《Netherwyrm god》50- Lin---Start of Book 4.

Currently, the world that contained the Omega and Alpha Prime realities was still in the pocket dimension inside Alwyn’s new heart. The Absolute Unity prime reality along with the multi-elemental prime reality that Devinn had created for his army, were both inside Devinn’s crystal.
The four were still preparing their journey as they sat not far from the Underworld Coffin.
“I can take care of the multicolored body that you have, but it’s only temporary. The moment you use all your elements, you will be back to looking like a multi-elemental.” Said Devinn as his third eye flashed with a gray light and Alpha and Alwyn retook their previous human-like appearance.
“And me?” Asked Kane as he looked at his dragon and Sword. All three were Multicolored as well.
“I was thinking that I could wish for you to have another body rather than walking around with a spirit body.” Devinn said.
The nearby Alpha nodded: “It could be helpful as you are more unique than I. A sword spirit who wields my legacy will attract unwanted attention right now as we investigate the whereabouts of my body.”
Devinn then wished for Kane to possess a human body.
Next was the Multicolored Netherwyrm Sword that was turned into a plain looking sword.
When it was the turn for the little dragon to gain a new body, it shook its head, refusing Devinn’s help.
Kane said: “The dragon wants to remain a sword spirit. It will cover for me.”
“Thanks to the dragon acting as a sword spirit, your other identity as the second sword spirit will be kept secret. The gods will just see you as the master of the sword...” Alpha said. He then turned to Devinn saying: “Turn the little dragon into a transparent color.”
Devinn wished it and the dragon soon looked as transparent as glass.
Alwyn was the first to address their current problem: “How are we going to protect ourselves if everytime we access our powers we turn into elementals? These bodies are only useful if we are walking around but I refuse to believe that trouble will not come our way.”

Alpha answered: “In this world, the only power levels are the tiers one can reach by fusing different power sources. As you already know, being a God is turning your element into a power source. Imagine how many power sources exist if there are millions of gods.”
“What we must do is only use a few of our power sources. Or just one. But if we do, our bodies will have to react as we are elementals.” Alpha then looked to Kane saying: “That’s where you come in. We need you to craft treasure keys from your Nethewyrm sword. Objects that can access the Netherwyrm sword’s multi-elemental power.” He continued:
“Kane is the only one immune to the body change since he is an object and a spirit. He can use the Sword without attracting attention. Devinn is also a special human thanks to his arcane energy and bloodline. Compared to me and Alwyn, you can both choose to use a single element and they will see you as humans.”
Kane took his sword in one hand and chipped two fragments that remained floating before him.
The sword repaired itself as Kane asked : “What would you like the fragments to look like?”
“Make two rings.” Alpha said.
Kane then willed the fragments of his sword to take the form of two plain rings that Alwyn and Alpha wore.
“Now. To hide our identities, we must choose an element that we will use to fight. In this world, humans can only gain insights into one element. We must not show that we can control more than one....I choose the time element.” Alpha said.
“Space for me.” Alwyn said.
Kane said: “Space for me as well.”
Devinn said: “I’ll choose the light element for now.”
“Good...time to meet an old friend of mine.” Alpha said as he teleported all four of them.
In a beautiful endless garden, a woman in her twenties could be seen watering the plants.

A scene that left you wordless if you attempted to describe it.
It seemed that the very plants around her vibrated at the same as frequency as her. They also released her abundant aura of life.
A ripple was seen through space as a group of four appeared a hundred meters above the garden.
Alwyn said: “Why do I feel like these plants are actually more dangerous than her?”
“Because what you see is merely an illusion. Her true body is the main root of the garden. She cultivates life energy that derives from the wood element. ”Alpha said.
The woman stopped watering the plants and then looked upwards.
Minutes later, millions of women wearing the same green attire arrived and encircled the four.
Kane asked: “What now?”
“Thanks to me you get to live today...” Alpha said before he screamed out: “Line. It’s me.” His scream was as soft as a murmur.
Alwyn muttered: “What do you mean we get to live today? You brought us here.”
“Al?” A voice filled with uncertainty was heard from all the millions of women.
The women then dissipated into green motes of lights than fused with the atmosphere.
The whole planet and everything it contained dissipated into green motes of lights as well.
Where the core of the planet would have been, a woman in a green dress was seen looking at the four with a perplexed look.
She said: “This scent...It should be you but why two of you... How did you survive? Are you perhaps his clone?...”
“I died..Lin...and yes this is my clone...but him..”As he pointed at Alwyn: “He is my inheritor.”
She had not moved at all from where she stood. Tears ran down her cheeks. She said: “I...missed you...All this time...”
Alpha’s Netherwyrm ring flashed. He found himself next to Lin.
They kissed.
Alwyn thought: “This guy spent an eternity madly planning a revenge when his girlfriend thought he was dead?”
Lin then said: “Your daughter. She is safe. She lives with your parents now.”
“What happened while I was gone?” Alpha asked.
“They refined your body into a weapon. The one to wield it first was the Origin god until he was killed and replaced by his son, Darius, who now goes by the title: Elemental Origin god.” Lin said. She continued: “When Darius found out that you had a daughter, he wanted to use her to create the elemental bloodline for himself and create another weapon out of her. It was her luck that she took after me and was born human. He left her alive, but keeps a constant watch over her. He must’ve thought that you had found a way to create a clone before you died.”
“I used my heart to create a clone, yes...that’s must be what they thought when they found that my heart was missing.” Said Alpha as he grew mad and regretful by the minute.
If he died for good, his human daughter and family would have been safe. He never would’ve thought that his mad desire for life and the resentment he felt when being killed would result in him putting his loved ones in danger.
Everything was forced upon him and his family when all they wanted was to live in peace.
“What are you planning to do right now?” Line asked.
“Kill King Darius and get that weapon back....But first, before I start a war with him, I must make sure that my family is safe...Let’s go see our daughter...” Alpha said.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
