Shin’s POV…

Sensei unsheathed his sword and entered the boss’s room.

“So? Are you going to fight this one seriously?”(Scarlet)

“Yeah, but I’ll not kill him right away, to make a Soul Weapon out of this one I’ll need to install an instinctual fear of me deep inside his very soul”(Ryo)

“Heh, I like where you are going with this”(Scarlet)

{Quit talking to your sword and face me, insulant human!!}

The weapons scattered all around the room started floating in the air before pointing their tips at sensei and shooting towards him at a ridicules speeds, sensei simply used his sword to deflect all the weapons that came flying at him and each and every weapon he deflected with his sword turned to ash.

{You are not bad, but destroying my weapons will do you no good at all!}

The destroyed weapons reappeared again right next to the Sword Eater, and then they started shooting at sensei not all at once but at different times each, and to make things worse some of them were spinning and swinging around. For some reason, sensei didn’t move this time and just stood there waiting for the weapons to hit him.

“Sensei! Be careful!!”(Shin)

He just looked at me and smiled, and right at that moment all of the weapons launched at him hit their mark, the swords and daggers stabbed his body and remained in place, while the spears and arrows shoot right through him, blood and some parts of sensei’s body dripped on the ground and seeing that made me lose my mind and before I knew it I was running towards the boss’s room intending to save sensei when…

“{Fear}”(Ryo)

My body stopped in its tracks, I couldn’t control my body anymore, all I could do was shake in fear, and when I tried to resist that feeling and move forward regardless, for some reason I started crying and I froze up again but this time I couldn’t do anything at all, suddenly I was pulled from behind and that whole feeling disappeared completely.

“Shin! Are alright?!”(Loti)

“…Loti..?”(Shin)

“Look over there! It’s a barrier, sensei must have erected it in there, so we don’t follow him inside! Once you passed through the boundary of the barrier you started shaking and crying, that’s why I pulled you back!”(Loti)

“I see…”(Shin)

{Hahahaha! That’s what happens when you underestimate like that! Now you are dead leaving your companions behind! Hahahaha!}

“For an undead, you sure talk a lot”(Ryo)

{What?! How? You should be dead!}

“Well, I’m not, sorry to disappoint you”(Ryo)

Sensei moved his left hand and started removing the weapons stabbed in his body one after the other slowly as if to show everyone present the holes and cut the weapons left all over his body, and once he pulled the last sword out, the blood and chunks of meat on the ground started returning to where they originally were, Sensei’s body and armor started healing… no, regenerating as if time was going backward and in no time Sensei was back to normal.

“Now is my turn! {Kurushimi No Hono} plus {Aura: Fear}, {Pain}”(Ryo)

Sensei’s sword became covered with that same reddish-black flame he used against the Holy Knights in Wolfia and after that, a strange aura covered his body, then he started walking slowly towards the Sword Eater.

{Kuh! D-D-Don’t underestimate m-meeee!!}

The Sword Eater launched his weapons at Sensei in a frenzy-like state, and right before the weapons were able to reach him, Sensei disappeared from his spot and appeared right next to the Sword Eater and slashed at him cutting his arm off, the arm flew in the air and was burned by the flame cladding sensei’s sword.

{G-GYYAAAAAAAAAAAHH!! How? Why?! I am an undead! I Shouldn’t feel pain anymore!}

“That was painful for you? Well then, let me fix you up… {Regenerate}”(Ryo)

{W-What are y-you getting a-at, human?!}

“Don’t think about it too much, here now is your turn to attack me! Come on!”(Ryo)

{Don’t push your luck, lowly human!!}

Saying that the Sword Eater launched its weapons at Sensei once again, and the same as before Sensei didn’t move as well and let the weapons stab and cut him again, but this time he removed the weapons stabbing him one by one by himself revealing his grinning face to the Sword Eater.

“That was a good one this time, keep up at it! And now is my turn, but I’ll add another thing to my attacks from now on, {Nightmare}”(Ryo)

Sensei disappeared again from his spot and this time appeared right next to the Sword Eater and slashed at him. The Sword Eater started screaming more than before and this time it tried to distance itself from Sensei as if running away before stopping and facing him again, and once more Sensei healed the Sword Eater and asked it to attack him.

Sensei kept repeating what he was doing again and again, and by the tenth round, the Sword Eater was like{…Stop! Leave me alone already!!}, but that was not enough to stop Sensei, and he kept going at it, and whenever the Sword Eater refused to attack, Sensei would use a high-level taunting magic that leads to the Sword Eater losing control over itself attacking him again.

By the thirtieth round, the Sword Eater was like{… Please kill me! I beg you! Kill me already!}, it was my first time seeing a monster begging for its life, and what shocked me the most was the scene of a high-rank undead monster crying, seeing all of this unfold in front of me, I remembered the floor where we were taunted to betray Sensei, thank goodness we didn’t fall to that trick was all I could think about.

“I swear to never ever upset Sensei! Even at the cost of my life!...”(Shin)

“…Yeah me too!”(Loti)

After attacking the Sword Eater five more times, Sensei finally put an end to its suffering and killed it by looping its head off, the Sword Eater disappeared with an innocently happy expression on its face, right after the dungeon’s boss died light started emitting from the dungeon’s walls making the place less dimly lit.

“And with this, our job here is done!”(Ryo)

“About that, don’t you think that you overdid it a little with that Sword Eater?...”(Shin)

“I had to do it like so, I wanted the soul of the Sword Eater, so I can create a new Soul Weapon out of it, but high ranking undead monsters have the tendency to attract miasma with the corruption and evil nature in their souls, that’s why I had to break its soul down by doing what I did, forcing it to go against what it naturally should do, I forced it to wish for death, and that alone was enough to break the corruption and evil nature of the undead soul”(Ryo)

“I see…. So that’s why..”(Shin)

“For now let’s collect all the treasure in this room and go meet with Seth and Shiro”(Ryo)

Once we reached the carriage we left the swamp and after spending the night I called for Shin and Loti…

“First, congratulations you two! Your last lesson from me was what we did in the Phantom’s Dungeon, and you both passed that perfectly!”(Ryo)

“ “Thank you very much!!” ”

“and second, what are you going to do from now on? For me, I’m going to spend some days making the Soul Weapon, and since I have nothing more to teach you two, if you want we can go our separate ways, so how about that?”(Ryo)

“…Sensei, you’ll be heading to the capital, right?”(Shin)

“Yes, after I make the Soul Weapon, I’ll visit two or three more towns before heading for the capital”(Ryo)

“As I said, I’ll spend some days making the Soul Weapon and that means I’ll be coped in my workshop during those days and so these keys are the keys to enter my interdimensional house, all you have to do is channel some mana into the key and twist it and a door to my house will open in front of you”(Ryo)

“Like this?....”(Shin)

“…..A door appeared?!”(Loti)

“Come on in!”(Ryo)

I pushed my two surprised students through the door and showed them what was inside. “Welcome to my house! This is where Kage and his family live and where my workshop and lab are located!”(Ryo)

“Wow….”(Loti)

“…This is unbelievable..”(Shin)

“Seth, show them around the place! I’ll go to the workshop and to start working on the Soul Weapon”(Ryo)

“Certainly, both of you this way”(Seth)

“And you Shiro, go play around and chose a place that I can build your home in”(Ryo)

“Grroou!”(Shiro)

After that, I headed to the workshop and took out the materials I’m going to use to make this Soul Weapon out of my storage, the materials I selected were, Living Wood, Mithril, Adamantite, Hihi'irokane, Crystal Water, Magic Stones, and Dragon scales, leather, bones, claws, and fangs.

“Sensei! We came to see you work!”(Shin)

“Were you able to look around the place?”(Ryo)

“Not all of it, but we want to see you work more than looking around the house! That’s why we asked Seth-san to bring us the workshop!”(Loti)

“I would be lying if I said I wasn’t interested in seeing a Soul Weapon being created myself”(Seth)

“Well, in that case, let me show you how it’s done! But first, Black&White! Start making swords, daggers, arrows, and spears in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and be sure to make them out of Mithril, Adamantite, and Hihi'irokane!”(Ryo)

“…Whoa!”(Shin)

“These are…. Golems?!”(Loti)

“Those two are my assistants in the workshop, Black and white! They are the ones who make the weapons and armors I sell at my shops”(Ryo)

Black&White started working on making the things I asked them to make the weapons that I’ll be needing later on, on this side I started working by turning the Mithril, Adamantite, and Hihi'irokane I had into a fine powder and mixed them thoroughly, after that I did the same to the Living Wood I had and after that, I started channeling great amounts of mana into the Crystal Water in order to turn it into a high-grade Mana Crystal, but that needed a lot of time to be done, and that’s why I spent the rest of the day channeling mana into it and at the same time I enchanted and stored the weapons made by Black&White.

On the next day, I took part of the finished Mana Crystal and turned it into powder and mixed it with the Living Wood powder, after that, I took the two mixtures and melted them in the Magic Furnace I had and mixed them together as I channeled my mana into the mix, the high-grade Mana Crystal that I mixed with the Living Wood changed its properties into that of a very brittle metal thus making it possible for me to melt it in the furnace and not having it just burn in there.

The mixture of Mithril, Adamantite, and Hihi'irokane metals mingled together with the brittle Living Wood and before long the whole thing turned from bright red into glowing green in color, I took the glowing green liquid and poured it into ingots and waited for it to cool down and in the meantime, I continued enchanting the weapons made by Black&White.

In the third day, I took the rest of high-grade Mana Crystal and very carefully and slowly used {Create} to turn it into a very fine and complex wire structure that incorporated three-dimensional magic circles and formations, the whole structure was made in the shape of a Magic Staff, after that, I enchanted the structure with {Absorb}, {Efficiency}, {Outer Mana Use}, {Auto Heal}, {No Chant}, {All Attributes Affinity}, {Mana Manipulation}, {Regeneration}, {Storage}, {Telekinesis}, {Teleport}, {Intake}, {Transform}, {Shadow Arts}, {Aura}, {Fear}, {Presence Detection}, {Status Infliction}, {Soul Techniques}, {Hide Presence}, {Overload}, {Scan}, and finally {Hijack}.

In the fourth day, I took a glowing green ingot and heated it in the forge and then started hammering it into the shape of a Magic Staff the same as the wire structure all the while using {Create} on it to make sure that the shape and dimensions are right, and after that, I used {Create} again to fuse the wire structure and the glowing green Magic Staff together without breaking the wire structure, and now I have a Magic Staff made out of the glowing green Crystal Wood that had a wire structure made out of high-grade Mana Crystal run through it, after that, I took the Dragon bones, fangs, claws, and scales and turned them into powder and coated the surface of the Magic Staff with it, after that, I used the Dragon Leather to make a handle for the Magic Staff and then I took more Crystal Wood and shaped it into the shape of vines entwining around the Magic Staff and then used the Magic Stone and some blue gems to decorate the Magic staff and made it so that some of them would float on top of the Magic Staff in the shape of ice shards and crystals and used some Crystal Wood to make it look as if green vines were entwining around the ice shards and crystals.

And now finally it’s time to transfer the soul of the Sword Eater into the Magic Staff, and so I used {Soul Techniques} to do just that.

{I am……here is?}

“Hello there! You remember me, correct?”(Ryo)

{…That I do, my master Ryo-sama}

“As you can see I turned you into a Soul Weapon and here I prepared a one thousand enchanted weapons for you, now try using your original ability on them!”(Ryo)

{Got it {Possession}… It worked! B-But this is…?!}

As the Sword Eater did as I told him and all the thousand weapons disappeared from our sight, but after a brief moment, he seemed to be surprised about something.

“You felt yourself being stronger than before, right?”(Ryo)

{… That’s right, there are a lot of things that I am able to do now that I wasn’t able to do before}

“That sound about right, I’d enchant you and the weapons you ate just now quite a lot you see, now time to give you a name….Bluer, from now on your name will be Emerald, what do you think?”(Ryo)
