《Bloodshed》Askel

Askel could feel the remanents of Loki’s curse writhing around in Akira’s blood. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t locate the root of the curse. Loki sat behind and to his right, his eyes tightly shut and brow furrowed in concentration. He sat slightly in front of the contraption Eir had set up to pull the blood from his sister’s body. His hands were wrapped in an ominous, undulating, mass of black, oily tendrils. The tendrils themselves seemed almost sentient. They kept trying to make their way back to Akira but Loki was doing something to hold them captive.
Askel’s focus returned to Akira. He was getting increasingly worried. Her breathing had become shallower and her skin pale and clammy.
“Please hold on, min kjære,” he heard Loki mutter under his breath.
Askel furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Why was Loki using terms of endearment with his sister? Why did he look so heartbroken when he’d looked at Akira laying on his bed? Why? Why? Why? The questions were never ending. Freyja help him he had to get the answers before Loki left again. He knew that whatever had caused Loki’s change in demenor since that night in the castle nearly eight months ago had everything to do with Akira. He needed to find out what so he could better protect them both.

Necromancer's Knight: a Light in Death
It was dark, pitch black. Where am I? Where was I last? I died. Am I still dead? A light so dim, yet so blindingly bright to me appeared in a vertical line. The line grew wider and wider, all until the stone slab above my coffin was completely removed. I removed it, I lifted it, without even willing it. And my body continued to move until it was outside of the crypt. It was night, but there was a full moon. And a little girl in front of me. She clutched a black book to her chest as if it were the last thing she had left in this world. I've heard stories of this, I imagined the possibility, but I never thought it would happen to me. Tears streaked down her cheeks. She choked the words out. "Please, save my papa!"

One Eyed Ghoul; a Tokyo Ghoul fanfic.
A for want of a nail fic I write in between moments when I'm working on my original story. Originally posted on FanFiction.net, but brought over here to allow people to compare it to my original work if they wish. The premise is as follows: Hide decides to pay Ken an early visit in the hospital. He cares too much to let his friend recover alone. A tiny change to the sequence of events, an entirely different story. Some bloody scenes, but no worse than the original story offered.
