I woke up with a start, jumping out of bed, while summoning my staff from my inventory and looking around. For some reason, I had sensed being watched up close while I was sleeping. I didn't think about that more than a second before I prepared myself in case it was an intruder.

Me: "Who's there?"

Voice: "HEHE, wow handsome, I didn't expect you to notice me. Not only are you cute, you are quite talented as well. Can't wait to see more from you."

Wait a minute. This angelic voice sounded familiar. it took a second, but I recognized it.

Me: "Christy?"

Christy: "You remembered me. I'm flattered. Looks like I made quite the impression on you when we met that day."

She chuckled and then there was light warping a bit in front of my door. From the light appeared the government employee I met when I got my ID. My heart fluttered a bit at the sight. Her brown hair was tied up in a ponytail and her blue eyes were shining with amusement. She had on a white tank top that showed off her perfect torso and chest, exposing a bit of her cleavage, and white shorts, that showed off her amazing waist and long, firm legs. She looked at me with a grin, that made it look like she was having fun teasing me. I was confused as all hell. What was she doing here.

Me: "What are you doing here? Don't get me wrong, I am glad to see you, but don't you have work?

She let out a warm chuckle before she started walking towards me while swaying he hips and teasing me once more with a wink.

Christy: "First, I do not have to work at the ID office today. That job is sort of a temporary gig. I only fill in when needed. My full time job is an adventurer, like most people in this city. As to why I am here....of course it is look after you. I was hired by the guild master to watch over you. I was supposed to be here yesterday, but I was too busy. It was a shame too because he told me how important and talented you are. I couldn't wait to meet you again. I am also aware of the quest your group is on, so I also have to make sure you are training. With that said, are you surprised?"

Me: "Y..Y..Yeah. A bit. I didn't expect you to be the one he said he trusted so much. What is your connection with him?"

Christy: "HEHE! That's a surprise. I won't spoil it for you. For now, get changed, and go downstairs. It's going to be a long day. If you finish your training quick enough, then I might....HEHE!"

She trailed off the last part of what she was saying, leaving a bit of mystery. She then gave a quick wink and a teasing smile before turning around and leaving the room, heading downstairs. I raised my brows curious to what she could mean before I got changed for the day, and head down as well. I saw her in the kitchen making breakfast.

Christy: "Alright, get to training while I make us some breakfast. Once it's done, I will come get you. Once we are done, I want to see how you train, and what you can do. The guild master didn't tell me about it and just said, I would be in for a surprise. I am quite curious. Now, hop to it cutey."

I looked at her in suspicion. Did she like me or did she just enjoy teasing me and calling me handsome and cutey all the time? I didn't ponder this for more than a few seconds before I shook my head clearing these thoughts away and heading outside for today's training. However, when I pulled up the mission screen, what I read almost made me spit blood.

Bonus daily mission I: Ask Christy out on a date

Ask Christy on a date and get her to say yes. Have her affection reach 50 before the date's completion.

SYSTEM, WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FLYING FUCK?! Are you fucking with me? God dam scoundrelly system, what is this? Where is my regular training mission? Give it back! despite me telling at my system, I blushed with my face turning tomato red almost. I then helplessly collapsed onto the ground giving a light groan after I realized the system wasn't changing it's mission. Fuck!

Now, feeling embarrassed and frustrated, I needed to vent this. So I started doing the exercises I usually did. I got into push up position and started pumping them out. Once I got to the point where I was starting to struggle, I got up and started to run as fast as I can around the yard. With how my agility was, I was like a blur. While I was running, I heard Christy yell out from the kitchen.

Christy: "Breakfast's ready handsome."

I slowly came to a stop, panting a bit. Feeling the embarrassment come back after I heard her voice. I tried to calm myself back down. I took a couple of deep breaths and cleared my mind of this mission and the damn system. Once I calmed down enough, I went towards the house to face the toughest challenge I have ever had in this world as well as on Earth: asking a girl on a date.

Inside, the food was on the table, and the plates were filled with bacon, sausage, eggs, and toast. Looking at her, I went to the table and sat down across from her.

Me: "Thanks for the food."

I didn't look at her, once again feeling nervous and embarrassed. She must have picked up on this as she began teasing me once again.

Christy: Aww, handsome. Why are you so nervous for? Did the training wear you out? Do you want me to feed you?"

I nearly fell out of my chair.

Me: "No..Yes...I mean, I'm fine. The training was OK. I can feed myself.

Oh god! I was acting like a damn fool. It was this damn systems fault. hearing me stumble out the words, she gave another soft laugh. My god, it was heavenly.

Christy: "Oh my. You look so red. Are you feeling nervous and embarrassed? Do you have feelings for me handsome? I don't mind, you are quite the looker. However, you need to finish your training for the day. Work first and then fun."

She gave another laugh. Man, I just wanted to disappear. This was so awkward for me, with her constant teasing and my mission. Breakfast continued on with silence as I tried to calm down and build my confidence to do this. She must have realized i was thinking about thinngs because she didn't tease me anymore during that time. Right before we finished, I finally built up enough courage.

Me: "Christy, do you want to go on a d...date with me?"

Fuck, I still stumbled with my words. i looked at her to see her reaction. At first she was shocked, then it quickly transformed into a grin.

Christy: "My, my. I was right. I was wondering when you were going to speak up. You looked so embarrassed and nervous I didn't think you would. Hmmm, teasing you has been so fun. So, as long ass you finish your training and explain more about your ability, I will agree."

Somehow, I started feeling even more embarrassed and nervous. However, I took a breath and calmed down a bit. this was for the mission. i would not let the scoundrelly system beat me! So, I looked at her and started explaining to her everything about it. I even pulled up different screens like the inventory, my stats and the system store to show her. the last thing I brought up was the daily missions because of...well, you know.

Me: "Lastly, I have missions the system gives me to complete daily that allows me to gain even more stats. I usually have to do exercises a certain a certain amount of times. I can even go over the amount to earn bonus stats."

She then asked about the one word I hoped she wouldn't bring up.

Christy: "Usually? Sometimes, you don't have to do these exercises? Could you show me?"

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! I frowned. If I showed her, she'd think that the only reason I asked her on a date was because of this mission. Technically, this was true, however, after it gave it to me, I realized, I was looking forward to a date with her. Dam! This became so much more fucked!

Me: "I...I can show you, but before I do, I want to clarify something. This mission has nothing to do with the reason why I asked you out."

With that, I pulled up the mission for her to see. I looked at her as she read what it said. When she finished, she made a pouty expression, and my heart trembled.

Christy: "Hmmph, so you only asked me out because of this?"

She crossed her arms, her eyes glaring at me. I panicked.

Me: "N...No. I mean, I...I did get the mission without having the idea of asking you out, but after I got it and i started running around to vent out my feelings, I.....realized....I was actually looking forward to going on with you and getting to know you. I apologize if this looks like I only asked you because of this. I realize that this is technically true, but it also made me realize....that..I want to get to know you."

At the end, my voice started to get smaller as my nervousness increased more and more. at then end, I was looking at the floor. The was silence for a few minutes before I heard her angelic laugh again.

Christy: "I was just teasing you handsome. I can tell that you wouldn't do that. I just wanted to see if you liking me was actually true. Also, there was no need to be nervous. I like you too. Yes, I would love to go on a date with you. But first, let me see your abilities and skills in action. Let's have a spar. After that, you can take me out."

She then gave me a wink and followed up with:

Chrissy: "I am looking forward to see where this night takes us..."
