《Guns in another world》Onwards to Legacy lX

When Fionn's question was heard by the crew member, he chuckled and asked, "Haven't you realized yet?"
"What?, I have no idea what you're talking about." Fionn was perplexed.
"We've already entered the southern region; the forest you see below is only a small portion of Legacy's hazardous zone."The crew member responded without further ado.
"This, a hazardous zone?" Fionn asked doubtfully, pointing to the beautiful and tranquil forest below.
"Yes, it is; it may be beautiful, but the creatures that live within it are equally dangerous." The crew member responded.
"If this is such a dangerous place, why are we taking this route?" Fionn, puzzled, enquired.
"Because there is no other way. Legacy is located in the heart of what they refer to as the hazardous zone; all we have to do to get there is follow the path they have laid out for us. The path we are currently on is one of many such paths. The mana flow in the hazardous zone is uneven, with areas that are dominant in the mana of a specific element. I'm not sure what causes this phenomenon, but I do know that all paths to Legacy pass through areas dominated by the wood element mana." The crew member explained.
"Why only the wood element?" Fionn inquired, intrigued.
"I guess because the creatures in these areas are generally gentler and quieter in nature, and will not attack unless provoked." replied the crew member, not sure himself.
"Understood," Fionn replied and asked still a bit puzzled, "aren't all magical beasts and such creatures supposed to live in the northern wilderness, so why are they also here?"
"There is a distinction between magical creatures in the hazardous zone and those in the northern wilderness; all of the beasts you'll see in the hazardous zone belong to either professors or students of legacy; they are not wild like in the northern wilderness, which is one of the reasons we can travel safely. The hazardous zone is a place where students and professors of Legacy can leave their beast companions to train. Its environment is not lacking in comparison to the northern wilderness in any way, and legends say that even rank 6 beasts live there." Explained the crew member, a zealous look in his eyes.

"That's great," Fionn said, thinking, "looks like I don't have to worry about Ether and Julius's accommodation."
"So, when will we reach legacy?" Fionn inquired.
"We should arrive by evening; the closer we get, the more Airships you'll see flying alongside us." The crew member responded.
Hearing the crew members response Fionn nodded and stop disturbing him any further by asking him more questions and just kept enjoying the view.
The upper deck's windows were quite large, providing an excellent view, and the fact that they were flying at a low altitude at a slow speed was the icing on the cake. The low altitude slow flight was intended to avoid annoyance to both the flying and ground beasts.
The time flew by as the sun rose quickly, and soon it was breakfast time; with today being the last day on the Airship, Fionn was expecting to see his fellow passengers, and they did not disappoint, arriving looking as good as before and without a scratch on their faces. Surprisingly, Ned was among them, but unlike the others, he appeared pale, as if he had just awoken from a coma, noticing Fionn, all the teens avoided Fionn like the plague, the incident a few days ago fresh in their minds, but Ned, like a rooster among hens, kept glaring at Fionn, as if wanting to etch his face into his soul.
Fionn graciously ignored him, not wanting to spoil his mood on this momentous day, and continued eating his breakfast while enjoying the view outside, just as the crew member had mentioned, about at 9 a.m. Fionn saw another Airship joining the same route as them coming from another direction, compared to their this Airship one being almost 5 times their size. After changing its course, the Airship slowed and began moving alongside them at a similar speed, maintaining a safe distance.

Just as Fionn and company looked curiously at the new Airship that joined them, the passengers of the new Airship returned curious looks, their faces displaying a range of expressions from enthusiasm to indifference to disdain.
