“He… hey buddy, wanna put that sword down? It’s a little cold against my troat…” (Mars)
“No, she’s good where she’s now. Why do you wear the stormcloak’s armor? I don’t remember ever seeing you in Windhelm.” (Stormcloak soldier)
“I was brought in the same cart as Ralof and Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak. The imperials were executing us one by one when the dragon attacked. I ran and got to here. In my way down, I put on all of what could help me escape. I found a body with this armor on in the torture room a little higher of here and put it on.” (Mars)
“Saw any imperials?” (S. soldier)
“I didn’t saw any but I heard voices, at least two, that were getting near me when I was putting on the armor, so I hurried down here and you know the rest.” (Mars)
“You got all the way down here and didn’t see any imperials? I don’t believe you.” (S; soldier)
“They were all trying to lead the villagers to safety when I escaped. They were all following general Tulius’ orders. I didn’t stay to see what they will make out of me.” (Mars)
“Good, your story matches the others. You can come out, he’s safe.” (S. soldier)
One, two, three, five, six and seven. Shit, that’s a lot.
“You scared the shit out of me there.” (Mars)
“Better safe than sorry man. So, who are you?” (S. soldier)
“Mars, same to you.” (Mars)
“Olaf, you were saying that there were voices behind you?” (Olaf)
“Yes, at least two but we can set up a trap behind a corner a little higher or the best is in the torture room. There are cells in each side of the corridor and a large one with shelves that blocks the view from the exterior. Best place to set up a trap if they are imperials.” (Mars)

“Okay, you four, you follow me and we’ll see to that. You two, you look after him, he doesn’t leave this room! Am I clear?” (Olaf)
“Cristal clear Boss” (S. soldiers)
“Man, it’s rude. You don’t believe me?” (Mars)
“Oh but I believe you. Better safe than sorry though. Let’s go” (Olaf)
“Okay, it’s your choice. Conjure familiar! FLAMES!” (Mars)
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh” (The seven stormcloak soldiers)
Shit their clothes armor is a lot more flammable than I thought, they are being roasted. They are blinded, better take action now.
“Attack! Hadvar NOW!” (Mars)
Shit! Will it always be so disgusting!
“It’s done! Everybody stop!” (Hadvar)
“Hahaha, those stormcloaks are just meat for our swords hahaha…” (I. soldier[1])
*Puke*
“Sorry… didn’t mean to break the mood. But the second isn’t better than … *Puke* the first time.” (Mars)
“Let’s rest on the other side and go when Mars will be better.” (Hadvar)
“Thanks man but let’s go now, I can’t rest here even if I want to and we’re near the exit now.” (Mars)
“Your choice, lead the way then” (Hadvar)
“Take their weapons before we go, I don’t know for you but your colleagues took away all of my possessions when they captured me near the border. I don’t really want to start my life in Skyrim as a beggar. So, if you could lend me a hand in transporting all of those so that I can sell them to a blacksmith or a merchant in the first village we cross, It would be appreciable.
If you find a weapon that’s best than your current swords take them as thanks for helping me.” (Mars)
“Well, if you continue to nearly kill all the enemy we come across on the first move, I’ll be happy to lend you a hand for free.” (I. soldier[1])

“Me too.” (I. soldier[2])
“Same for me man, if you weren’t here, I think I would be dead by now.” (Hadvar)
“Thanks, first drink is on me at the next town.” (Mars)
“That’s something I like to hear haha.” (I. soldier[1])
Well, with all that, I’m richer by a few golds and some weapons.
“Okay, let’s go. Wait my signal when we reach a corner.” (Mars)
Okay, let’s see, here is a pouch. I’m getting richer by the minute now… and I should reach the room with the spiders by now… here it is.
“Guys, there are five spiders in this cave, three the height of the knee and two the height of the hip. We go in there we get them together, I burn them and we finish them. If you can kill one before that, feel free to do. Any question?” (Mars)
“Yeah, how do we make them regroup?” (I. soldier[2])
“We go in there while shouting, they see us, they chase us and we come back here in the corridor, when they reach the entrance, they’ll be all in the group. Anyone else? ... Let’s go then.” (Mars)
They sure are loud when they want to. Okay they are following.
“FLAMES!” (Mars)
“Okay guys, our turn now.” (Hadvar)
“OOOOOOOOOOH” (I. soldiers)
*Pfffff pffffffff pfffffffffff* Magic sure is tiring, I should drink a potion while they do that.
“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!” (I.soldier[2])
“Shit! He got caught by the spi… aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!” (I. soldier[1])
“Hadvar get back! FLAMES!” (Mars)
“You can stop Mars! They are dead now!” (Hadvar)
“Shit! Shit! Shit! Look around and check if there is anything else I need to drink a magicka potions or I’ll faint.” (Mars)
“Take your time man, I’ll take a look.” (Hadvar)
“Give me five minutes and I’m good to go. But we’ll need to make another bag for all that’s left here. I’ll make one with that stormcloak armor, I don’t think we’ll find some anymore.” (Mars)
“Yeah if the spiders were still here, it means that nobody passed in a while.” (Hadvar)
“Here you go.” (Mars)
“I’ve got all the weapons.” (Hadvar)
“Okay, we should go then.” (Mars)
The big pouch there and I forgot the bear…
“Shhhhhh. *Whispers* There’s a bear there, let’s stay close to the wall and go past him.” (Mars)
“*Whispers* Yeah, great idea.” (Hadvar)
*Crac*
*GROAAAAAAAAR*
“Why does it always have to be me?” (Mars)

A Sky of Star and Strength
Jake was just an intelligent kid living a pretty regular life in Mill Creek, Washington. Then the apocalypse happens. Now with his Dad out of the country and totally in yet out his element, this is his story. My take on a system apocalypse based around "life force" as a currency. The main character will have a special power (as will most of the other characters) and be rather OP, you have been warned. Like many of the authors on this site I have no formal writing experience so writing tips and grammar corrections are much appreciated :)
