Chapter-17: Unknown Factor, Second Match, and Regret of Underestimating.

“Huh?”

Agun knew that he is stronger than ordinary 10th level Beginner who can take out even Raider League, but it’s unexpected to kill a 10th level Beginner with only one move.

Yes, he killed the Chupacabra in test easily, but in his Double Fist Boulder, he could pour his 70-90% strength, in his best condition he can pour even 100% of his strength. And that 100% strength was used against the Chupacabra that’s why he could defeat it with a single move.

But in his last uppercut, he used no more than 50% of his strength and he just burst him.

In real-world spectators were more confused and astonished than him.

“W-wait what just happen? I couldn’t see anything, that guy dashed while using his Iron Fist and the moment he got in front him he attacked the other person but then out of nowhere the attacker's head flown while other guy shifted his position all on a sudden.”

“You are still in 8th level Beginner I bet you couldn’t see his speed movement but I saw that he used an uppercut to defeat him, but…”

“Even if he has speed, it doesn’t mean he could defeat him in one move.”

“Wha! What's monstrous strength! Is he really in Beginner League?”

“But why we don’t know him! I never saw him when we attend admission test. Is he someone from the second year?”

“No, if he is we already have information about him, let’s asked the registrar.”

“He said, that boy is a freshman… I think he kept a low key in the admission test.”

That was the status of the peanut gallery. It is not that astonishing to killing a 10th level Beginner despite being the same realm in a single move but he, Agun was unknown factor to them that’s why it’s got their back in surprise, if they had known his strength before, they wouldn’t act like that instead would be cheered and clapped after watching a good show.

When the defeated guy had returned to the real world he was still in a daze. He doesn’t know what happened. When he reached Agun’s range suddenly everything got blank. He even doesn’t know how he did lose.

Agun also came back to the real world after finishing his first match. The thing is in Doppelganger Reality even if one spends all of his energy, when they returned to the real world their's all energy or more preciously spiritual power will be restored to the point before they transferred there, all they felt is mental fatigue. So let alone lost of spiritual power, he hardly felt any fatigue after less than 5 sec exchange, Agun is good to go for his 2nd match without any problem.

“I am ready for the 2nd match.”

Agun said to the registrar student.

“Ah… huh… I am sorry. There is no new candidate for competition so we will repeat them those who didn’t lose their battle before finishing all four battles. Those who have only one match remaining, serial-wise will be first to play. And it is the 16th contestant... if you want to finish your game please come forward.”

After that, a short hair girl came in front of registrar, she told him,

“Yes, I am ready.”

“Okay, no.39 Agun vs no.16 Norel, battle start.”

As he announced, both Agun and Norel transfer to the Doppelganger Reality.

The girl is also a 10th level beginner. She said to him,

“There might be the possibility I will lose to you but I won’t give up the match. Even though I am from class A17, still I am from Class A so I have my own pride.”

Hearing her Agun smiled,

“Is that so? Then it seems like I have to struggle then. But I won’t hold back.”

After their verbal exchange Norel takes out a card. That card is spatial storage card. One can store anything depends on how big space it got, it cannot store living being though. Of course, Agun has one.

From that card Norel take out a double-edged sword. It’s not sprite or stellar weapon, a normal one.

Grabbing that sword with both of her's hands and lifting it to the same level of her shoulder, she pointed its sharp head toward Agun.

“Here I come…”

Saying that she started to dash toward him while pointing her sword at him.

Agun evades her cliché attack by stepping one side. Seeing that he avoided, she stops her leg and slice her sword toward Agun’s direction by spinning her right foot's toe.

Agun barely manages to avoid it again thanks to his eyes.

‘She has good style. She could have stopped and ready for her next attack but instead, she attacked with a nice spin, which got me off guard. I would have injured or even worse slice half if it is not for my eyes,’ Agun thought inwardly.

But it was not all of the parts. When she saw he avoided her 2nd attack she arranged her two feet together and again using her toes she jumped into the air and by somersaulting in the air she heavily sliced her sword toward Agun.

“Crap!”

He was still in the position of backstepping but Norel was faster than he expected and let his guard down again. Even though he saw that her sword was coming he might not evade it totally.

To see no way to escape he let his body to fell down to ground. Because the slash which is coming, will create half-moon projection if he just fell down he might avoid critical injury.

And that’s what happened, but Agun eventually got injured. There is a wound on his shoulder which was created by Norel’s sword slash.

But again it wasn’t the end of Norel’s attack when she touched the ground with her toes she poured force on them and using that force she threw her sword’s sharp head toward him like a spear with her right hand.

Agun was aware this time and move his body from there by spinning and then he stood with a somersault. He avoided it successfully if he was 0.2 sec slow the sword’s sharp head might have stabbed his throat!

He hurriedly stepping back and making the distance from Norel.

It’s true, in contrast to strength he is stronger than her but she got skill with the sword which might be equal to his martial art skill.

He is regretting now because he underestimate this girl. To kill a person snake don’t need to devour them, it could just poison him to death with their venom and this girl is clearly a poisonous snake.
