An Evil Justice
Chapter 10 – Return to the Sinful World (pt. 3)
A/N – This freakin’ chapter was so hard to write and took so long… ;-;
I can only wait when I can haphazardly kill and murder everyone after I’ve situated the Emissaries’ characters
Anyways, sorry that (at least to me and probably all of you guys) this chapter is so low quality
Mature Warning- Extreme violence, harsh language, death
--* Fenlei City, Missor *--
Before the two of them stood hundreds of men and women, wielding various types of guns. A chill rushed down their spines as they stared helplessly at the army of gunners. Though Grim felt an urge to let loose, he was apprehensive. The mission was to protect Lilith, and he simply did not wish to compromise his agreement with Satan. Though he may be a sinful murder, the Reaper holds his promises true.
“Emissary of Wrath, isn’t your job to protect me…” Lilith glanced at the man beside her. Though she was cautious around him, she knew that he held immense strength in battle. However…
Grim simply snorted, “You think I can kill them all before they can press the trigger?”
“Why did you humans have to create such annoying weapons…” she sighed. A resigned looked was evident in her face, as she stared in bitterness at the unconscious and possibly dead guards and civilians around them.
“Can’t you summon those illusions again?” the Reaper asked, while watching the gunners slowly approach, their guns angled towards the two of them.
“If I could use illusions willy nilly, then I wouldn’t be stuck with you!” Lilith simply sighed once again.
“Goddamn it…” seeing the group surround them, Grim clenched his teeth together as he wrapped his muscular arms around Lilith’s soft body. Hugging her body close, he jumped into the air and dashed above the army of killers as the maiden screeched in surprise.
Instantly, gunfire rang out as they fired their guns toward the fleeing man. Holes dotted the walls of buildings inside of the city as they hurriedly chased down the two, yet none of them could even hope to catch up to the slippery snake. However, unlike them, their bullets flew true and embedded themselves into Grim’s flesh.
Dark liquid constantly dripped to the ground as they ran deeper into the maze of buildings.
Grim felt his head go nauseous with each step as he lost more and more blood. He felt the metal projectiles dig deeper and deeper into his body with each movement, yet he ignored the agonizing pain. Hugging Lilith tightly, the two of them made their way down numerous alleys, sinking deeper into the dungeon of Fenlei City.
“Those fucks… This is the third time… Third time!” Grim roared in rage as he let go of Lilith and collapsed onto his knees. Though the Emissary of Lust wanted to reprimand him for touching her body, she quickly backed off as a layer of darkness covered the reaper’s frame. Torturous screams and pained moans emanated from his horrific figure.

Grim’s eyes grew wilder and redder as if they were filled to the brim with blood. They radiated desire. The desire to kill and destroy.
“Emissary of Lust, let us go and finish the mission…” his deep voice rumbled, chilling the shocked woman to the core. It was as if he was a completely different person. Instead of a calm and relaxed aura like before, he now radiated a psychotic and bloodthirsty veil of doom.
The rage that built up inside of Lilith for his unruly actions completely disappeared as the two of them walked in silence towards their goal.
The Blood Drop Assassins.
….
“Prince Lucifer, it seems like the Emissary of Wrath is being affected by his intense bloodthirst once again,” a figure in the sky spoke; his feet seemed to be stepping on solid air.
Due to his master’s threat, Chronos immediately made his way over to Fenlei City and now flew in the sky as he watched Grim and Lilith march through the expansive city. His eyes were furrowed as he stared at the Reaper’s body, which only grew darker and darker with each step.
“I’m afraid that he might succumb to the Sin…” he sighed.
His mind reverberated as a gentle voice echoed out inside of it, “Just keep watching, and protect Lilith if need be.”
With those orders, Chronos walked forward and followed the two Emissaries below.
“This’ll be a long day…”
….
“Who are you two?” a man clad in a blood-red cloak blocked their way. In his hand was a savage looking sword where numerous engravings were carved into it, presenting various images of death and gore. Grim’s eyes narrowed at the sight of the blade as his scars throbbed rapidly.
The throbbing feeling only sped up at the sight of the symbol sewed into the sleeves of the cloak. A drop of blood. Grim’s vision turned red with rage as a dagger wrapped in menacing red materialized in his hand. But, before he could swing it, a hand grabbed onto his wrist.
“What are you trying to do Emissary of Lust?” he muttered, his voice filled with bloodlust.
“I’m trying to make sure that our mission succeeds!” Lilith shouted, her amethyst eyes burned into Grim’s own.
Though he hesitated, the dagger disappeared from Grim’s hand as he glared menacingly at the assassin before them. Seeing him do so satisfied Lilith though her rage was still unbridled from his actions before. Shifting her eyes over to the assassin, she smiled sweetly, “Blood Drop Assassin, I’ve come from an organization specializing in information. Might I inquire an audience with your head?”
Seeing her charming smile and bewitching face, the man felt overwhelmed by Lilith’s beauty. However, as an assassin, he was used to such antics and held his ground, “I’m afraid not. Please leave this area before we forcibly drive you out.”

His response thoroughly disappointed Lilith, as her face twisted and frowned.
“Are you sure?” she said threateningly.
“Woman, are you trying to challenge me?” the assassin’s hooded face glared gloomily at the girl before him. Never in his life did he think that a simple person would dare look down and even threaten him.
“I said, are you sure?” as Lilith mouthed those words, her face warped and mutated. Unlike her failed attempt of mimicking a normal girl’s face, it was a successful illusion. The face of a horrific nightmare. The creature’s eyes were completely bloated and bloodshot, leaking rivers of blood. Scraggly hair stood sloppily on its rotting and withering head like lonely trees in a wasteland. Its nose was riddled with holes gushing intense amounts of pus that showered the horrified assassin.
Unlike the monsters Lilith had summoned before, she assimilated the illusion with her body and achieved such an effective and traumatizing effect. It was the complete opposite of the woman’s previously godlike looks, which could attract the most distant person just for a chance to few her beauty. In contrast, the face held the look of horror and disgust, so repulsive that even Grim had to grimace as he watched the assassin shirk away in despair.
(Honestly, I need more sleep)
….
A seemingly ordinary building stood before the two of them. Grim and Lilith stood silently as the assassin quickly fled as he shivered in terror while he stared at the girl. Currently, numerous assassins cornered them in the middle of the rather large yard, their weapons drawn threateningly. Grim’s fingers itched as his blood boiled from the desire to fight.
“Blood Drop Assassins, we’ve come here to seek an audience with your leader,” Lilith’s voice filled the air like a choir, unperturbed by their drawn swords, attracting the surprised faces of the assassins. Though they wanted to attack and take her for themselves, they knew that the figure beside her was a powerful person.
Should the assassins try to chase them out, they could only suffer numerous losses.
Suddenly, one of the assassins couldn’t hold back his lust and greed as he charged forward, his red cloak floating behind him with each step. Suddenly, his sword swung like a guillotine aimed at Grim’s neck. He expected the sword to behead the man and gush forth a fountain of blood, but unexpectedly, he lost sensations of his right arm. At first, it was a numbing experience, but as realization dawned upon him, he screeched in pain as half of his arm fell to the floor.
“That was the last time… I can’t lose anymore!” Grim thoughts roared as he watched the assassins for any sudden movements. Though he wanted to succeed with the mission in order to pay the crimson demon, he would not hesitate to commit murder. His mind was set into stone. No matter what, he could not lose. He could not run away. He must fight until the death!
His muscles tensed up as the assassins drew closer with their savage blades. Though many of them have relied on subterfuge and sneak attacks in most of their missions, the group was not weak to say the least. Many of them have grasped the basics of swordsmanship and knife play. Due to the organizations focus on these two branches of combat, completely ignoring the use of guns in place of archery, many of the assassins were skilled warriors.
None of them were capable of wielding a gun competently, but their skills in the three branches of ancient combat have given them ample amounts of skill. And now, these skills were to be put to a test. It will determine their life and death!
Instantly, tens of red-cloaked individuals charged towards Grim and Lilith.
“I suppose you have no qualms about me fighting back?” the Reaper smiled wildly.
Without waiting for the woman to reply, he let loose a loud howl akin to that of a hungry beast. Two daggers materialized in both of his hands as they swung like a pendulum of death. Wails of agony filled the air as a dark cloak shattered Lilith’s illusion and draped itself over the Reaper’s body. Wisps of shadows surrounded him, hunting down anything is sees.
Blood rained down from the sky as they shouted in misery, “What the hell is he?!”
As soon as he finished his anguished words, the assassin’s head was lopped off and fell to the concrete floor in a puddle of crimson. It was a massacre.
While they may be deadly assassins to mortals, it was impossible for them to contend with the literal incarnation of the Sins, and perhaps even Death itself.
The destructive and bloodthirsty aura Grim had suppressed had long since erupted from his body, but it only served to cause some assassins to hesitate, before they charged in. No matter what, they would not allow this dangerous being into their headquarters. Even at the cost of their lives.
This simple rule has been instilled into their very being ever since they had become assassins in the association.
Complete your mission even at the cost of your life.
It seemed almost as if they held the same resolution as Grim…
Nonetheless, these two forces of destruction now face each other to the very end!
Before any of you ask, the not-so-hidden words were my friend's idea.
I have no involvement in this memely matter.

Era: Dawn of the New Gods
Concise Synopsis: This is a post-apocalyptic story about the origins of various powerful figures that appeared after the apocalypse event. During the apocalypse monsters appeared possessing powers and constitution beyond the limits of human understanding. They ravaged the world and brought down all governments. The first part of the story follows Jade, a terrorist that was ravaging the world before the monsters arrived. Dramatic Synopsis: The New Gods, the most feared and revered beings on the planet. They are forces capable of absolute destruction and creation. The Council of Branches Hayley, the Living Lie (if that is her real name) Chao Feng, the Prince of Stars Lara, the Mother of Heroes The Great City of Tver Gog, the Ever Losing War The Unkillable Freak Dave, the Flow Demon Avatari, (only the name is known) Satoshi, the Gentle Hurricane As Impactful as they are no one knew their origin, they are called the New Gods so there must be Old Gods. I and my collegues dedicated our lives to finding their origins only to find out that the beings we fear and adore were once like us, average, mortal and weak... at least most of them were. *It is a sort of reverse RPG as no one knows anything either skills, abilities or how the system works but they find out on their own or develop their own skills or abilites. *The story has many protagonists and point of views but it paints a beatiful story of survival in a world of endless perils for both the humans and the monsters(some monsters are protagonists). *There is a system but it is very limited (not overpowered) and treats everyone equally, monster or human. The system is very different from regular systems; no exp, levels and system items. *The story is a world building story where overall, the world is the true main character. The cover image photo is credited to Angel David *For now it's one chapter a day
