Shao then slowly wanders off, away from the group. Whilst, at the same time, keeping at a safe distance, not so far away from the protective nest. So that he may not possibly get lost.
He has been trying his best to find smaller preys, that he could somehow easily kill with a single bite, to gain some experience points and level up.
On his way, he then unknowingly encountered a wandering pact of Sea Snails. Slithering around amongst the shallow ends and depths of sea waters, leaving behind them a trail of viscous yellow goo.
Shao slowly creeps up from behind the pact of Sea Snails, who was in the process of breaking down its prey with its strong gastro stomach acids, releasing outside its body, in order to break down and then digest the meal.
Utilizing the piercing strength of his bite, he bit into one of the Sea Snail's head and tore it off from its body. His mouth cutting through the soft gelatinous flesh of the Sea Snail. Killing forth the sea critter within seconds. Though the pain that it may have felt was quite short, nevertheless its death was the most painless, when compared to its other companions.
The other Sea Snail watches in horror as their brethren is slowly eaten away, right before their very eyes.
Retracting inside of their shells on instinct, waiting for their predators or hunters to leave.
Then the slight sense of saltiness assaulted Shao's mouth, with a bit of numbing pain occurring within his mouth. The bitterness of the acid stench saliva wants to make him throw up his meal, but he managed to somehow keep it down.

Having felt the bloodlust growing within him, as he was greatly dissatisfied with the taste of his meal. This sought of enraged him, leaving a bitter numbing pain within his mouth. Opening his mouth wide, he chomps on the dead Sea Snail's shell, shattering it into bits and eating it.

The taste of the Sea Snail's shell was indeed a lot better, rather than eating its slimy disgusting body, leaving behind a deep bitter aftertaste in his mouth.
Having felt satisfied with his luck, finding easy prey for level grinding. He starts to kill on the remainder of the Sea Snail pact, hidden withinside their shells.
They were all not able to withstand, the tremendous pressure of Shao's bite, therefore the shell collapsed and caved in, piercing the internal body and organs of the Sea Snails. Leaving behind fatal injuries, possibly leading to their death shortly afterward. If it is left not treated properly.

Shao was quite happy at the result of his hunt today, as he slowly begins to make his way back to the nest. His stomach filled up to the brim, with the meals of his recent hunt. Slowly, digesting and converting it into nutrients and sustenance for his bodies own growth.

His belly was now twice the normal size of what it once was. Even bigger than anyone in his family.
On his way back home, he spotted one of his much younger siblings, being attack by a predator twice her size. The thing is that said person is none other than Reya, Shao's younger sister.
And she is now struggling to fight back against the Sea Cricketeer, which is twice her length, towering above her with his large piercing claws.
Slashing wildly at her small figure with its large claws, leaving behind large scratch marks and dents in the outer shell, covering her body. She was definitely in pain, crying effortlessly for help, but no one came.
Shao was greatly angered at this spectacle. How dare this insignificant worthless insect, dared to attack his family member in broad daylight. Regardless of sort of attachment or feelings, he may have towards her.
Shao then rushes forward like a raging bull, slamming his large body on top of the Sea Cricketeer, causing it to be in great agony.

The impact was strong enough to daze the Sea Cricketeer, causing it to momentarily stutter, and stop its ongoing consecutive slashes at Reya. Using this chance, Shao uses bite on the neck of the Sea Cricketeer, crushing it out of shape.
Blood is spilled everywhere, slowly filling the Shao's mouth. As he continues to apply more pressure and begins to chew at it like it was his food.

Meanwhile, Reya just stood there still and quiet. Unmoving. Witnessing in awe at how strong and brave her older brother Shao is. Despite his quiet and antisocial behavior around others. He still cares for his family.
He is now dominating the competition, currently possessing an aura of indifference about him. Something that is not like Kaan's undoubtful arrogance.

Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)
