An unknown amount of time has passed since Jotol told Vel to hide.
“Jotol when are you coming back” Vel said in a hoarse voice from crying.
“The servants of light should be gone maybe I should go looking for him” Vel thought as he pushed open door but what greeted him was something he would never forget.
The workshop was burned to the ground like the rest of the building or left in ruins as he looked around but what scared Vel the most was all the bodies of the townsfolk who were stack into a pile in the center of town. But what broke Vel was the body that was hung up above them as it belonged to Jotol.
“Why does this happen to me” Vel collapse to the ground in anger and sadness with bloody tears to running down his face.
‘Is it because I’m not strong enough or is someone out to kill me’ Vel thought in self-blame as anyone he ever cared for is now dead.
‘Maybe Leigh will have an answered’ Vel thought as if hoping for light in the dark tunnel.
“I don’t have the answered you looking for” Leigh said when he saw Vel appearance.
“Why don’t you. you’re supposed to know everything” Vel shout in anger after he heard this.
“I’m not the all knowing but what are you going to do about it” Leigh said trying to calm Vel down.
“I’m going to kill all those servants of light every single one of them” Vel said in a voice that would give devil chills.
“How are you going to reach that goal, are you going to walk right into their base and blow them up” Leigh asks.
“I’m going to train and kill them one by one to show them what true evil is causing them to run in fright every time they hear a rumor of me” Vel said finally calming down and thinking.

“Leigh is their anyway to train faster” Vel asks wanting to take revenge as quick as possible.
“There are but there are more negative than positive with such methods” Leigh said slowly.
“What are these methods” Vel demanded.
“I refuse to tell you as training step by step is what makes you truly strong” Leigh said.
“But at the pace, I’m training at they’re going to be dead before I get my chance” Vel said.
“If you’re that impatient it going to slow down the training which also means twice the effort but half the reward” Leigh said as he sits on a chair.
“So what your suggestion to move on with training” Vel asks.
“Why don’t you head towards the capital and do what training as” Leigh said causing confusion to show up on Vel face.
“Why the capital where they have the highest security” Vel can’t help but asks.
“Think Vel that where nobles live and rich merchants but don’t it mean more targets to assassinate which also mean faster training speeds” Leigh said staring at him.
“It a three-month trip to the capital but if I train along the way it could be longer” Vel said.
“Mission 3: Go to the capital and join the assassin guild, Time limit: 4 months”
“Fine to the capital” Vel said.
-Time Skip-
A boy who looks to be around eight or nine could be seen riding on a wagon.
“Sean grab me a snack will you” the merchant asks as he directs the wagon.
“Give me a second” Vel says with a smile as he hops in back.
When Vel enters the back of the wagon he grabs some tough bread and some water but he adds a little extra.
“Here you go” He smiles as he hands the food over.

The merchants took drink of water before he realized something wrong.
“What did you do to me” He says while coughing up blood.
“Add little poison to the water” Vel said in a monotone voice.
“Why” the merchant says before he dies and collapses to the floor.
“Because I was paid to kill you” Vel says as he walked into the forest soon arriving at a cabin. Inside the cabin two figures could be seen, one young girl and one old woman.
“The job is done now the payment” Vel asks the old woman.
“Here” she said tossing him three gold coins.
“You might want to bury her soon before she stinks the place up” Vel says pointing at corpse of the young girl as he left.
“You are correct” the old woman says as she began tossing oil around the house and lighting it.
“So this is her choice after she got her revenge” Vel mumbled as he watches the cabin burn down.
“Host has gained 10 experiences”
“Show status”
Name: Vel
Assassin Title: Assassin God
Rank: Trainee
Experience: 90/100
“One more kill and I rank up” Vel said looking at his status.
“You're making nice progress and by your progress you should arrive in the capital in about a week" Leigh says looking at Vel who growing into a fine assassin.
"My goal is to rank up before reaching the city" Vel says.
"I wouldn't since you been killing all the way here and now there a trail of bodies leading toward the capital" Leigh warns since Vel been sloppy in this part.
"Very well" Vel says disappointed when he left but knows Leigh only wants him to be careful.

Savage Divinity
A modern man finds himself reincarnated in the body of a young slave with no skills and quickly fading memories. Follow his journey to find normalcy while living in a savage world, filled with myth and legends, monsters and Demons. In a land where the strong rule, the weak serve, and bloodshed is a way of life, peace is a luxury few can afford. Author's note: Expect a chapter every tues/thurs/sun, unless I start writing faster. The story is eastern themed, but not Xianxia, no chasing immortality, MC is not OP. Less action, more character and world driven is my aim. Mature language and themes, but no raunchy sex. It's my first story, constructive criticism would be appreciated. Cast List Military Rankings Fanart Map Album Post Chapter pictures Discord Channel

It Sucks Being a Side Character
Beat the bad guy, save the day, get the girl. These are the three steps of success every good Hero strives for. But for Lee, those three things are an impossible bucket list. For a side character, there's no beating the bad guy, there's no saving the day, and there's definitely no getting the girl!As a side character in a typical Shonen story, all that awaits Lee is loss, cliches, filler arcs, and a whole lot of cheering the protagonist along from the sidelines. Can Lee change his destiny in a group full of walking tropes? Or will he be stuck watching from the sidelines? Only one thing is for sure, it sucks being a side character!
