《TUW》TFW A Crybaby Is A Few Thousand Times Stronger Than You (Chapter 31)

How in the world did she get out anyway? Oh wait, Xenon sent me out so she must have been sent out by the cranky deity as well. You might be wondering "Alan, how did you spot her so fast?" (tho I doubt you were actually wondering that but whatever). Well, the reason was because her hair was sparkling like MAD! I kid you not, every strand was like real gold (I've seen some in jewellery shops). It wasn't that obvious in the darkness of the abyss, but I started to wonder if she was a fashion freak that decided to coat every strand of her hair with a layer of gold for the aesthetics.
"Huh?" All of a sudden, she gasped and turned around. How the heck did she spot me the moment I looked at her?
"Alan?" Griaugh asked. "Why have you froz- Oh! Wow, that's a hot girl!"
I wanted to yell "Shut up!" at him but I was too distracted by the sight of her. And without a moment to waste, she started to walk straight towards me. Wha? What did she want? Was she still mad about something at the abyss? It could be for any other reason, but the stern look on her face mad me feel rather nervous.
"Sorry!" She shouted (attracting the attention of a bunch of random onlookers). "I'm sorry I ran away and left you to fight those monsters! I was so scared... I'm such a coward.. wahhhhhhh (supposed to be a crying sound)!"
I was completely speechless from shock. Talk about unexpected!
"Oh. Okay. It's fine." I grabbed the very confused Griaugh by the shoulder and pulled him along with me, heading towards the counter.
"Wait!" She cried (haha, puns). "I'm really sorry, please forgive me!"

Why did she have to so childish? Her cuteness was even making other people stare at me in disgust (for 'mistreating a girl probably), but I really didn't know how to deal with her so I was just trying too leave as soon as possible.
"Excuse me madam, I would like to buy these books."
"That will be a hundred and one Souks (1010) please."
I poked Griaugh until he snapped out of his daze and paid for them.
"Thank you and come again!"
As we exited the store and had Griaugh hand me the book, the girl ran out behind us.
"Wait, please! Don't leave me behind, let me join you guys!"
My goodness, this girl is so troublesome! But to my surprise (and delight), Griaugh stood up to 'fend' the nuisance off.
"Look, I'm not sure why you are so adamant on following us, but we are going on a quest to fight powerful monsters!"
A look of shock flashed through her eyes, and I almost thought she would decide to leave.
"No, I will be brave this time! I won't run away from monsters like the last time!"
"You see, it's not about bravery alone. We are going off to fight very powerful monsters, and you will get hurt if you aren't strong enough!"
And all of a sudden, she waved her hand, causing a nearby two storied building to float up in the air, somehow not crumbling whatsoever. Griaugh's eyes widened, his jaw dropping. I was shocked as well. I knew she could send a Treknuken flying, but complete control of such a gigantic object was insane! She then gently put down the building, and it was as if nothing had happened from the start.

And before I knew it, Rice was healed and the legion was ready to march again, but this time with the addition of a few powerful healers that the sect master had hired just in case. Really, it made me wonder why he didn't think of that earlier (maybe he was a too little panicked about the chaos seed and didn't prepare properly?).

"Whoa, so many people!" The girl said.
"Go ask that old man over there if you want to join us for the fight." Griaugh whispered to her as he pointed to the sect master. The sect master somehow managed to hear what Griaugh said and turned, frowning in displeasure. Griaugh tensed up and bowed to the master several times while apologising softly, while the girl (I'm just going to call her Goldie) headed up to the old ma- I mean sect master.
"Old man, I want to fight the monsters too!" Goldie squeaked.
"STOP CALLING ME OLD MAN! DON'T YOU PEOPLE HAVE RESPECT FOR ELDERS?" The old man yelled angrily at Goldie.
"Sorry..." Goldie used the ultimate move of any beauty: puppy eyes.
"Haaah..." The master sighed, defeated. "We don't just recruit random people to fight, only the strong would be of use!"
Cue the random flying trees and the cries of shock from the students and the sect master.
"Incredible, such power!" The sect master gasped in shock. "How are you so powerful at such an ag- Co-could it be the fabled Celestial rank (MDMG: +2000%, MAS: +4000%)?"
"Ehh? What's that?"

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.

The Shadow Rogue
Since ages past, the kingdoms of [Cuntersia] and [Wankeryl] have been locked in a stalemate of unending war. Recently, they have been in a conflict for [Kokaine], a resource that can only be found between the borders of the two countries. Revered for its ability to significantly raise the magical and physical potential of anyone who uses it, neither kingdom could afford to yield the vast fields of [Kokaine] to the other. As the two superpowers clash, a single hero emerges, bestowed with overwhelming combat ability and strength. Possessing the finesse to turn the tide of the war either way, which side would he choose? Or will he forge his own path of solitary conquest and get high by sniffing [Kokaine]? NOTE: This story takes place in a medieval fantasy setting with swords and magic. There are Elves, Beastkin, Orcs, and monsters as well. There will be a lot of lame jokes and names, please don't be offended. And remember to leave a review! This is just a joke novel, although it gets a bit more serious after the first few chapters. Credits to user Tanaka Tomoyuki for suggesting me the synopsis.
