Chapter 33 - Waiting for the Ever Winds

 After eating in that place, Stian and Cyra parted, since she had no interest in seeing the bright lights that the aurora will give. So Stian didn't even bother and decided to leave . Right now the only thing that can he do is to watch the snow as it goes insane in falling.

 Eventually the boredom has been spread inside Stian's mind so decided to explore the town while keeping his camera at hand just in case he find something that will please his eyes.

 So Stian walk towards what it seems to be a place that has parts that are used for the steampunk devices. Though the workshops and blacksmiths are hold up on the mountain where none can enter other than the secret tunnel that is only available for the known members .According to the people around it seems that outsiders are strictly restricted to enter and everyone who dares will be subdued.

 Thus Stian didn't bother and just walk towards what it seems to be the garrison of the town. Due to the presence of the Black Snow Tribe here, most of the militia's in the town has crest of the tribe and seems to be currently having a drill.

 Looking around the base garrison there was huge metal humanoid that is half the size of a two story building. in its chest were turbine like mechanism's that seems to pump the what seems to some sort of fuel that spreads around its body.

 According to the people around here, the huge metal humanoid powered by Steam and magic is what they call a Jarnstryke. A weapon made by the Dvergr and also the symbol of their cooperation within these town. Also because of these monstrous weapons that the town has been safe and no one dares to ever do some trouble.

Stian furrowed his bros and thought

Why do those Dvergr's looking for me the moment they heard of my guns when they can build things like these? I can understand the merchants being merchansts wanting to buy the schematics and rights for replication but why do they want my guns?

 At some point, Stian stopped having thoughts and then pointed his camera towards the metal giant and push the button in order to capture the image of the metal giant that emits an aura of fear. After taking the photo, Stian didn't dawdle anymore as he walk towards the stream where the giant water wheel of the town is located.

 As Stian walked, he then saw Old Ron who seems to be talking to someone and took a glance for a moment. Eventually the man that Old Ron was talking to then walked away and Old Ron who felt the glare of Stian then called out to him.

'"Hello there young man''

''Sup Old Ron, Who was that?''

''Oh nothing, just someone I need to contact with for business who is totally not suspicious''

''Ohhhh, whats its about?'' Stian asked

''Nothing, just handing some totally not suspicious reports that totally won't do any harm''

''I see, then I'll be off now. see ya later''

''Bye then''

 Stian then turn his back towards the old man as he then sat near a bench and watched the waterwheel rotate as it gushes streams of crystal clear water. Around the bank of the stream where the water flows are children's who seems to be playing in the water despite the cold weather.

 Stian thought for a while why there parent's are letting them play in such cold weather when it then hit Stian that the waters are warmed and that technically them playing there would warm them. After taking pictures of the stream and the added warm scene of playing in the water as the snow falls. Stian then headed out towards the market and in order to look for some new weapon he can defend himself with.

 After the talk with Cyra about the blessings and being exploited. Stian decided to look for weapon that he can use in order to have something to use other than his guns and blessing. So eventually he started looking for weapons in the stalls.

 From spears, daggers, long and short swords and even war hammers and axes were displayed on the stalls. But despite the very generic designs that the merchants are being so enthusiastic in shouting and trying to sell off of the people.

 Though I did tried looking Dvergr products but it seems that the Dvergr's doesn't their own weapons and especially their muskets are heavily regulated and in the market the only thing they sell are their own crafted items which are just basically swords with different designs that could you look at and tell ''Oh its a a Dvergr crafted weapon'' in a glance.

 Though it would be more probable to look for a weapon with practical use other than it's cool factor. I still decided to buy a Dvergr Eaglehead Scimitar which seems to be sturdy and is of high quality. And even if it's not then I can probably just reinforced with my wanderer's black threads in order reinforced it while it's still in a sheath in order for not to be suspected. After that Stian decided he have enough for wandering a while and decided to go back to the Inn .

Later on after Stian woke up , he did the usual things and eat at the same restaurant and soon headed towards the lookout point that the phenomena that he came here for will happen.
