《Chosen - A CYOARPG》S1E014 - Bath Time

Perhaps fleeing from the guards would be a bad idea. You don’t believe you have done anything wrong, so why not just go and speak with them?
You nod and then get up, before approaching the other room. You peer your head in and see a woman with short black hair in a bob, her eyes steeled and brown. She is wearing breast plate, with a spear resting in the crook of her elbow as she leans against it, a short sword and a dagger on either side of her waist. She doesn’t have a cloak, which is not something a typical guard is allowed to go without.
As you approach her, her eyes flash to you. She eyes you up and down for a moment and then narrows them. You feel as though you probably shouldn’t speak at the moment. After a long few moments she finally speaks up.
“Go and bathe first, then we can lead you to the Lord in Arms.” She nods at you.
A woman that likes to get the point it seems. Her tone of voice is low, but seems to hold some authority. The other two guards beside her are fully geared up too, but seem to be rather casual as they chat with one another, joking about various things.
Rebeca poked your side with her elbow and then lets you out near the back where there is an open bath, surrounding by wooden walls and a roof that can be propped up or left on one side. Rebeca goes to heat up the coals, but you’d best be quick.
Before she leaves, Rebeca hands you some spare clothing of hers. They will fit you well enough considering her girth. It’s a blouse, some pants with large pockets, as well as a large sheet of heavy cloth that you can drape over like a cloak, all some form of beige or grey.

You take a quick enough bath, getting rid of all the grime and the oils that had stuck to you due to your modification. Speaking of your modification…
You could go and show the Lord in Arms your work? You could also pass it off the merchant when you have the chance, a two in one deal.
Would you like to take your work with you, or would you like to leave it behind?
Make your choice.

Star God
An ancient, ageless entity of magic intertwines with the essence of a tribal hero and a god is born. In a land where the worship of any entity is banned and punishable by mass-execution, the young and idealistic deity must come to terms with the ugliness of humanity, and find a way for his flock to survive, and maybe even thrive. A young man born into a mountain tribe treads the path of a hero, but he must learn the extent to which he would go to keep his people and their fledgling god safe and happy. Enemies are everywhere, and to defend their way of life, they must learn to harness the power of magic. Others are ahead of them in this regard, so they must act fast if they are to survive. A Xianxia-esque magic system, but with a focus on Western-style spellcasting and mysticism. This is more or less a deconstruction of classical fantasy and pantheons. The story focuses on two main characters; a God and a hero who serves him. Kingdom building themes are prevalent. If you like it, please remember to rate and review.
