In a particularly filthy corridor corner on the derelict ship Mary Lou.

The temperature is slowly rising and condensation is slowly forming drops that are slowly moving towards this particular corner mixing with the dust and dirt making a small collection of very dirty water. Small drops of various chemicals, oils and other fluids are also slowly moving towards this particular spot merging together with the already dirty water due to the peculiar environmental conditions. 

After some time there is roughly enough dirty fluid to fill a small teacup and this small collection of fluid is just enough to overlap the small gap that is between the corridor floor and wall panels. 

Due to a small earth fault in the ships wiring, a small current starts running through this small puddle, starting a bizarre chemical reaction, which never before have been observed in the known space. 

All of the dirt and dust that is in the fluid dissolves and the fluid becomes completely uniform, following this the fluids viscosity becomes higher, and it starts rising up forming a small ball with a flat bottom. 

Suddenly the ball shakes as if reacting to something, and in fact this is exactly what has happened. 

The ball has become sentient, it has become something new, it has become a Slime.

Slime point of view: 

I started existing today. 

By some strange reason I am tempted to say that I was born, but since I am all alone and cannot feel anything else in my vicinity for the moment I will just say that I am existing. 

Another strange thing is that I can tell that I am in a serious lack of senses, whatever that is.

I do have a feeling that I used to be something different from what I am now but I just can't seem to remember much of anything.

I feel like I am some sort of tongue. All I can do is taste, feel, and wriggle around. 

I do know 3 things at least: 

- I am currently located in a corner.

- One of the walls are giving me a tingling sort of feeling that I quite enjoy.

- Everything that is touching my body tastes delicious. 

I believe that I am feeling hungry and have decided to eat something. 

I have decided to not eat what I will from now on call Ms Tingleywall as I quite enjoy touching her, 

I will also avoid eating the floor and the rest of the walls as I don't have any idea of what is on the other side. 

Also I don't seem to be able to eat them anyway no matter how delicious they taste.

Sitting here in this delicious tasting corner with Ms Tingleywall is rather nice, but since it seems there is nothing here for me to eat I have decided to move on. 

I start wriggling my entire body in an attempt to get myself moving. I have decided to follow Ms Tingleywall for as long as possible for the moment. 

After a few minutes of time I finally manage to find the technique of moving myself and start following Ms Tingleywall into the unknown. 

I don't need to move much before a new delicious taste is under my body, it feels kind of grainy and I decide to attempt to eat it. 

A few seconds later I can feel the grainy substance on the floor is floating inside me and the floor starts to taste like before: Delicious but un-edible. 

I continue to move along Ms Tingleywall and I constantly encounter the same grainy substance no matter where I move, I decide to eat it all. 

I continue moving along and suddenly I encounter a new delicacy. It has the same consistency as myself but a lot smaller than me. 

I don't think it is the same as me as it does not wriggle around so I decide to eat it. 

I feel really lucky as I encounter these tiny lumps all the time as I move along. After a while I start to feel kind of full and all the stuff that I have eaten seems to keep me from wriggling properly. 

I need to struggle more and more to move and suddenly I start feeling myself start fading away, this is really scary and I start wriggling around in panic, I fade even faster and after a few final wriggles and I am gone.
