ROOOAAARR!
The dragon, satisfied with its display of power, lets out another deafening roar, and its body begins to transform. As the morphing process began, the dragon transformed into pure elemental lightning, lighting up the entire sky. The lightning then began to compress, creating a vortex in the sky and taking the shape of a human, a man to be more specific.
This entire process took only a few seconds, but it felt like an eternity to Fionn and others who were suffering from rank suppression.
As the dragon finished its transformation, Fionn and the others finally felt the pressure on their bodies dissipate. Breathing heavily, they gasped for air and looked up to the man who was standing in the air above the arena.
" So it was true that once a bloodline practitioner reaches a certain rank, they can completely transform into the creature whose bloodline they possess." Fionn murmured, looking at the director, who had just transformed from a dragon to a human.
"Of course it's true," Theodore replied, his gaze of admiration fixed on the director.
As the dark clouds parted and sunlight streamed into the arena, the director's appearance finally became visible in front of everyone's curious gazes. The director had a completely bald shining head, a masculine square face with sharp brows, appeared middle-aged, and wore simple gardening clothes. He had the aura of a benevolent man about him.
"Is he the director?" Fionn, full of scepticism, inquired of Theodore.
"He sure is," Theodore said, his words dripping with zeal.
The director looked down and nodded to the professors. When the professors saw his gesture, they bowed in acknowledgement to him. Who knows what both parties intended to convey. Without saying anything, the director floated leisurely towards the balcony at the top of the arena, where a throne was placed and a butler awaited him. Taking his seat, he said in a commanding voice that echoed throughout the arena, "Let the exam begin."

Hearing the director's command, drums and horns rang out across the arena, signalling the start of the exam and heating up the atmosphere in an instant. The audience cheered with excitement, eager to see a good show.
Amidst the sounds of instruments, a woman with an oval face, long hair, and tall stature entered the arena, looking stunning. With her charm, she drew everyone's attention in an instant and said clearly and loudly, "Greetings everyone, I am a Legacy assistant professor specialising in long range battle spells, and I will be the invigilator of this year's entrance exam.
As the women finished her brief introduction, a thunderous applause erupted.
After the applause died down, the invigilator resumed announcing "Let me now explain how the exam will proceed. The exam will only have one round, and the examinees will be divided into two groups: combat oriented and support oriented. To pass the round, combat-oriented examinees must duel one of our first-year students and either survive for 2 minutes or defeat him/her. They'll be eliminated if they can't. To pass the round, support-oriented examinees must demonstrate their skills to our panel of professors and persuade them of their worth. If the majority of our panel believes you are unfit to join Legacy, you will be eliminated."
The invigilator then took a brief break to allow her words to sink in before proceeding. "You're probably wondering what you're supposed to do with the points you've earned in the competition. Let me answer this question for you: you can use these points to exchange for items that will help you pass this exam, such as spell scrolls, potions, relics and so on ."
Hearing what the invigilator said the expression of every examinee lit up with joy, some of them even lept with excitement thinking "exam is in the bag now."

After the explanation, the invigilator tapped her foot on the arena stage, and a large projection screen appeared and hovered above the arena. The number 0000 was displayed on the screen.
"Check your identity token right now. The opposite side of the point display. You'll notice a number has appeared there; this is your serial number. You will be summoned to participate in the exam based on this." with a calm expression, said the invigilator.
