s room was the smell. Of course, it was the same smell that had coated our own room last night.
I closed the door behind me and surveyed the room. Sheets were thrown everywhere, and it looks like a clothes bomb went off as well. Different articles of clothing were strewn about the room, and all trailed over to the bed.
I visually followed the clues and my eyes moved over to the large bed in the corner of the room. Although I was sure that Leresa was naked, with her face being the only thing I could see, the rest of her body was obscured by Rexir’s much larger frame.
I sighed as I mentally tried to wipe the image of Rexir’s ass from my mind. Now slightly annoyed, I picked up Rexir’s discarded top from the floor and flung it at his back. With a start, he got up and looked warily around the room.
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the foresight to turn around before throwing the object at him, and got a good look at naked Rexir. “I think you’re bigger than I am.” I said, half mockingly and half in real shock.
The former prince finally focused his eyes on me, and covered his lower body with a bedsheet that was on the floor, before having the mind to do the same for Leresa.
He looked at Leresa, wide-eyed, and then back to me. “Don’t ask me.” I said, answering the questioning look on his face. “If I had to guess, one of you has the same condition that Vanessa has. When she has overloaded photons, it increases her lust.”
Rexir’s eyes widened, causing me to grin. “I see you couldn’t hang on to your senses last night either. Why don’t you get cleaned up, wake up Leresa, and come downstairs for breakfast. Kokoro made a pretty good meal.”
He mimicked a sigh and shooed me towards the door. I obliged him, and went back downstairs to see if anything had changed in the time I was gone.
Vanessa had finished her meal, and was smiling while talking to Hazeel. I decided upon not intruding on their moment and instead left the house through the front door.
I had just closed the door and locked it, when I was knocked back a couple of inches as something bumped into me from behind, and fell onto the ground.
I turned to see a young boy looking on in horror, at the tray of pastries that he had dropped. “Are you ok?” I crouched down beside him and he looked up at me, tears in his eyes.
“I’m fine, but Ms. Kokoro ordered these half-dozen cookies to be delivered here for her guests! Oh, mom is gonna kill me!”
Seeing the boy freak out over something so trivial warmed my heart. It gave me a reminder that there was more to this world than the nobility and world leaders that I had interacted with since coming here.
I set a hand on his head, and picked up the tray with the remaining four cookies on top. “Don’t worry about it, I’ll let Ms. Kokoro know about what happened. You just finish delivering the rest. Okay?”
The boy nodded and picked up his tray, and succeeded in holding back his tears. I took my hand away, and stopped him before he started to walk towards the door.
“Before you go, can you tell me where Ms. Kokoro is? I need to ask her some questions.” The boy looked up in thought.
“Uhh… I think she’s visiting my mom at the bakery right now. That was the last place I saw her.”
“Wait… is she your aunt?” The boy smiled at me and nodded his head vigorously.
“Yeah! She’s my mom’s favorite sister. She started staying with us last night, although I don’t know why. But it’s always fun to see aunt Kokoro around.”
I took my hand out of his path and walked out into the village square, where I quickly saw a bakery sign. ‘Leo, where are you? A cute boy just brought over some sweets, and we thought about waiting for you to start.’
I smiled at Hazeel’s voice in my head, as I was still getting used to the feeling of having a second person linked to me like Vanessa was. I started walking towards the bakery before answering her.
I’m out in the town right now. I need to see Kokoro about a couple of things, so go ahead and eat without me.
‘If you say so.’ This time it was Vanessa’s voice that filled my head. I hadn’t realized that I had been projecting my thoughts to both of them. Well, at least I finally figured out something new to work on.
‘What’s so important that you need to visit Kokoro right now?’ I took a deep breath as I entered the bread shop, and came face-to-face with the village leader.
I need to secure a place to train. You didn’t think we were going to sit around and do nothing all day, did you?

Code Reader Kagami (LitRPG)
Sometimes things happen in this world that we are not in control of. Sometimes we are to a certain degree, and sometimes we are completely in control. However, this is a tale that constantly questions those boundaries. The story follows Kagami, a young programmer, as he winds up in a world almost alien to him. If it were up to him, he would have never visited this world and would rather stay raising his young daughter. Was it through his own actions that he had wound up here? Was it due to several combinations of factors? Or was it something he completely chose. These are questions that constantly haunt Kagami’s mind as he wanders this world and ponders his actions. Unfortunately, the glaring truth of it all refuses to ever look him in the eyes. Each night as he looks up at the night sky, he wonders if the end of this would turn out like the game he made. A tale of Guts and Glory… or would it turn out like he fears, a tale of blood and tears. Regardless of how it turns out, he will one day unveil the truth enshrouding it all. And perhaps in doing so, unveil the fate of his old world, enshrouded by mystery. ___________________________________________________________________________ While this is a typical Isekai started by the infamous truck-kun, the story is most definitely not what is to be taken at face value. I love making tragic twists into these types of stories. For Code Reader Kagami, you'll begin to see a descent into psychological madness. As your hero changes entirely from the moral man he initially was. If you're not a fan of dark aspect stories, this one is not for you. Thank you~
