《Guns in another world》Legacy II

SWOOOSH!
The airships landed in an orderly fashion on their designated platforms outside the city, blowing loads of wind in all directions. With the Airship's landing, the teens inside jumped out of their seats and dashed down the stairway towards the lower deck, cheeing and shouting in delight; the crew members tried to organise them but to no avail. Fionn chuckled as he watched this spectacle and got up from his seat, quite excited, nodding and waving goodbye to the crew members he recognised as he walked downstairs.
When Fionn arrived on the lower deck and saw Garth already there, he was surprised and asked, "weren't you supposed to be on the fourth deck, how did you arrive here so quickly?"
"Because I have a capable copilot, I don't always need to be present and monitor the situation there." Garth responded casually.
"That's quite helpful," Fionn said as he approached Garth and initiated a handshake, adding with a smile, "thanks for everything captain, it was a pleasure travelling with you."
"Not a pleasant journey for me because you're leaving quite a mess behind for me," Garth grumbled. Looking at Fionn's extended hands, he chuckled and added, patting Fionn on the shoulder, "You're still too young to shake my hand; now go out there and achieve great things in life; enough chit-chat with an old man like me."
Fionn nodded and smiled as he exited the Airship, saying, "thanks."
Outside, while inspecting the port, he stretched and exclaimed, "Finally out of that cage, damn it!"
Unlike the port in Plesas City, this one appeared to be much more finished, with a better foundation and structure.
"What now, should I just move to the city or wait here?" Fionn wondered as he looked around, noticing the teens from his Airship and others standing in the open space in the middle of the port, forming clusters with their friends and appearing to be waiting for someone.

Fionn, aware of his ignorance, decided to wait with the others. A few seconds later, Fionn felt a disturbance coming from the sky above the city, and looking up, he saw a man and a woman flying towards them at high speed.
Fionn, sensing their strong presence from afar, did not dare to use his scope's ability on them and instead waited patiently for them to approach.
As they got closer, the man's appearance became clearer: he had scarlet hair, an athletic build, and an average-looking face. He was flying without the use of any relic or transformation, indicating he was a rank 2 practitioner. While flying, he looked like a burning meteor because he was engulfed in flames. The woman also appeared fairly average, with black hair and a decent body, but the one thing that stood out about her was the pair of pitch black wings behind her, indicating her identity as a bloodline noble, and her aura was no less powerful than the man's, indicating she was also a rank 2 practitioner.
Both of them quickly landed in front of them, creating a small dust cloud; everyone turned pale as they felt the pressure of higher rank from them, especially those with low ranking bloodlines who have to endure even bloodline suppression from both of them; the better ones simply knelt down, while the others fainted. Surprisingly, despite his poor health from his recent battle with Fionn, Ned did not faint, holding on to his consciousness stubbornly.
Scanning the crowd, pleased with the results of their display of power, both of them retracted their aura, the flames around the man vanished, as did the wings behind the women, and they now resembled more like normal humans. The man spoke first, his tone warm, "Welcome to the Gift city, the gateway to Legacy, we the second year students of Legacy are glad that you all are here."

With the pressure gone, everyone panted and looked at the man and woman with varying expressions, some with admiration and others with resentment.
"Your group is the worst we've received so far, so the saying 'good ones arrive early' was true," remarked the women, looking around with dissatisfaction, adding, "Those who are still conscious follow us; port guards will take care of the unconscious; they are disqualified and will be sent back home the next morning."

Travelers [DROPPED]
DROPPED. The story focuses less on dungeon building than on the why of dungeons and how they fit into the universal order. While I am working from a grand plot, the writing is going slice of life style because I need to do that to work out how things progress into that grand plot. The original story seed idea / synopsis is below. The Grand Tapestry protects Rhofhir from Primal Chaos by imposing Order via patterns. However, the patterns grow stiff, stagnant, and so the Tapestry is nearing a time of Unraveling. Evidence of past civilizations wiped out during previous Unravelings foreshadow the apocalyptic catastrophe looming over the world. The mages of the Arcane Asylum reach out across dimensions, searching for some way to prevent, or at least stall, the coming Unraveling. Among the many voices they find is a gifted graduate student researching machine-assisted telepathy -- and his gaming group. Lena never expected that the chance to play DnD with telepathy would result in her becoming an actual Dungeon Master, nor that her friends could become the bosses of her dungeon. This is, in many ways, her dream come true, but there's a catch: What happened to Brad, the creator of that telepathy machine?
