Will arrived at the cafeteria about ten minutes later. "Will, over here" Tim screamed out across the room, gaining a few stares.
Will rushed towards Tim to join him in line before he could be embarrassed anymore. "What are they serving? " Will asked seriously. " I don't know but I have heard that the academy's food has a well-known reputation," Tim responded as he tried to look ahead. " Let's hope that is a good reputation" Will replied with a chuckle. They made it to the serving area after five minutes of standing. "Umm, what is this? They can't serve this dog food to us, can they? " Tim couldn't help but shudder as he asked. " If you can't handle a little bit of bad food then you will not last in the academy," Will replied as he remembered the time when Shawn would attempt to cook at the café, he may be able to make divine coffee but his cooking skills are worse than Wills luck. " All right, let's rush so that we can get in some training before the next class," Will replied with a chuckle as he started shoveling the sludge off his tray and into his mouth. "You are a complete masochist," Tim replied as he attempted to copy Wills's actions but failed to without gagging. They finished eating their "food" and headed to the park to train after Will stopped at his dorm to gather the drones, but unknown to them they were followed. They arrived at the park at 12:45 A.M. " All right, we have an hour left before we need to return," Will said as he booted up the drones. " Okay, let's get started," Tim said as he tightened the laces on his shoes. " So, it looks like Shawn taught will the purgatory training method." Headmaster Heizer let out with a sigh as he silently watched Will's training. "The purgatory training, a method developed by senior knights when they noticed their juniors getting stronger at a more noticeable pace when under extreme stress. The only downside to this training is that if the trainee is unable to handle the stress their very minds will break." Heizer thought as he recalled the incidents surrounding the people involved with the training method. " The method he is using now may be effective for the current him but as he grows stronger the speed at with his strength grows shall decrease unless he was put under even more stress." Heizer thought as he developed a plan for Wills training as he walked back to his office. He may dislike Shawn but that has nothing to do with Will. Will and Tim then ended their training and headed back to the academy to prepare for their next classes. Will put his drones on charge and read his schedule: 1^st - History (Room 10) 8:00 A.M to 9:00 A.M 2^nd - Geography (Room 11) 9:30 A.M to 10:30 A.M 3^rd - Magic Principal (Room 21) 11:00 A.M to 12:00 A.M Lunch Period 4^th - Exercise (Room 01) 2:00 P.M to 3:00 P.M 5^th - Bodybuilding (Room 02) 3:30 P.M to 4:30 P.M 6^th - Swordplay (Room 03) 6:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M He then went to room 01. Will arrived three minutes early and was curious of what they would be doing. " All right class, this class is extremely simple, all we will be doing is an exercise to get you ready for the next few classes you will have. The exercises you will be doing will prepare each of your muscles for use. We will be doing the Knights version of yoga, and no it is not yoga while wearing armor. The name of this workout is called Win sight. It is named that because it appears simple to do but is extremely difficult to actually do." The instructor said as he entered the classroom. The instructor then began to go over the forms while having the class attempt them. " Sir, why did none of the instructors give their names?" Someone asked as they raised their hand. " Well, to be frank, you haven't earned the right to actually call them your instructors yet. All of the instructors will give their names after you take the exam over what you have learned in the next 6 months." The instructor replied with a chuckle as he was pleased to actually help someone. As the class ended Will went to grab his stuff and leave. " Wait, it may be difficult for you if you wear that cloak to your physics classes." The instructor said as he stopped Will from leaving. " I know, Sir, but it will be more of a problem if I don't wear a cloak than if I did. Thank you for your concern." Will replied as he left the class. "Well, at least it is easy to see the determination of one student." The instructor said with a sigh. He then planned to keep tabs on Will. Will entered Room 02 and looked around the class. There was mostly workout equipment. "All right class, today we will be going over what my expectations and requirements are. But before we get to that I need to tell you exactly what a magic knight does so that you want to get dreams of being someone who roams the streets fighting crime. A magic knight's job is to protect the borders from beast swarms and other kingdom invasions. You will also be expected to hunt monsters in the danger zone and collect their cores. Before we continue, I am going to have to ask you to remove your cloak." He said as he pointed at will. " But I can still work out in a cloak," Will replied flatly while trying not to let his words reflect his feelings. " That would be more of a hindrance and slow your progress." Will slowly raised his hands. " If that is what you want," Will said with a sigh. He then slowly removed his cloak. There were loud gasps as people stared at Will. His Black hair was at eye level, his facial features were all average except for his black, silver pupil eyes. " Well, if that was why you were wearing the cloak then sunglasses would work better." The instructor said as he quieted down the class. "Before our next class, it would be best if you bought a pair of sunglasses if you haven't already. All right class, we will now begin going over what we will be doing in here." The instructor said as began showing the class what they would be doing. They would mainly focus on their cores and upper body strength. They would slightly focus on lower body strength, students would be allowed to work on any areas they think that they need to work on in their free time. They were not allowed to waste any time in the class or their daily workout would be doubled. As it was time to leave Will to putt his cloak on. He then ran to the Academy store and bought a pair of sunglasses. He then walked to classroom 03. He was five minutes early and decided to think about what happened in fifth period. I wonder how bad I am going to regret that decision? Why did I have to go through with that? Why did I not just walk out? " Hello class, today I will be going over what we will be doing in here until either you guys become paladins or graduate." The instructor said with a smile as she walked in. " All right let's begin, but first cloak off." She said as she pointed at Will. Will pulled off his cloak and thought. Ha, I was prepared this time. " Okay, sunglasses too." The instructor said with a smile. " May I ask why, Ma'am," Will asked flatly as he played the manners card while wondering if his luck could drop any lower. " They will obscure your vision and give your opponent a slight advantage." She replied with a chuckle. " Well, if that is why," Will said as he removed his glasses and endured another round of whispers and gasps. "All right, we will now begin with what we will be going over. First, there are three main things we will cover. First is the proper sword handling techniques. Second is determining what sword will suit you the best. Last is proper sword stances for attack and defense." She then began going over how to handle different types of swords and began allowing the students to try themselves. After the class was over Will gathered his stuff and headed back to his dorm to put away his things and prepared his drones for his daily training. He spent the rest of the day in the park running while the drones shot him. What he didn't know was that the bodybuilding instructor was watching him the entire time. " A sapling that has just begun to grow, and time can only tell how high his branches shall reach." The instructor said to himself as he watched Will train. Will headed back to his dorm and putt his drones back on charge. He then checked the celestial system: Tabs: Injuries Skills Maps Main: Name: Willenstark Kraft-Will Strength : 6 Agility : 7 Intelligence : 9 Charisma : 2 Luck : -7 Mana : 22 Mana Manipulation : 6 Vitality: 11 Endurance: 12 Basic Weapon Handling : 3 Will began to think over his stats. Why does it say basic weapon handling and not regular weapon handling? Besides, my endurance, vitality, and mana manipulation have increased. My luck hasn't decreased at all, it appears my ancestors haven't enraged any more divinities. My fate is finally turning around. But unknown to Will, his tragic fate is only beginning.

For as long as anyone can remember, humans have been preyed upon by Harbingers, living nightmares which devour dreams and passions and souls, and defended by Keepers. These children alone hold the gift of magic, the wild and wondrous ability to impose emotions over reality and empower their frail bodies with the splendor of their souls. Under their protection, humanity was able to survive and thrive. While modern Keepers have come to enjoy a social position somewhere between celebrities and religious idols, very few accept the mantle simply to be a hero. The Messengers of the Goddess Claiasya, spirits charged with awakening the magic in suitable souls, promise that Keepers who consume and purify enough Harbingers will obtain the power to change themselves or the world in nearly any way they wish. It’s for this purpose that Liadain Shiel, a young girl born terminally ill, throws herself into life as a Keeper when her opportunity comes, hoping against hope to rewrite her fate and save her life while she still can. But magic wants its wielders to grow and change, not simply continue living, and the secrets swimming beneath the sea and behind the sky have lives and designs of their own. So if anyone finds any missed places or traces of my previous world-building, please comment and notify me. Andel lived in a world where those with powers will have the final say in everything.
