《Guns in another world》Departed Orbs

Pearl Lodge, in a luxury suite.
Fionn sat on the couch, sipping tea slowly.
All of a sudden, there was a knock at the door.
Fionn with a knowing smile, got up and opened the door.
Outside, a staff member was standing with a metal box in his hand.
"Sir, this was delivered to you by a member of the Moore family." said the staff member, handing Fionn the box.
"Thank you," Fionn said as he tipped the staff member and closed the door.
Alone inside the suite Fionn opened the box.
As the box opened a ghastly aura begin to permeate the surrounding, Fionn felt as if dozens of wraiths were screaming at his face.
Ignoring the queer sensation, Fionn took out a bead-sized orb from inside the box.
The orb was blackish green and gave off a ghastly glow.
Fionn grins contentedly and takes a pouch from his pocket, which also contained 5-6 Departed Orbs, Shannon had given him this pouch in the store.
Fionn emptied the contents of the pouch in the box.
Fionn was aware of Departed Orbs as a result of his extensive reading in Oliver's Study.
Departed Orbs were created within high-ranking Undead creatures, it serves as their energy sources, because they contained both their mana and resentment.
Anyone who kills such monsters can obtain a Departed Orb, but for the vast majority of Practitioners, it is useless and can even harm them.
Only Necromancers and Practitioners with a strong affinity for the death element can use it to cast curses or create cursed relics, However, they, too, can be harmed or even transformed into undead by the resentment in the Orb, if they are careless.
Even after such a bad reputation, people keep them (there are specialised containers for keeping them) in order to trade them with necromancers or other such entities.

Fionn first discovered that Departed Orbs are useful to him when he went to Shannon's store to advertise his abilities.
Shannon was conducting experiments in the store, that further involved the use of Departed Orbs, which was why the store was deserted.
Fionn felt unimaginable desire from his Sniper and Shotgun Avatars the moment his eyes were drawn to the Departed Orbs.
Fionn, unable to show off his awesomeness due to a lack of people and Shannon's busyness, helplessly asked if he could trade the Orbs for anything, which Shannon refused because they were useful to her.
Unable to find a way to trade the Orbs, Fionn lingered in her store, watching her experiment. When he noticed the use of poisons in her experiment, he offered her his assistance in exchange for the Orbs.
Fionn asked for the Orbs after fulfilling his end of the bargain, which she requested to give him tomorrow because they were still somewhat useful to her, to which Fionn agreed, reluctantly.
" Finally, let's begin." Said Fionn, excitedly, while looking at the Departed Orbs.
He then grabbed a handful of Orbs and released his avatars, whom he had been suppressing all along. Suddenly, a Violet Flame engulfed his Fist in which he was holding the Departed Orbs, screams and wails could be heard as the Orbs melted and a dark mana began to release, which was absorbed into Fionn's body by an unusual suction.
Soon, not even the ashes of the Departed Orbs could be seen, " ahh!, that was good"exclaimed Fionn contentedly, as his eyes glowed an intense Violet
Fionn then continued to devour the Departed Orbs, the resentment which was feared by most of the Practitioners was effortlessly cleansed by the Abyss fire in Fionn's body, which specializes in destruction and the death mana became the purest of nutrients.

Fionn felt like he was floating in the clouds after consuming all of the Departed Orbs, he checked the back of his palm, the star mark there was slightly yellow, it was negligible to the naked eye but Fionn could see it.
" So, they increased my mana capacity." Thought Fionn, elated.
Fionn then yawned, feeling sleepy, and thought to himself, "Let's call it a night, I'll have to leave the city early tomorrow."
