After returning the dorm Norel was quite happy.
Seeing that, her childhood friend who lived in the same dorm said,
“Seems like something good happened with you.”
Norel didn’t notice her friend and almost screamed out.
“Don’t surprise me out of nowhere.”
Norel said while placing her hand on her chest.
“No, actually I was sitting here before you came, you are the one who didn’t notice me even though now is daytime.”
Her friend said.
“Oh, sorry.”
“No worries, but you are so happy that you are even ignored me.”
She complained to Norel.
“You see, I meet an interesting man.”
“Oh, love in first sight…”
“Hack, no. I fight him in a competition. I lost to him even though I use my mirage sword.”
“So you should be unhappy, no? I mean you have lost.”
“Actually, I am interested into him because even though he is in the same level and league like me he actually has seen through my mirage and detect my actual body.”

The first arc of the novel is set inside our modern world, but as the mysterious events around Calin intensifies, the hidden secrets in the world start to become more fantastical. The story follows Calin, a young orphan in search of answers. But, the answers he seeks will change his life and that of his friends forever, for the secrets that caused his situation have far greater ramifications than the small village of Lamb's Crest could have known.
