《Guns in another world》Expedition ll

Suddenly, an idea occurred to him. He landed quickly on the ground and summoned Ether.
Ether appeared excited when he was summoned and began racing around Fionn, wanting to let out a howl, seeing his actions Fionn became alarmed, grasped his mouth, and said "Buddy, we are not in our world, so we must be as stealthy as possible."
GROWL!
Ether growled quietly while nodding with a human-like expression when he heard Fionn's words.
Fionn let go of his mouth and explained after he received his confirmation, "Buddy, I need you to do something; there's a Cyclope settlement a mile away. What you must do is go there and cause chaos, in order to force as many of them out of the village as possible, but keep in mind that your safety must be your top priority."
Ether growled, indicating his comprehension.
"Go then," Fionn said, patting Ether on the back.
After Ether left, Fionn summoned his Skysurf board once more and shot up towards the sky to observe the situation and prepare for the next objective.
A few miles away from Fionn's position is a settlement of tens of thousands of Cyclopes. The Cyclopes were around 4 metres tall, naked, and covered in bizarre densely packed black coloured tattoos that pulsated like veins and looked extremely ominous. As they meandered aimlessly through the settlement, their expressions lacked vitality.
Suddenly, a reddish black shadow burst out of the forest with a snarl, the Cyclopes, who had been meandering aimlessly up until that moment, startled and turned, glaring at the beast that had just come with their single dark green eye.
SWOOOSH!
Not waiting for the opposing party to make the first move, the beast became a blur of crimson and black and began rampaging among the Cyclopes. He caused bone-deep gashes in the bodies of every Cyclope that came in his path, leaving them half-dead, and roars of pain began to resound from wherever he walked, leaving pools of blood behind. When the Cyclopes saw their comrades being ruthlessly killed, they attempted to stop the beast. However, they just couldn't keep up with the beast, their speed was not slow, but in comparison to the lightning fast beast, it was insufficient, and they just joined their mutilated friends on the ground, contributing to the blood pool's expansion.

ROOOOAAAARRR!
Suddenly, a thunderous roar erupted from one of the huts in the centre of the settlement. Soon later, a Cyclopes of roughly 5 metres stormed out of the hut, completely destroying it in his path. In contrast to other Cyclopes, this one is more muscular and wields a Club. Without wasting any time, the muscular Cyclopes dashed towards the beast, his desire to kill as clear as day.
Other Cyclopes, as if receiving a command, stopped running after the beast and began encircling it, barring all escape routes.
Despite the tightening encirclement and the Muscular Cyclopes on his tail, the beast continues to butcher the Cyplopes left and right, without a fearful expression on his face.
Despite the beast's killing, the number of Cyclopes slain in the settlement as a whole is still very small. Slowly but steadily, the encirclement tightened and the room for manoeuvring shrank, making dodging the hits fired by the muscular Cyclopes more difficult.
Several minutes later.
The muscular Cyclopes flexed his muscles and glared at the beast, which was now encircled by the Cyclopes' encirclement of less than 100m radius. The muscular Cyclopes, recognising the situation was under control, let out a shout, commanding the encirclement to continue shrinking and charging at the beast, ready to deliver the killing blow.
The beast glared back, his fangs bared, his savagery swelling to a climax as he sank his claws deep into the ground and let out a deafening howl.
Ahh-wooooooo!
With the beast's howl, all the blood that had been filling the ditches in the ground erupted into the sky like a volcano, forming a blood fog that engulfed his surroundings, dropping visibility to zero.
The sudden change of events threw the formation of Cyclopes into disarray, as many Cyclopes were thrown away in the eruption of the blood pools, and now that visibility has been reduced to zero, the Cyclopes' condition is similar to that of puppets whose string has been broken.

The muscular Cyclopes, the only one who appears to have some intelligence, appears alarmed by the unfolding situation as he peers left and right, his club set to attack. Suddenly, the hair on his body stood on end, and he cautiously turned around, only to face a pair of blood-red eyes staring right back at him.

Ph. D. In Sorcery
Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do. In the end that is the reason, I am doing this, because I enjoy putting my thoughts on paper and seeing the outcome. Credit for the art: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/e0o8nw
