Chapter 10

This is a story of a certain young man.

He had saves numerous world.

He had killed a countless number of enemies.

And he had meets a countless number of people.

The first time he went to save a world, he doesn’t fear anything, not even the demon lord. He will cut anything on his path and still move forward. Even if his heart is stabbed, he will still smile fearlessly.

The second time he went to save a world, he started to see the real nature of people. Betrayal, despair, treacherous action of people and the mask that mortals wear. At one time that he was burned all over his body, he laughs towards the peoples that watching him and mock them how stupid they’re. He almost destroyed the world for the sake of his selfishness, but saved by his own consciousness, he decides to let the world be.

The third time he went to save a world, he faces the divine being who is called the Evil Deity. He keeps struggling and trains himself to death wishing that he will beat the hell out of his opponent. Even if he had being smitten from head to toe, he will still move reaching his sword to defeat the opponent in front of him. He had learned how to strengthen his resolve and determination and had achieved a new power by this action.

The fourth time he went to save a world, he suddenly absorbed into the politic of the world. He found out that the mortal is full of greed and ambition. Even though most of them is full of evil intention, that doesn’t mean there is no saint. There some which wish to plunge the world into war to gain profit, but there also some which wish to unite the land to have the peace. This is where he first met a woman who captured his heart other than the first love he had. And that is the most terrible mistake that he had regretted in his whole life.

The woman who captured his heart is a princess. A princess of a certain kingdom where she only has a pure intention to unite the land for having the equality between humans. Both of them held the same feelings between them, but the young man knows he can’t ever be together with the woman. So for the first time in his life, he gave up his one wish.

But even if he had given up, the calamity which befalls on the world didn’t stop. In front of his eyes, the world where the one he had love crumble into nothingness and the princess that he holds dear is pierced by the thunder which belongs…..to the woman who she had love first. Not stopping there, the woman tortures the soul of the woman in front of him letting him hear the painful scream from the princess. His eyes are full of despair and hatred while watching his loved one.

“Do you understand Heros? You’re mine and mine alone. I’m sorry, it is my mistake for sending you to this world. How could I imagine that a bug would be able to steal you from me.”

At that time, in the fourth time he went to save the world he learns what is “hatred” and “fear”. The man can hear the voice of the princess in the torture hall,

“It’s okay……I can still…….This is not your fault alright?”

With a pained smile, she had tried to keep the young man heart to feel relieved to give him hope. But the “hope” crumbled in just one sentence.

“Oh, that bug? Her soul had disappeared already. I had destroyed her soul with my own hand. Haaa… it feels so good when I do that. Rather than that, can you accompany me to a date?”

When he looks at the woman’s face, he can only feel fear and repulsiveness. The voice of the princess keeps playing in the young man mind for countless of time.

“It’s okay…”

“I can still handle it…”

The willpower and determination of the princess didn’t become the strength for the man, rather it becomes a nightmare for him. He didn’t have the power to save her, so he can only become a coward who hides and watches his loved one being destroyed in front of him.

The fifth time he went to save a world, he learns how to make comrade and socializing. He learns the deeper meaning of relationship and holds it to himself as something precious. This is where he regained his spirit back and he realized what he needs to do in the future.

Every time he went back to see that woman, he can only feel hatred but there’s nothing he can do about it. It’s because he was weak.

The sixth time he went to save a world, he learns the true nature of a Sovereign. The sixth world that he visited is being threatened by a Sovereign. The reason that the Sovereign have is only simple,

“This world is boring, I should reform it.”

So he tried his best to fight the Sovereign, but in the end, there is nothing he can do. He can only watch his comrade died one by one and leave himself alone.

At that time, something inside his heart broke. He thought, why is there a Sovereign? Why are they the one who controls everything? Is it strength? Or is it wisdom?

So he realized one thing,
