《Up In Space》Please Exit the Vehicle .7 You Need to Adjust Your Angle

“Hey, enough,” Iain complained. “If I’ve got these things in my head, how come I can’t access your so called galactic network then?”
Arc stopped his assault mid swing, looked back at him and raised a finger.
“Oh,” he said. “It takes a bit of time for some species to adapt. If they don’t drive you insane. There’s a small chance of that. Disclaimer.”
He held his thumb and forefinger close together. For a moment, it looked like Arcs’ fingers were much thicker than humanly possible. And they had claws. Iain's mind recoiled. They went back to normal.
“Or they might shut of you brain’s higher functions,” he added. There are side effects. We’ll know soon enough.”
Iain let out a breath, leaned back hard on the lounger. The vibrating ramped up.
“On second thought,” he replied. “Feel free to beat the crap out of each other.”
“Oh, I love permission,” Arc said, and punched his twin in the face.
Iain however, had little interest in watching Arl and Arc beat each other into unconsciousness. Once the two big guys were rolling about on the floor, battering and howling at each other, he left the room, wandered around for a while. He revised his impression of the ship. It was more like an airport than a boat. Vast, empty, utilitarian. So many empty rooms. After a few minutes, he realized all he’d been drinking was catching up with him. Or maybe the gravity was on the fritz again. Either way, he was in need of a particular kind of relief. And then maybe some food. Hopefully there was something here he could eat.
But where was the washroom on the ship? Did it even have a washroom he could even recognize? The thought briefly alarmed him.

He considered pissing in a corner, but that seemed rather gauche. He would if he had to, but there might be another way. Maybe the ship’s synthetic intelligence could offer a solution.
“Skipper?” he asked to the air. Nothing. “I need to go to the washroom. You do have washrooms, don’t you?”
There are washrooms, came a reply. He tried to place the voice. It sounded familiar, like someone he might have met. It didn’t have much of an accent, so that wasn’t likely to have been any of his clients. They were mostly South Asians these days.
“Okay,” Iain replied. “I need to go to one, can you tell me where one is?”
Do you want to wash yourself? It asked. You were washed after decanting.
He was washed by-? No, better to not think about that.
“No,” Iain was getting irritated, not to mention antsy. “I need to take a leak, urinate, piss, any of those words make sense to you?”
Checking… was the response. Then nothing for a minute
He let out a breath. His need was getting worse by the moment.
“Just tell me were the fucking washroom is or I’ll do it all over your pristine white walls!” he shouted. Not that they were that pristine. Most of them were getting kind of grimy.
No need to raise your voice, the Skipper replied in mild irritation. The washroom is two intersections a head of you and the first door on the right.
“Thank you,” Iain replied. He hoped the stalls he found in there were what he thought they were. Maybe that whole parallel evolution theory was true. What he found looked like a washroom. that was good. What came later wasn't so much.
You need to adjust your angle down ten degrees, the ship’s voice offered once he got started.
He looked around for a camera, didn’t see one. But again, this was a spaceship.
“Are you watching me?” he asked, a shiver running up his spine.

My Servant Is An Elf-Knight From Another World
It was just like any other day, or so I thought at least. The birds were chirping up on trees, clouds were rolling by the bright blue sky and Elves were dumpster diving in the alleyway. Okay, one of those three didn't sound right... I had a boring life once. Recently though, it has become less boring... to put it one way. Finding a random Elf in the dumpster? Heh, must be a Monday. A normal person would have walked by. A normal person would have ignored it. I must be a pretty weird guy, then. Now I have this Elf swearing her allegiance to me. What's next, vampires? Better not jinx it.

The Chimera's Dungeon
Reborn in a fantasy world as a Dungeon Core. This story follows the protagonist as finds himself thrown into a new word. A world filled with magic and monsters. Now, normally, this would fill our protagonist with a lot of excitement and, admittedly, a little bit of fear - if it weren't for that fact that he is one of the monsters. A dungeon core, harbingers of death and fortune. And so, his current circumstances instead fill him with a lot of fear and maybe just a little bit of excitement. Join the adventure to watch that fear fade away as he realises just how limitless the power at his ‘fingertips’ is. The power of creation and destruction. Of life and death. Additional Tag(s): OP Main Character - The MC is definitely stronger than other Dungeons of the same age, however, he is by no means the strongest in the world. Yet.

After Z
The signs were all there. A mysterious fever spreading in the wake of the pandemic. Increasing incidents of unrest with surprisingly little coverage by the media. Breakdowns in basic services. Nick had thought for years that total social collapse would come in his lifetime – he just never expected that collapse to come from the unquiet dead. As soon as he was sure enough that the potential danger outweighed the awkwardness of admitting that yes, the dead were rising, Nick grabbed his bug out bag and bugged out. It felt, at times, that the zombie movies, comics, and games he’d grown up with had been preparing for this moment. And Nick was right. But also very very wrong. After Z is an apocalyptic occult interactive serial about survivors hiding from the dead in a forest preserve. A new chapter is posted every week, and every week supporters vote on which way the story flows. This story will be added to daily until it's caught up with its current state elsewhere; if you don't want to wait you can read ahead on my blog.

Rooms of the Desolate
Rooms of the Desolate is a collection of short stories designed to guide the reader through the many rooms and mysteries of the bleak and greyscale labyrinth of the Desolate. The first entry, "The Forever Tower" follows an unnamed wanderer climbing an endless, colourless tower; the only world they have ever known. As they slowly ascend alongside the masses, they consider the nature of their world and look to the corridors as temptation beckons. The second entry, "Production Line", follows an engineer in a boundless factory, who encounters a product that does not wish to bow to the overseers and makes them question their belief in the truth and duties they were made to believe. Content guidelines: Current entries do not include explicit profanity, but future entries may do so, hence the presence of that tag. Some entries do include gore and violence, though not currently to particularly extreme degrees. The Desolate is exactly that: a desolate world; as such, it is bleak, downtrodden, and may deal with mental struggles. Cover art credit: Adam Borkowski on Pexels.
