《Hero Status: Revoked》Arc 1 - 41 - How Long Will He Go?
POV: Elena Mercer
He was only gone for 3 days, but I had someone at my door telling me something was wrong with Kyle.
Why does God hate me so much?
I just want a healthy child, and after being blessed so much, this happens to him.
Kyle has a chronic disease that no Healing mage can cure.
Where is the next Saint Ajoras to heal my child?
I can only hope that he pulls through this like the other times, but his condition is always on the brink of death, as if picking up his hand would cause instant death.
I did not notice it, but the nurse has told me something very strange.
Kyle isn't digesting his food.
They fed him food every day and it goes in, but it just comes out the same way.
They stopped giving him food over 2 weeks ago and nothing has changed.
The clouds of fortune and death. Sometimes I see the fortune, but in times like these it is the death cloud that shows it's head.
POV: Beth Valheart
I told him to come to my room, but I had no idea this would happen!
What is happening to my friend?
Kyle was perfectly healthy that night, but it's already been over 2 months!
He is so good with magic, and I thought he could do anything... but this?
Kyle can't die!
I wouldn't know what to do.
But if he doesn't come back...
Should I have just said it in the courtyard?
POV: Florianne Charis
I only knew him for 2 days, but he was just so interesting.
Full types and paid the fee with coins?
Who is that guy?
I was worried when he didn't show up when we decided to meet in the morning because I thought he didn't like me, but to find out he was this sickly...

I have to do something when he wakes back up.
It can't be longer than 3 months right?
POV: Claire Drought
Kyle's letters have seemed a little strange lately, like he is using the wrong hand to write with. I wonder if it's broken? If it was broken, I would learn healing magic so I could fix it, but i'd only fix it a little bit and then i'd tell Kyle that I can only fix it a little every day and then he would come to see me every day so I could fix it and when it was fixed Kyle would be so happy he would see me every day.
I wonder if Kyle can use healing magic though...
POV: Kathy Drought
I can't do it much longer.
Claire is starting to catch on.
Elena told me what happened but...
How could it already be 4 months without any changes?
POV: Kyle Mercer
"What will we do with a poisoned slayer?"
"What will we do with a poisoned slayer?"
"What will we do with a poisoned slayer early in the dungeon?"
POV: Kyle Mercer, About 2 years ago.
FUCK! I'm in the FUCKING BLACK ROOM!
"Oh hey there. Didn't expect to see you so soon."
What is that cock sucker doing here?
"Fuck you Asura. Go suck a cock."
"Ooh, no need to be so harsh. I've been waiting almost 600 years for you to get here."
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I'm sorry, I thought you maintained the same level of intelligence from those many years ago. It's been over 10,000 for me, so truthfully I've forgotten."
"You've been in this prison for 10,000 years?"
"Prison? This is Nirvana! Can't you feel it?!"
"No I can't feel it. It just feels like nothing."
"Ah, I remember the feeling. Feels like you have arms, but you can't see them. Then when you realize you can't see them, you can't feel them anymore. Soon it's like you never existed to begin with."
"Damn it! I'd be able to kill you if I had a body!"
"Good luck getting a body in Oblivion. Excuse me, but I've got a diner date with an Asurian princess."
Holy mother of God! The entire room just change into the throne room of a brilliant palace. Gold everywhere, stained glass windows with beautiful patterns... How is any of this possible?
"Go on, get."
AAAAAAHHHH!
POV: Kyle Mercer, About 3 days later.
Shit, the pain finally stopped. Felt like my heart was going to explode at any moment... but i'm in the black space again. It's empty, but the space I was just in was just like this before it changed.
Asura did something, and a palace appeared. It looked like he knew exactly what was happening. Was that Nirvana? What makes Nirvana so different from Oblivion?
Wait a fart fiddling minute. 10,000 years! That motherfucker has had over 10,000 years to get stronger than me! I can't beat that. I could catch up to a few years. Maybe a few hundred if I found a really great power in a distant corner of the continent, but 10 fucking thousand?
Fuck this gay earth.
POV: Kyle Mercer, About 8 months ago.
It's already been more than a year in this hell hole. I can't move, I can't see anything, all I can do is speak. I guess I can sing songs until I get out.
Hoo fuckin' ray.

The Arcanist Seer
An eye of which sees everything beyond the skies and heavens saw an embodying fate with reek of blood and greed. He who sees the future and yet is restrained by his own shackles of his destiny. An eye that serves a purpose but nothing in exchange for his freedom. Will he remain as a tool of his adversary or escape from his own shackles of fate? This is a story of two old men trying to free from the shackle of their destiny set in a future only to await their impending doom. This is a story of a dead god, and of a storyteller, trying to break from the bonds of the past. And as their stories go, one of them will face the events that unfold in their distant past, as the other one will unveil its mystery predicted by its future. Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
