Finally, all of them had been annihilated when Lom massacred the entire group. As expected from the terminator, they eliminated their enemies without mercy.

"Woah, I feel my hands numb from that fight. Lom destroy that web blocking the entrance right now.” Chris earnestly asked, pointing the target.

"Yes master." His right arm transformed into a small knife, slicing the webs instantly. The gust of wind entered the place and the sunlight gave light.

Woah, cool. Incredible. As expected from my servant, he can do a lot of things that humans cannot do.

"Master, it's done" Lom lowered his head, putting his right hand in his chest.

"Okay, good job Lom.”

"You're welcome, master. I’m glad, I am able to show you my usefulness even if my body is tiny. I’ll do what I must in order for your wish to be fulfilled."

"Oh my luggage, I forgot where did I put it down again.... Oh there it is."

When I picked up my luggage, I saw a something twinkling inside the cave.

When I moved closer to the area, I discovered a lot of different kinds of metals such as the silver, copper, and especially the gold. Moving deeper and deeper through the ground, I encountered the place surrounded by several types of diamonds.

I replied, picking up the green diamond. "Lom, as your master I want to do something grateful today.”

"Master, what it is?"

"I'll make this my first turf. No one is allowed to enter this cave. Like the Umbra spiders do, I must kill all possible intruders trying to steal this beloved stone. I must! I must! Haha."

When I suddenly started to feel kind of villain, Lom sensed the black aura engulfed me. In order to save my life, he slapped my face two times to wake me up.

"What the heck are you doing, Lom?" I asked, pushing him away from me.

"Master, pull yourself. You're being drowned down in the wrong path. If you continue to act like this, the black aura will consume your mind and body. Don't be the fool in his own delusion. Therefore, you're not gonna back in your own self"

Oh shit, what just happened? I just wanted to get some of it but I said some words that are unpleasant to hear

"Thank you, Lom. I think I lost my mind from that moment. What did you say that a black aura is trying to overwhelm my mind and body?"

"Master, according to my analysis these stones were cursed. If someone desires to make it his and become obsessed with it, the black aura will transform that one into beautiful stones such like this." Lom explained, showing the green diamond he held.

"Goblins?" I asked, stepping away from it.

They were the third form humanoid creatures that could talk and do the same way just like the humans do. In addition, they had the two most evil traits of humans, that is the greediness and vainglory. Also, they were thoroughly more powerful than a regular human."

"So these new species were created by science then. This mean that they're artificial beings has been lived here for a such a long time. But that is not the point, what wrong with this stones?"

"When we first encounter them, I collected some blood sample from their body. I cannot be possibly wrong about this matter. Look, master, it's so beautiful right?"

"Yes indeed. It's so beautiful"

"But according to my scanner, its original body is a goblin. A male goblin"

Lom dropped the stone and helped me to stand up. We leave the place to prevent anything unpleasant pace.

"Lom what about this metals? Are these cursed items too?"

"Analysis complete. No sir. They are ordinary metals just like in your old world."

After I gathered and collected the metals, we exited the cave and looked for another shelter. Suddenly, rampaging birds trying to fly away from something. A burst of explosion trembling the surface makes us feel uneasy.

"....Lom, what was that? An earthquake?"

"Scanning complete. Master, it was not an ordinary earthquake, it was caused by unknown power. We must leave this place to keep you safe. I'll take the lead, follow me, master---"

"Wait, I heard something"

"Master, we must get away from here. You must not do anything within his area, we don't know yet what's happening in that place." Lom explicitly warned, pulling my sleeve to stop my advance.

"....What was that? Human voice? Lom, I think I heard some people calling for help. We must go after them." I asked, trying to breakthrough to his hand.

Lom released me and nodded he would do what I pleased. I ran faster as I can in order to see what was happening in that area while Lom followed my tail. We almost came in the place, an isolated, grassy and humid one. We found a lot of traces of swordfight and maybe a fierce enchant of magic. There were four corpses lying down the ground and cannot be identified anymore.

According to the analysis of Lom, they were former humans of this world. I was surprised because I never thought I would encounter these people in the first time but not like this moment.

"Please help us! Someone help us!" a young woman's voice begged.

"Shit, over there. Lom, let's go!"
