《Lune Levant》Chapter 28

Dreadlilocks followed the gingerbread girl into the recesses of the cave…which, gradually, as if by magic, morphed into the marzipan-paved road to a mystical new world.
Cotton candy clouds floated through a coffee-colored sky, casting shadows over fields of shaved coconut. Powdered sugar began to fall, coating the pair in patches of white. On a whim, Dreadli licked her free hand, and it was sweet.
“…Blizzard’s on the way,” the gingerbread girl murmured. “I could make it stop, but this is what I had planned for today…let’s just hurry inside.”
She led her to a gingerbread house on a hill, and opened the door. In the front room was an already roaring hearth, and a table covered in bowls, spoons, flour, and other baking supplies.
“Sit by the fire and dry off,” she said. “Even on the moon, you can still catch cold.”
Dreadli did as she was told, removing her boots and stockings. “Um…so, who are you…?” she asked.
“Just call me Gin,” answered the gingerbread girl.
“Okay…Gin,” said Dreadli, squeezing the water from her locs. “Why did you help me just now?”
“I felt obligated. You’re one of the last stories Jack wrote before he was locked away, and against all odds you made it to the moon…I figured he would have wanted me to help you.”
“…What??”
Dreadlilocks stared at her host, wide-eyed. “Jack…wrote me…?”
Gin stared back, then smiled. “Oh…you don’t know anything, do you?? It’s been a long time since I interacted with someone from LaConte…I forgot how limited your perspective is. Of course, I used to be just like you, once upon a time...”
She joined Dreadli by the fire, although she made a point to sit a bit further away. “…I burn easily,” she explained. “Now: do you want to hear the story of the universe…?”

Dreadli nodded, nervous but curious.
“Okay. I’ll just speed through the beginning stuff; that’s not as important…besides, you already know most of it, don’t you? Mère L’Oye made the world, and then she made a son. They live here and work together…but I guess you weren’t aware that Jack did any writing?”
“Well, sort of …I guess we knew he could write, but we never really thought about him actually writing…or doing anything, to be honest. I know I didn’t, not until everyone explained about the unwriting and said it was his fault…” Dreadli looked at the floor. “The…the Odsplut said that wasn’t true, though…and I guess you’re about to tell me the same thing.”
“Of course! You know, when Jack told me about that, I almost didn’t believe it. It’s just so unnecessarily cruel…dragging his name through the mud just to make herself look sympathetic…it’s not as if anyone will be around to read her story in the end…”
“Wait, whose story??”
“Well…Mère L’Oye’s.” Gin sighed. “You see…she’s going to die soon.”

Yet Another RimWorld (Dropped)
*Fanfiction based on the game RimWorld*A more realistic take of RimWorld, where we follow the pawns that must struggle to survive in yet another Rimworld. Their stories, guided by a particularly playful narrator, will tell the tales of survival, defeat, gains, losses, triumph, and ultimately ruin. Trials faced by people, in places of various circumstances, will be observed and presented to its audience. What will be presented here are insignificant snippets of history, merely few of the innumerable tales and prospects to be found across this wide galaxy; The things we discover from these pawns, so many yet so few. Ultimately, they are just more drama meant for enjoyment, albeit in a twisted way. A/N:This is a fanfiction, based on the game "RimWorld". Using my personal gameplays as a basis for this fanfiction, in addition to some embellishments here and there. Unlike the silly antics that caused grave consequences if you had ever played RimWorld, my rendition will (hopefully) stay more grounded to reality, whereby no one will go beserk and dig up corpses if they can't eat on a table for 3 days in a row. That's all I need to say, you get the point. I'm writing this for fun. So please expect me to be inconsistent. Lastly, I am incredibly grateful to Tynan Sylvester for the game he created, "RimWorld", which is loved by many across the world and it will always remain a special place in my heart. For without his game, my work would not exist.

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
