"Ho, so this is a labyrinth entrance?" Damion and Tsubuki were in front of massive door. Damion was alerted by his skeleton soldier that was tasked to tail Daitan's party who were also in search for dungeons.

"Do they not know how to sense mana properly?" Tsubuki felt the door with her hand, you could tell the rank of a labyrinth by sensing its mana. At first glance, this labyrinth would seem like a group of silver ranks could handle.

"The mana it projects, its a diamond rank labyrinth no doubt about it." Tsubuki confirmed it with her keen sense of mana.

"Well, hopefully they aren't dea-" Damion lost connection with his skeleton soldier which was with Daitan's party.

"Shit, someone just destroyed my scout. Tsubuki, Alvollas, it seems we're going to face someone stronger than Orpheus." Damion only saw a glimpse of the creature that attacked his skeleton but he knew it was not going to be an easy fight.

Damion and Tsubuki entered the Labyrinth door, they seemed to have been transported to a different place. They were on a magic platform in a cave, Tsubuki used some fire magic to illuminate the place and saw a way out. It was amazing, there were flying beasts that flew across the place, an entire jungle-like biome was here.

"So this is what a real labyrinth is." Damion and Tsubuki were in awe by the magneficient view but that did not last for long.

"Ahhhh! Someone please help, help m-" A sound pierced through the labyrinth level. Damion could hear where the scream came from and rushed to find the creature that destroyed his skeleton.

"What more people, such a pain to kill all of these pests." A large man, that resembled more of a mountain than a man since this guy was huge. He had eyes of a beast, long hair and a mighty enormous axe on his back. Damion saw that man with Daitan's head in his hand.

"Ugh, i'll be kind and kill you without any pain so be grateful." The man had thought that Damion was like the group of silver ranks but he was suddenly mistaken, Damion wanted to show this man what pain was.

[Greater Strength activated]

[Shadow Step activated]

[Telepathy activated]

Damion used telepathy to pull the man to him while using shadow step for momentum, Damion multiplied his strength and punched him right in the gut. The beastly man had been sent into the jungle with such force that you could see it clearly from above, one whole line of the jungle was destroyed. Damion had sent the man to the other side of the labyrinth level.

"Ezra, Lepan come out, protect Tsubuki while I deal with this maggot." Damion had summoned out Ezra and Lepan so that Tsubuki could concentrate on supporting him.

[Fireball activated]

Damion did not have the advanced fire spells like Tsubuki but his magic intensity could rival hers. A giant fire ball came launching towards the man, an explosion happened almost a third of the jungle on the labyrinth level was destroyed.

"Aha not bad, you almost mede me feel something there!" The man hit his stomach a few times and burst into laughter. Damion was now even more furious with the man.

[Pathokinesis activated]

[Death Glare activated]

[Illusion activated]

[Mind Read activated]

Pathokinesis allowed one to influence enemies emotions, Damion wanted to make his enemy feal fear, he activated illusion to imitate the most frightening person the man had ever seen. The man stopped laughing, Damion had seen a figure that trancended fear itself. It had wings, a long tail and sharp teeth, it looked human but it had an aura of a demon. The man knew that Damion was reading his mind and saw Damion turn into the person he feared most.

"How dare you! I might be scared of Dante but I respect him even more, I shall kill you for trying to mock his image!" The man charged at Damion with full strength, Damion felt that if he was going to be hit now he would surely die.

[Shadow Step activated]

[Elemental Enchantment Light Wind Boots]

Damion made use of his agility and dodged the man who had crashed into the wall of the labyrinth level, it was as if an earthquake happened. The ground was shaking, the man had turned full beast. Damion felt a massive amount of bloodlust inside the man, who raised his axe again to charge at Damion once more.

"Phoneix of Fire be with me, give me the strength to chant. Fire Roaring Dragon!" Tsubuki sent a massive fire spell towards the man. What happened next was bewildering, Tsubuki's magic had just disappered as if something swallowed it whole. The man had absorbed the fire spell Tsubuki used, his aura seemed to grow even more powerful now. Damion almost could not react to the man's next movement, his strength had doubled now. Tsubuki could only watch in horror while Damion was punched repeatedly. Damion was at death's door, he could no longer feel any pain. Alvollas did what he could to help Damion dodge the man's attacks but everything has a limit. The man knew that Damion was finished so he left him there to suffer until death and went to Tsubuki who could not do anything but watch. Damion's skeletons were rendered useless if their master could not use his mana, Tsubuki had tears in her eyes for not being able to protect her companion.

"I'll let you off with a painless death unlike that one, be grateful." The man swinged his axe and a cloud of dust rose up in the air and the man was sent up to the ceiling of the labyrinth level.

Damion was standing in front of Tsubuki, with the same form when they fought Lepan. Tsubuki felt happy but also felt fear, Damion's aura exuded a demon-like one like the beastly man who fell from the ceiling back into the ground.

The man's veins popped out, his face was red with rage. He coughed out blood from Damion's punch, he had never coughed out blood from anyone else except Dante the Labyrinth's True Boss. He leaped towards Damion.

[Telekinesis activated]

[Mana Grip activated]

[Greater Strength activated]

Damion was now the one thrashing the man, many holes had been made on the labyrinth, it was truly terrifying that Damion was able to exceed his own power. Though Damion now had an advantage in strength, the man still was keeping up and adapting to his strong foe.

The climax of the battle has begun!
