Will ate breakfast the following morning. He spent the majority of the night thinking of the incident with Verrad. He nearly face slammed into the gravy. He gained quite the attention of Shawn and Melany who couldn't keep straight faces. They nearly fell to the floor while trying to hold in their laughter as Will tried to add salt to his gravy with sugar. "Will, I don't think that is how you're supposed to eat, especially at the table," Shawn said as he tried to cheer up Will. "I was just thinking of the tournament," Will said with a sly smile. " What are you going to do?" Shawn said curiously. "First, I may have to call in at the academy. Second, lots of torturous training." Will replied with a chuckle. Will finished eating and called Kyle. " Kyle, I am going to take the next few weeks until the tournament off to train," Will said as soon as Kyle answered. "There is no need, I have a plan for you to train and to motivate the students at the same time," Kyle said with a chuckle. "Okay, what is it?" Will said with his interests peaked. "You will have to come here to see, and leave your swords at home," Kyle said with a mysterious chuckle. "Okay?" Will said confused. Will ran to the academy as fast as he could. When he got there the entire parking lot was full. "Wait, what has this weirdo done now?" Will asked as he looked around to see what Kyle had planned. When Will saw the banner that was hanging over the main gate of the academy he stopped in his tracks. The banner read " Blenheim Champion Gauntlet". Will ran as fast as he could to Kyle's office. He made it to the door to Kyle's office as Kyle went to leave. "Um, what did you do?" Will said wondering if he should run while he still had the chance. "We are holding a gauntlet to show off to impress the students and motivate them to train, there are any challengers welcome also," Kyle said with a smile. "Okay, why did I have to leave my swords behind," Will said starting to realize that things didn't add up. "That is the best part, you are not allowed to use any weapon," Shawn said enthusiastically. "I don't think this is going to end well," Will said as he gave up and walked to the gym. The entire bleachers were filled with people from town and those that weren't. Will started to get nervous. This wasn't going to end well. "It's time to begin Blenheim's first gauntlet. Our main contender will be Willenstark Kraft. He is the co-headmaster of our proud school as well as our mascot. He will be fighting until there are no more challengers. Anyone is welcome to challenge and can make any conditions for Will if they defeat him." Kyle ended the announcement. The group of people that were from out of town stared at Will. "Are you some sort of masochist? You were not able to beat him and yet you want us to? Are you insane?" A random student from the academy said as she stood up. " young miss, you are the student council president correct?" Kyle asked sounding confused. "My name is Megan Nelson, and yes I have been in the student council since my first year at the academy," Megan said as she looked at Kyle. "I think that the student council needs to run another election. You interrupted one of your headmasters in the middle of an important announcement. Where was I? Oh right, Will isn't allowed to use any weapons, you guys should stand a chance with those sort of restrictions correct?" Kyle said as Megan sat back down while being extremely embarrassed. "Let's begin. Will enter the marked area. Anyone to knock him out can make any request of him even if he has to use his position as headmaster to fulfill it." Kyle said energetically. Will entered the marked twenty-five by twenty-five foot marked area. He let out a deep sigh while he stretched and prepared for the first challenger. "Please don't hold back." Megan Nelson said as she entered the marked area to face off against Will. When Will turned around he was shocked to see how beautiful the student council president was. She was five foot seven with shoulder length blonde hair. Will was in a daze. "What are your conditions?" Will asked as he recomposed himself. "I have no conditions, except to refight you when you are able to use your swords again." She said as she readied her mace. A two-foot-long bat that was four inches thick and made of solid steel. She started with an over headed strike as she rushed Will. Will began to send his many throughout his body as he activated lightning blood. Time slowed down as the blue bar at the bottom of his vision slowly drained. He sidestepped her strike and retaliated with a kick that sent her flying out of the marked area. "To save time, could the contenders make their condition after they win," Will said with a sigh as people began to line up. The entire arena went quiet. Then contenders jumped into the area one after the other. Will lost control of himself and sent anyone that jumped in flying back out. He only used lightning blood when he was about to get hit, he would only use it enough to dodge and retaliate. He sent them all out of the marked area until even the people from out of town joined in. He sent them flying as well. "Looks like there is only one contender left," Kyle announced as Will sent the last person flying with a roundhouse kick. "And who would that be?" Will asked confused.

"Me," Kyle said as he rushed Will with his broadsword. "Isn't this cheating?" Will said as he kept dodging Kyles slashes "Nope, if you remember, the rules stated it was open to all challengers," Kyle said as he kept slashing. "Is that any justification?" Will said as he was long out of mana and starting to run out of stamina. "Oh, is the champion's reign about the end," Kyle said as the crowd began to boo. Will's stamina ran out shortly afterward and so did his control. His body took on a golden aura. The flecks of color in his eyes started to glow. Lightning covered his skin. "Uh, Will I think you need to calm down," Kyle said as he started to back up. Will didn't listen and dashed straight at Kyle. He moved so fast that Kyle wasn't able to raise his sword in time to block the first punch from Will. He barely was able to block Will's follow up kick and was knocked out of the marked area. Will walked to the edge of the marked area and closed his eyes. The entire gym was quiet as they waited for what the champion would do next. Will began to snore as if he was asleep and the entire gym was baffled. "Did headmaster Will just send headmaster Kyle flying while asleep?!?!" The entire gym broke into conversations as a random student said this. "He really was holding back that day," Kyle said with a sigh. "Just what was with that majestic aura. That aura just made me want to admit defeat. That chaotic lightning that wanted to run over the entire world until it collapsed and yet it never did dare to run out of his control. And those eyes, they held so much viciousness and an unlimited amount of gentleness. Ha, just what does his future have in store." Kyle said as he carried Will to his office and called Shawn.

These should be going up within the next week or so, still have to go to work, but I am here, I haven't forgotten or dropped the story. Just trying to make this the best work that I can produce. P.S. I will be releasing additional stories. They are all going to be in the Good Necromancer world, however the others will give you an idea on how humans in other locations survived and have thrived.
